It isn't easy going against everything you were raised to be but Allison doesn't have a choice. She needs to do this.
One look at Lydia tells her she's right. One touch and her doubts are almost forgotten. One kiss and Allison feels like she's in heaven.
Allison doesn't hunt but she does protect and she will keep Lydia safe no matter what. Even from the people she has known all her life. Especially from them, maybe.
It's easy, suddenly, with Lydia and her friends by her side. Allison doesn't have to join the family business. She's more than that.
