They've been working towards this day for a really long time. It always seemed a little out of reach. It isn't. Not anymore. Steve has just been elected as the US president. Finally. Bucky is so proud of him. There is no one he would rather support than Steve. They are best friends, they are allies, they are everything to each other. And Steve is going to make a real difference in this country, Bucky just knows it. He will be by Steve's side through everything. All the highs and lows. Like he always has been. It's where he belongs.
