“Holy shit. Gerard, are you sure that’s what they said?” Mikey asks breathlessly, his voice still shaking with mirth. Gerard frowns, shifting the phone on his shoulder.
“What? Yeah, I’m sure. Why? Mikes, what?”
“G, they’ve invited you to a fucking sex club. A – a gay sex club.”*
It's Comic Con 2008 and Gerard will do just about anything to spend time with his friend, inspiration and (not-so-secret) crush, Grant. So when the enigmatic writer invites him to a 'party' that evening, Gerard jumps at the chance to attend.
But when Gerard finds out that he's accidentally agreed to attend a gay sex club event with Grant, Gerard still can't quite bring himself to change his mind. After all - this could be his chance to get close to the person he's had his eye on for years. As the night progresses, Gerard learns that the key to getting close to Grant is temptation, sulkiness, and a willingness to make himself look just a little bit desperate.
