Summary
When Filch finds a nest of eggs under a stasis charm in Hagrid’s hut, Minerva asks Severus and Hermione to help her lift the charm and hatch the eggs. When they determine that the eggs were laid by Hedwig, Severus immediately becomes withdrawn and angry. Hermione is determined to understand Severus’ sudden change in behavior, but in doing so she’ll have to confront her own feelings for her former professor.
