Junhui and Minghao return to the village of Yabbay with the intention of accompanying their grandmother who has become seriously ill. She lives in the Shinto shrine, inside the forest that surrounds the mountains where they talk about the existence of spirits and above all, demons.
In the Yabbay Festival, where children play hide-and-seek in the forest when the fog lifts, to appease the demons from attacking the village.
Both brothers have not been to the village for more than ten years, due to an event that forced them to stay away, but they have returned to those sacred lands of their childhood.
There, where the demons do not forget and human hearts are at the mercy of their games and desires.
