   Summary

"It's not safe outside these walls, Cas!"
"Dean, if the world has already ended, then all that matters is the truth. And I want mine."

What do you get when you mix a touch-starved, neurodivergent, career academic on a journey of self-discovery, a recently-disabled former soldier doing his best to save every last soul he meets (who refuses to admit that his injury has changed his life in the slightest), a dystopian road trip, coping skills that require safe words, and the persistent hold of a society that was irretrievably broken long before it finally collapsed?

The apocalypse hasn't seen anything, yet.
