Hermione and Sirius Black brought their son, Regulus Richard Black, home to 12 Grimmulad Place, which was met with their friends and family welcoming them warmly and loudly back home. Harry and Ginny were the first two of their friends to quickly step forward to cuddle and coo at the newborn in their arms. Ginny swaddled her godson in her arms as Harry stood by her side and smiled warmly at the little baby boy. Hermione hovered closely to whoever was cuddling her child, overly protective of their son and Sirius just leaned back against the wall, folding his arms across his chest as he watched his wife, his small family and his friends interact with his little boy. His son. His boy. If only his younger brother could meet the little boy that he had been named after.

It had been a week since the birth of Reggie. Hermione was so exhausted from the minimal sleep that she had been getting. Every time she thought she was able to get to sleep, Reggie would start crying and need another feed or another change. Sirius was an incredible amount of help though, Hermione wouldn't have been able to do without him. She wouldn't have been able to cope with this new life without her husband, Sirius. But, once she had Reggie quiet again, Hermione would snuggle and nuzzle her way back into bed with Sirius and cuddle her way into his chest. Hermione only ever slept well when cuddled against Sirius's naked chest, his body was always the perfect warmth to send her straight to sleep.

Lovesick Day Number Sixty Three
Reggie was now just over two months old. Hermione and Sirius were constantly getting gurgling and cooing sounds from Reggie. He babbled at anything and everything. Reggie liked laying across Sirius's chest and babbled noisily while grabbing at his father's long hair. Hermione loved watching Reggie and Sirius interact with each other. It was adorable. Sirius always had worries throughout their relationship that he would never be a good father but Hermione constantly reassured him, and here was the proof. He was an incredible father. She already wanted another child with him. Hermione already wanted to give Reggie a sibling.
