Summary
When Will wakes up from the fall, he's energetic and restless. Almost nothing can keep him fully satiated.
When Will starts a string of brutal murders in the small town he and Hannibal have settled in, he leaves Hannibal feeling betrayed once again, their newfound peace ruined.
With his restlessness and bloodlust, Will feels that the only way to truly keep Hannibal safe is to leave until he can get himself under control. He departs with a letter, explaining his actions.
When Hannibal and the FBI both realize that Will has split from him, a deadly hunt begins as Hannibal races to find him before the authorities can get their hands on him, creating tableaus along the way in the hopes that his messages will somehow reach his beloved.
