It was a calm and peaceful night.

The whole neighborhood was sleeping soundly.

All that remained were two girls, Emu Ootori and Nene Kusanagi, peacefully playing Kirby's Return To Dreamland Deluxe together.

They played and played, breezing through the story like the spring, having a merry time with minigames.

Most importantly, they were side by side, enjoying each other's presence.



Nene's Room

Well, we did just stay up 'till 2 in the morning 100%ing Kirby.

That game was so Wandahoi!

We were like WHOOSH and BOBOBOM through the levels, and totally PAPOWed the bosses! The minigames were so BZZAM! Nene-chan was so skilled!

Well, you weren't half bad yourself.

Hehe~, Nene-chan complimented me.

Today was so much fun, right Nene-chan?

Yeah, I'm glad I got to spend today playing with you, Emu.

We probably should go to bed, though. After all, don't wanna be too tired for rehearsals tomorrow.

I wanna hear a Kirby bedtime story from Nene-chan!

Because, if Nene-chan reads a Kirby story to me, I'll have lots of good dreams about fun adventures and tons of food.

Hehehe~ this is gonna be so fun

"After many days of rain, the sky was finally clear."

Nene started to read along to Emu.

The story was about Kirby and his friends having fun in their dreamlike world.

Hide and seek, treasure hunting, watermelon eating, thrill seeking, and a restful nap, too.

Nene did her best to make the story fun and enjoyable, and Emu listened intently on every word.

Peek-a-boo~! Woooah~ so shiny~! Mmm~ yummy~! EEK~ so spoo~ky!

(Nene-chan's voice is sooo sooothing.)

(Feeling... sleepy...)

No, it's my fault for not tucking you in bed sooner. Anyways...

"...On the count of three they all sent their paper airplanes flying."

"Everyone laughed and laughed. They were having so much fun."

"Then, as if to mark the end of their wonderful day, the first tiny star began to twinkle."

Nene then got up from her comfy position and began to shuffle around looking for a piece of paper.

Following instructions off the internet, she carefully and meticulously creased the sheet.

After a couple of minutes, a neatly folded airplane was formed.

Nene took the time to admire the paper airplane and her craftsmanship skill.

It's done. Do I just throw it out of the window?

First of all, do you really think Kirby could just suddenly appear in our world because of a wish on a PAPER AIRPLANE of all things?

Don't get me wrong, children are fun, but...

Taking care of one is the worst.

Well, for starters, they make messes everywhere, they're super noisy, and they take lots of time and resources to take care of. I don't see why anyone would willingly take on that burden.

Even if we WEREN'T in high school, having a child would be too much for me. Sorry, Emu, but I don't think I'd ever want a child, especially not Kirby, who is a literal black hole.

No, it's fine. You said it yourself, my wish won't happen, right?

So there's no harm in throwing that airplane.

As Nene threw the airplane, a gust of wind blew it all the way into the sky.

By the time Nene regained her bearings, the paper airplane was gone, nowhere to be seen.

As if responding to the wish on the paper airplane, a shooting star began to fall.

It twinkled at Nene, as if saying, "Your milky way wish is my command."

(Huh?)

(Was that... a shooting star?)

(There's no way...)

(No, snap out of it, Nene! Silly stuff like that will never happen in a million years.)

(I should get back to reading the story before my mind wanders off more.)

Emu and Nene were comfortably snuggled up against each other.

They knew that many sweet dreams and wonderful adventures awaited them.

As they rested, the stars shined brightly above them.

Although Kirby was in the middle of a sweet dream filled with lots of strawberries and cake, he was woken up by Bandana Dee's loud knocking.

He thought to himself, "What could be so important that my sleep be disturbed?"

As he looked outside his window, he was greeted with quite the shocking view.

A giant wormhole was consuming the residents of Dreamland.

Oddly, it was shaped like a penguin mascot with a jester hat.

Kirby proceeded to rush outside to assist his friends.



Dreamland

Ah, Kirby, you're finally awake! We need your help!

That wormhole has started sucking everyone into it! It got Dedede, too!

(o_o)?

Ah, oh no! I'm being sucked in! Kirby, help me!

(ò_ó)!

Ei!

*twinkle* *twinkle* *twinkle*

Seeing that his dear friend was in trouble, Kirby came to the rescue.

He called upon his trustworthy Warp Star to help him.

He jumped on and courageously took into the skies.

Thanks to the Warp Star, Kirby was able to quickly catch Bandana Dee before the wormhole could claim him.

*clink*

Phew, that was close...

You saved the day yet again, Kirby!

Ah, we're being pulled even harder! Hold on!

Haaaaaaaaaa!

Going as fast as he could, Kirby raced to escape the pull of the wormhole.

However...

UWAAAAAAAAAA!!! WANYAAAAAAAAAA!!!

Even with his best efforts, It wasn't enough to escape the mysterious wormhole.

The two of them were helplessly sucked in, at the mercy of wherever it would take them.



Meanwhile, as the wormhole continued to wreak havoc, a lone warrior watched from afar.

Meta Knight, perplexed by the intergalactic dilemma, was debating to himself a course of action.

...

(I couldn't stop it...)

(I knew something was off the moment a paper airplane suddenly appeared out of the sky...)

(I recall reading about wishes on paper airplanes from other worlds.)

(If what I read is true, then disaster on a planetary scale awaits all of us.)

(What could someone have wished for to bring Kirby and everyone through that wormhole?)

(Looks like I have no choice. I'm gonna get to the bottom of this.)

I'm going in!

Seeking answers, Meta Knight flew straight into the wormhole.

"What or who could have caused such a thing to happen?" he thought as he ventured into the unknown.

As the comfort of Dreamland disappeared far behind, he hoped that he wasn't too late to stop whatever disaster might occur.

The dawn of a new day fell upon the neighborhood.

Emu and Nene, still recovering from their late gaming session, slumbered through the alarms on Nene's phone.

A long restful sleep is always nice...

...Unless you have practice to attend soon.

Luckily, a certain alchemist, who happened to be Nene's neighbor, was not about to let his dear friends be late.

And so, the two of them would soon be gently woken from their slumber.



Nene's Room

Ugh, what was that? I thought I was gonna have a heart attack...

The three of them then trekked toward their treasured theme park, talking about their sleepover.

At this point, Nene didn't think much of the paper airplane she threw yesterday, playing it off as some silly little distraction.

Little did she know, that airplane would bring an unexpected surprise after they reached the park.

It's time for us to brainstorm a brand new show!

It was another clear and sunny day at Phoenix Wonderland, the Wandahoi theme park where anyone can smile.

Wonderlands x Showtime, a theater troupe of four teenagers, had the shared goal of spreading smiles to the whole world.

Just like how Dreamland is Kirby's special place, the amusement park hold dear memories for the four of them.

There, Tsukasa, Emu, Nene, and Rui began their usual routine of preparing for their upcoming shows.

I wanna become Kirby~!

I'll go PUFFY PUFF into the sky, PEW PEW enemies, and SCHVOOO lots of food.

How exactly are you gonna do all that?

Theoretically, implementing that shouldn't be too difficult. All I need is to implement a super vacuum function into the-

Rest assured, I already have multiple safety precautions that I'll implement, so you two won't have to worry.

Thanks to Nenerobo alerting the park, the likelihood of casualties is low. However, there is a nonzero chance someone might be harmed.

Are we gonna die? Please tell me we won't die here.

I modified Wonder Stage to be reinforced, so that should lessen the impact in the scenario where the object lands on top of us.

However, there's no telling whether that will be enough to protect us.

The four of them waited in nervous anticipation as they awaited the impact.

They could only hope that whatever happened, they would come out unharmed.

Up above, the mysterious object kept falling and falling.

Unbeknownst to anyone, the course of their week would soon be shaken by a round, pink puffball.
