Summary
For centuries, immortals Cody and Obi-Wan have traversed the world side by side and watched it grow and change - finding others like them, loving them and losing them; guiding civilisations from one era to the next; helping innocent people where they can, from the smallest of gestures to the grandest of movements. So when a new immortal appears in their dreams, they're resolved to find and help her, the way they found and helped each other.
But they aren't the only ones interested in the new emergence; when an old enemy shows their hand and jeopardises the safety of everyone they know, Cody and Obi-Wan find themselves in a race against time to reach the new immortal first, and must overcome old hurts of the past and new challenges of the present in order to safeguard the future - theirs and the world's.
