Summary
In the wake of defeating Vecna, the relief is mixed with uncertainty and turmoil of a different kind as Mike finds himself trying to navigate tensions that finally have the chance to surface. After a conversation between Will and El behind closed doors, the latter uses her powers to bend reality and show Mike an alternate timeline where she never appeared—one where Will never disappeared. Mike is left to try to piece together what he’s meant to learn from the experience and, perhaps more urgently, whether he can use that knowledge to make things right between all of them in the life he knows.
