Summary
“Once we settle we’ll figure out her vest and everything ,” Sapnap promised. A promise made so long ago, and they still haven’t settled. They were still running. They were grown adults, running from their homes. Imagine that. They'd been running for years, and still... nothing.
They made a little money with Sapnap’s guitar, enough to buy some food, and if they were willing to be hungry for a night they could get a pet-friendly room whenever they could. Tonight? They slept behind a laundromat. Tattered old, ripped blankets provided little warmth, Roxie was better at keeping them warm than anything they could find in the wild, but Karl was comfortable. At least, as comfortable as he could be.
