Camila Dunne was completely in awe of Daisy Jones from the moment she met the woman. But, Camila didn't realise just how much her life would change because of Daisy. Throughout the whole creation of the newly named 'Daisy Jones & The Six' , Camila kept getting distracted by the presence that was Daisy Jones, even when Cami was supposed to be watching and supporting her husband, Billy Dunne, her eyes would always stray away to the other singer on the stage and she'd be caught off guard by the ginger woman that had stolen away and taken ahold of her heart. Then the sound of Camila's voice on the tape that her eldest daughter Jules had recorded brought back all of the emotions that Daisy had tried to hide away for years and years.
You regret me and I'll regret you.
Except I don't care what you feel.
And I totally already do.
I'm the slippage in the system.
"Well, I've always been her biggest fan." Camila smiled, a light blush shining against her sickly pale skin. Daisy sniffled at the sight of her on the camcorder. She ignored all the signs of Cami getting ill, she didn't want to believe it. Daisy had already lost too many people and now she would be losing another. It wasn't fair. It wasn't fair, it just wasn't fair at all, why did she have to lose another person and be alone?
With a natural gift, how I move.
So go ahead and regret me.
But I'm beating you to it, dude.
You regret me and I'll regret you.
As Daisy watched the tape, her eyes remained on Cami, and she couldn't help it when she carefully mouthed the words "I love you" to the recording of Camila. The one person she could never say those three words to again.

Camila and Daisy always met up together in random, cheap hotel rooms to hide their faces or snuck spare secret moments together whenever they could find a place to hide away from everyone in the band. No one really suspected a thing that was happening between the two women, everyone was too focused on themselves and everything that was happening in regard to the band’s upcoming album, ‘Aurora’. Camila stupidly thought that she was Daisy’s rock, the only solid thing that Daisy needed in her life but she had clearly been thinking wrongly because Camila had stumbled upon the ginger woman relapsing with hard drugs, snoring up the lines of coke off a mirrored surface.
You couldn't handle your liquor.
And you can't seem to handle the truth.
I'm the slippage in the system.
And I'm perfectly ready to strike.
However, then Daisy relapsed while the Six were on tour and Camila was stuck. What the fuck could she do? She wanted to help in any way she could but Camila was frozen in place at the sight of the ginger-haired woman laying on the tiled flooring of the hotel bathroom. She could have been dead and all Camila did was stand there, staring down at the body for a few minutes before it properly kicked in what had happened. With Daisy’s pathetic excuse for a husband nowhere to be found, Camila burst into help mode and instantly fell to her knees. The relationship between Daisy and her husband was clearly fake, Camila could see all of the signs there that were pointing to it being fake. There was regret flowing through her bloodstream but she needed to ignore all of that, Camila needed to save Daisy. She needed to save the one that she loved.
So go ahead and regret me.
But I'm not easing up on this mic.
Seven fallen angels in a tumbler.
Meet me in the parlor with your keys.
“Daisy, love, you are killing yourself,” Camila spoke lightly, almost whispering as the two of them remained in the ginger’s hotel room. The same hotel room where she had almost died last night. Cami’s hands were shaking as she reached out for Daisy. “You promised me that you had stopped taking them. You promised Billy. You promised everyone in the band that you had stopped taking these drugs, Daisy.” Camila’s voice wavered as she tried to get closer to Daisy’s body. The woman was upset. They both were upset from what had happened the night previous but there was nothing more that Cami could do. Daisy didn’t want the woman’s help, she wasn’t giving in to her feelings. She hated the inner feelings that she had for Camila.
Meet me in the corner where you keep me.
I'll do anything you please.
I'll do anything you please.
“You don’t care about me. You don’t care about me so stop acting as if you care,” Daisy mumbled before angrily pushing Camila away and storming out of the hotel room and leaving Cami alone with her spinning and rotating thoughts. The words kept roaming and roaming around Camila’s brain, not stopping but they grew louder and louder. “You don’t care about me. You don’t care about me so stop acting as if you care. You don’t care about me. You don’t care about me so stop acting as if you care. You don’t care about me. You don’t care about me so stop acting as if you care. You don’t care about me. You don’t care about me so stop acting as if you care. You don’t care about me. You don’t care about me so stop acting as if you care.” The words repeated on and on. Growing louder and louder, the words became angrier and angrier. Cami tried shutting it all out but it wasn’t working, nothing was working to shut it out.
You regret me and I'll regret you.
I find it perfectly natural.
Here in my car, if you do.
Off the PCH highway with the typical, wonderful view.
Daisy hated how she felt towards the other woman. She had never loved a woman like this before and wasn’t quite sure how to go about it. Daisy didn’t know how things like this happened and she didn’t know anything about loving a woman. She hated the inner feelings. Daisy couldn’t believe that she had allowed herself to fall for a woman. A married woman. Why couldn’t Daisy have fallen in love with Billy or Eddie or Graham or even Warren? Why had she fallen for Camila? And knowing that Camila loved her back when Daisy wasn’t even sure of her feelings hurt even more. Was this unrequited even though she clearly loved Camila even if she hadn’t spoken the three words out loud?
Go ahead and regret me.
Off the PCH highway with the typical, wonderful view.
Go ahead and regret me.
But I'm beating you to it, dude.
Then the band split up and everyone went their separate ways and ‘Daisy Jones & The Six’ were finished. Everything was finished and Billy and Camila returned home to try and piece back together their relationship with each other. Things needed to work out and for months, basically years, Camila heard nothing from Daisy. Nothing at all about the relationship they shared with each other. Daisy seemed to be happy with her life from what Cami had seen in the newspapers and in the interviews. But, Camila missed her Daisy. Her Daisy Jones. The Daisy that she loved so much and would have done anything for.
Go ahead and regret me.
But I always will too, regret you.
Go ahead and regret me.

The one person she could never say those three words to again. “I love you so much,” Daisy whispered, more so to herself than to anyone else. Finally, admitting the feelings that she had mourned over for so long.
But I always will too, regret you.
