Work Text:

Clyde doesn’t think it’s his fault. He should have a right to choose whether or not he wanted to take the vaccine. In fact, he wasn’t sure why everyone was so quick to take it in the first place with all the bad word going around about it. He knew it wasn’t his fault and he wasn’t going to change his mind just because a couple of his old friends were arguing about it.

“Clyde you have to take the fucking vaccine or we’re never getting out of here!” Craig scolded, dragging his hand across his face to emphasize his frustration. “Nothing bad is going to happen to you, everyone here took the vaccine and everyone here is fine!” Tolkien reassured, trying to persuade Clyde even just a little bit. “No! Craig is literally balding and Stan is fat! Plus, Wendy might have grown 3 other nipples! We can never know!” Clyde argued, crossing his arms. “My balding is fucking genetics, Clyde. Wendy doesn’t have 3 other nipples, and just in case you didn’t notice, you’re fatter than Stan!” Craig yelled, his patience running thin which everyone found surprising considering the fact he’d been spending his whole life with Tweek, someone who required all of the patience.

But then again, this was Clyde they were talking about. No matter how much patient a person was, it would disappear the moment they met Clyde. “Hey, don’t get upset over this. Let’s just… turn in. It’s late, maybe we can talk about this in the morning.” Tolkien said, putting a comforting hand on Craigs shoulder. Craig smiled as he sighed. He nodded, gripping Tolkien’s arm sternly to show his gratitude. Tolkien walked away from Clyde to tell everyone that the conflict at hand will be resolved in the morning and that for now, they should just try to rest. Craig headed back to the large two-person sleeping bag, sitting on top of it and trying to clear his mind and calm himself down. After a minute or two, he felt someone else sit beside him.

“Hey.” Tweek greeted softly as everyone tried to get comfortable in their own clothes, having nothing else to change into to go to sleep with. “Hi.” Craig greeted back, looking over to the blond who was smiling, and he smiled back at him. “Did you catch up with everyone?” Craig asked, taking Tweeks hand into his and scooting closer to him so their knees and thighs were touching. “Not really. E-Everyone being here at the same time is-is kind of nerve wracking.” He laughed nervously. “But I know you caught up with Clyde plenty.” He joked, to which Craig rolled his eyes at. “I want to strangle him. I can’t believe how it’s possible that he hasn’t changed the slightest bit. Mentally and emotionally wise, I mean.” Craig sighed. Tweek laughed.

“Let’s just go to sleep for now, yeah? We’ll have plenty of time to yell at Clyde in the morning.” Tweek suggested, resting his head on Craigs shoulder and closing his eyes. Craig smiled, and took in the moment as he rested his own head on Tweeks. They eventually parted, knowing they couldn’t fall asleep sitting up but only to wrap their arms around each other once they settled into their sleeping bags and the lights were off. Only distant chattering and whispering could be heard, along with the sound of the air conditioning. “Good night, my love.” Craig said, planting a small kiss on Tweeks forehead. “Goodnight, sweetheart.” Tweek said back, kissing Craigs shoulder before closing his eyes contently. Tweek wasn’t one to use petnames, even in an over 40 year relationship and almost 30 year marriage. But whenever he did, Craigs heart would race and his face flushed, just like it did at that moment.

Stan, Clyde, Kyle, and Wendy could not sleep. They were the closest ones to where Tweek and Craig were sleeping and all they could hear were Craigs loud and uncontrollable snores. Stan sat up, not being able to handle the noise anymore. “Can he snore any louder!?” Stan groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose. Clyde sat up after Stan. “No, seriously! Is that even natural?” he whisper-yelled in annoyance. Kyle propped himself on his elbows, eyebags forming under his pale skin. “I’m literally going to strangle the air out of him.” Kyle said, sounding as serious as ever but everyone knew Kyle would never do anything like that. But, maybe he would, now that he was an adult.

“Okay, let’s not do that.” Stan laughed. Kyle glared at Stan in response. They weren’t on the best terms at the moment. “Guys, just—try to ignore it. We have a long day ahead of us.” Wendy sighed, not bothering to sit up, just putting her arms over her eyes. “How can we!? He sound’s like a lawn mower!” Clyde said. After the four of them complained about Craigs snoring, they all were curious on how Tweek could sleep through it, especially since he was snoring right next to his ear. Maybe he wasn’t even sleeping at all, just pretending.

Clyde stood up, carefully and quietly tip-toeing over to the pair and checking if Tweek was asleep. He in fact, was passed out on Craigs chest, drooling all over his shirt, letting out soft snores himself, but incomparable to Craigs. “He’s knocked out!” Clyde exclaimed in surprise. Both Kyle and Wendy looked impressed while Stan just huffed, covering his head with a pillow and shutting his eyes tightly. Stans annoyance soon passed to Clyde and he decided he had enough of putting up with Craigs obnoxious snores. He grabbed his pillow and slammed it into Craigs face while Kyle and Wendy yelled at him not to. But it was too late, the pillow made contact with Craigs face repeatedly and Craig woke up startled, his snores coming to an abrupt stop.

“Dude, what the fuck!?” He yelled, his voice raspy and tired, which caused Tweek to wake up too. He had less of a reaction though, just exchanging eye contact with Clyde, flipping him off and then burying his face deep into craigs chest. Clyde scoffed at the action, ‘Craig is such a bad influence’ he thought to himself. “You need to quit it with the snoring! How do you live with that, Tweek!?” Clyde questioned, genuinely wondering how it was possible that Tweek slept through that every night. Tweek stared at him for a while, probably deciding on whether or not he was going to answer that question. “Well, Craig didn’t always snore this loudly.” Tweek started, “It just got louder throughout the years and I guess it did bother me for like a month but that was when we were in our 20’s.” He explained, getting a little off topic. “Anyways, I guess it would slowly get louder so I didn’t really notice? Until his snoring jump scared me on our 10-year wedding anniversary.” He chuckled, recalling the memory.

He was on his phone while Craig slept next to him and then Craig let out the most thunderous snore out of nowhere. He brought it up in the morning and Craig felt self-conscious about it for a few years until he realized he was too old to give a shit about things like that.

Eventually, they all fell asleep, although they didn’t really sleep well, being woken up multiple times by Craig. They all wished they had the immunity Tweek does.

Notes:

Prompt: Tweek and Craig and their friends end up having to all sleep in the same room. Nobody can get any sleep because Craig is snoring incredibly loud... Except for Tweek, who's completely used to it.

Decided to base this off the scene where everyone had to sleep in the schools gym xp
