Summary
“You’re doing so well, my love,”
Odysseus doesn’t look up as he hears the voice of his beloved wife. He knew it was just in his head. It always was. However, he does stop for a moment.
“Oh, come on, Ody. Don’t stop now. It’s nice to watch you. Be a good boy and keep going, yeah?”
That was new. Odysseus had never hallucinated Diomedes’ voice before…
Or Odysseus, after being forced to sleep with Circe, tries to forget by looking through old journal entries and jerks off with the help of hallucinations of Penelope and Diomedes.
Or, or Odysseus REALLY misses Penelope and Diomedes

Summary
On Diomedes’ first day of battle, he got a slash on the right side of his face. It’s ran from his chin up through his eyebrow. It made his eye a little blurry but he could work through it was ease, could still become the second best soldier in the army in a later war. However, after he’s blessed by Athena in the tenth year of the aforementioned war, his eyesight gets ten times worse
Or, post book five Diomedes has REALLY shitty eyesight with a side story of Sthenelus REALLY hating Odysseus
