Summary
He grips his knees, his spine aching with the cold seeping from the dungeon’s floor. For a moment, he imagines sinking into it, letting it consume him and take over all his feeling. Would it be just an overall feeling of cold? Or would it be the aching spreading up his spine, over his legs, down his arms, and through his chest? Would the aching in his throat and the feeling of his heartbreaking disappear or it would that take him over too?
Eventually, the buzzing of his phone gets too hard to ignore, he grabs it and stares off into the distance, feeling the panic as he imagines black goo sliding out of the wall towards him. Coating the place where Cas had stood, and he thinks that he’s going to let this numbness take over.
