It was a very hot day in Hawkins, the last school day, the last lesson before the long awaited Summer Holidays came.
Richie was not only excited for the holidays, he was also excited what would happen after the summer, he was going to High-school! Which meant he could annoy the absolute hell out of his older brother Mike, and make fun of him having a crush on his best friend Will Byers.
But right now he had to sit still in class and wait for the boring lesson to end.
The bell rang and everyone ran out of school. He waited outside for his friend Group.
"Hey Guys" Ben and Beverly were the last to come out of the building
"H-Hey" Bill stuttered. He always had some problems with speaking in school he was called the "Stuttering Bill" not a very nice nickname...
"Are you guy's excited for the summer?" Mike (Hanlon) asked
"Hell yeah!" Richie said loudly "how about we meet tomorrow and go swimming?"
"Sounds nice" Beverly said, pulling out a cigarette from her pocket to smoke.
"I'm g-gonna sent a message to Stan so he will know" Bill said.
"Where is Stan anyways?" Ben asked
"He got picked up I think they went to the synagogue praying or that kinda stuff" Richie shrugged.
"Pr-probably" Bill also Shrugged.

"I'm Home!" He opened the house door and screamed, then he went into the kitchen to greet his Mother Karen "Hey Mom"
"Oh hey Richie, how was school?"
"Boring, really lame. Me and my friends are gonna go swimming tomorrow is that ok?"
"Of course, but remember to be home early enough. Your cousin Boris is going to be here this summer, he's going to be here late afternoon we will have a barbecue.....If your Dad is going to move his ass for once" she rolled her eyes at the last part
"Boris??? I have an cousin? "
"Yes, we couldn't see him often because of his Dad's work they are constantly traveling. But beginning of the last year they decided to stay in Nevada, aparently his friend Theodore is coming with him.... the last time you saw him you were still a baby and Michael was a toddler"
"Oh yeaah speaking about Mike where is he?"
"He's going swimming with his friends and after that they wanted to go to the starcourt mall watching a movie"
"Uggggggggggh" Richie rolled his eyes "I'm gonna be completly alone! All my friends are busy today that's why we are going swimming tomorrow"
"Well there are new neighbors moving in next day, a boy in your age how about you introduce yourself"
And so he brought his stuff in his room and went outside to the neighbors house, there was a moving truck with an really ugly lady who told some dudes that helped with moving stuff around, but out of the truck there came a really pretty boy who was carrying cartons with his stuff with his name on it "Eddie"
He came closer and greeted the boy "Hello new cute neighbor, I'm Richie Wheeler I'm living next door and you are?" He stretched out his hand for a hand shake
The cute neighbor kid stared seriously at him before speaking " I'm Eddie Kaspbrak.... uhm, nice to meet you Richie" he looked confused because Richie was still streching his hand for a handshake " did you wash your hand? .... I don't want Germs on my hands"
'Uhhhh ok weird??' He thought to himself but then answered :
"uh yes I did" that was a lie.
The other boy smiled and gave Richie the handshake he waited for.
Then Eddie's Mother screamed "EDDIE-BEAR HOW LONG ARE YOU GOING TO STAND OUTSIDE AND HELP YOUR MOTHER WITH UNPACKING OUR THINGS!?"
Richie let out a chuckle at the nickname, kinda reminded him of the mom out of one of his favourite comedy shows.
Eddie blushed for a second : "Sorry I can't keep chatting with you Richie, I have to help my Mom inside" he wanted to turn around and go inside but Richie stopped him :" WAIT EDDIE- uhm.... Do you wanna go swimming tomorrow with me and my friends?"
He smiled softly " uhm sure, I just have to ask my Mom but if she says no I can come over early to your house... But I would need your phone number, if that is alright"
"YES- Yes of course" so Richie gave him his phone number,weaved and left.
"Eddie hunny why did you take so long? Is something wrong? Did you hurt yourself?" Mrs. Kaspbrak was panicking
"No- I'm alright Mommy, one of the neighbor kids was saying Hi to me cause he saw the moving truck..."
"Oh.."
"He also asked me if I would want to go swimming with him and his friends, would that be alright?"
"Eddie. You don't even know these people.... but I have to admit that tomorrow it's going to be even hotter than today... you can go with them but I'm also going to be there if they do anything bad to you or hurt you,you never know what they will do. You got bullied hard..."
"Ok Mommy..." he gave her a kiss on the cheek and unpacked more stuff.
Richie let himself fall on his bed, he actually wanted to read some Dc comics or some of his Hentai mangas he hides far far under his bed so that his parents nor his siblings would find it, they wouldn't go into his room anyways but he needs to make sure.
He couldn't stop thinking about Eddie, his brown-grey eyes, his brown soft looking hair and his light freckles- Shit. Now he really understood his brother Mike...
Does he only find him attractive or is that love at first sight, that sounds so silly.... and stupid.
In the end he played some videogames on his gaming pc.....
