Summary
Hawkins Lab shut down years ago. In the years of its' absence of function, the facility hasn't been abandoned, however. Martin Brenner, former employee of the ill-fated laboratory, was granted an endless supply of wealth, after the (suspicious) death of his late step-father.
His first purchase? That very lab he formerly gave service to.
He's spent the past few years fixing it up, converting it into the realm of his darkest fantasies (and biggest fears of those subjected to its' nefariousness).
Alongside Henry Creel, his former co-worker and current co-conspirator in depravity, they have plans for the future of the facility; years in the making. Vendettas are a powerful thing. For years, Henry watched from the background, silent, but observant, in the halls of Hawkins High, and saw vendettas at play.
All it took was an offer—a proposition—and Billy Hargrove, Jason Carver, and Tommy Hagan fell like dominoes.
