Greta’s lips against her own drew Sypha back to reality, though she did not really like that reality. They were in too deep into the cave system and they had completely lost their way. She had no idea, how to get out of here and how to…
Greta cupped Sypha’s face with her hand, her eyes only visible through the flame Sypha had summoned. “Sypha, breath with me, alright?” she whispered.
Sypha nodded slowly.
“In and out,” Greta instructed. “In and out.”
Slowly Sypha went along. Inhaling and exhaling, as she did. She did not feel much better, though, because she was well aware that outside it was raining and what this could mean to a cave like this. Especially as she did not know how deep down they were.
“Sypha,” Greta now said. “You are a mage. You are not going to die here easily like this. You know this.”
Their voices sounded strange within the echo of the cave, but once more Sypha nodded. “I know,” she whispered. “But…”
“No buts,” Greta said. “Your two useless husbands will find us either way. So, stop worrying. We are gonna get out of here.” With that she kissed her again.
