Summary
Keith's anger management therapy would be bearable — if not for one problem. The terrible first impression (and next impression, and the one after that) he made on the guy in the slot before him. Maybe if they can start getting along, the weekly therapy might become a little less daunting?

“You don’t think maybe you actually don’t hate this guy? Maybe you’d get along if it hadn’t gotten off on the wrong foot?”
Keith squirms in his seat.
Shiro continues, unfazed. “You guys seem to have back-to-back slots, so maybe if you were friends with him it might make that waiting room a bit more bearable for you.”
“The waiting room isn’t unbearable as it is.” Keith knows Shiro must be able to see that he’s avoiding the topic. He can feel that same unexplained embarrassment from the last time he was in that reception room creeping up the back of his neck.
