Work Text:
Din isn’t a talkative man. He prefers to spend time with another person in silence (or at the very least, without speaking aloud) and if he likes the person, the sitting-in-silence-together thing feels like bonding.
(Most people don’t understand this. They think he’s antisocial. Rude. Weird. Or worse… although those people didn’t walk away unharmed.)
But things are different once Grogu appears in his life. Other than the occasional noise when he does something naughty or silly, Grogu barely makes a sound and doesn’t speak, but it doesn’t feel awkward. The silence between them is comfortable, natural.
Grogu understands him.
