Secretkeeper flew and flew as she tightly held her dear dragonet in her talons. The rainforest wasn't safe for her dragonet, Princess Grantness said that there were some Nightwings trying to capture more rainwings. She needed to find a safe place to hide Moonwatcher but where, the rainforest was the safest place on the continent. Maybe the talons of peace, NO, she shouldn't let them have her daughter, they took Faresights egg from her. Well there was once a place, but it’s in the Skywing kingdom, Jade mountain was the place she wanted to take Moon.
She heard from the talons of peace that a Nightwing lives there, he could send messages, Secretkeeper had something else in mind though. She could at least trust one nightwing from the talons of peace right, she didn't know his name but it was worth a shot. Once she was out of the rainforest, she saw the mountain line, Jade mountain towered over every other mountain in range. Secretkeeper flew higher and higher as she got closer to Jade mountain. The higher she got, the more stars she saw in the sky, She didn't notice until now, Moon was sleeping through the tough wind of her mother flapping higher into the air.
Once Secretkeeper got high enough to be at an even height with Jade mountain, she focused her mind back to her daughter. Moon was so peaceful sleeping in her mothers talons, Secretkeeper wanted this to last forever. But she knew that her husband Morroser would use Moon for the war if he found out about Moon. Secretkeeper focused her eyes back infront of her when she smelt the scent of smoke ahead of her, Jade mountain was very close now. Secretkeeper was now turning around the mountain trying to find the cave that the Nightwing lived in.
After Secretkeeper was halfway around the mountain, she saw the den entrance, she flew down to it and saw how massive the cave was inside. Moon was still in her talons but then a small chirp then a whine turned her attention toward her child, Moon had woken up. She was whining and grabbing the air in front of her, Secretkeeper thought that Moon wanted down. She set Moon down on the stone floor, she was no longer whining, she wasn’t crawling around the floor so she was fine. Since Moon wasn’t going anywhere it looked like, she picked her up and nuzzled her a bye, Moon chirped in response.
Secretkeeper walked over to a tunnel section of the cave and saw a very small den, she set Moon down in there. Secretkeeper started to walk away from the den, she heard the distressed chirp from her dragonet begging her to not leave them alone. She started to cry as the chirps became more and more like whining, she didn’t want to leave her child like this but she had no choice. Secretkeeper walked out of the den, and flew back to the rainforest, tears forming in her eyes. It might have still been night but she was active as ever, and she was just as sad as ever.
