Chapter Text
“Bear! Where the fuck did you leave my knifes?” Tiger howled from her perch on their newly constructed tree house. It was originally Wendy’s idea, but Big Man was the one to follow through with it. Now they had the main cabin, a tool shed, and four tree houses all connected with rope bridges. Everyone has a roof for rainy days, and a warm place to call their own.
“Tiger, stop teaching the kids new cuss words!” Bear howled back, her voice drifting from inside the cabin.
“Tell me where you put my goddamn knives and I might consider!” Tiger followed Bear’s voice and found her, along with Anna and Hannah, trying to sew little dolls. Bear’s shaky hands were clumsily sewing what appeared to be a mishaped teddy bear, while the rabbit twins were expertly sewing matching rabbit stuffies.
“Bear? Sewing a teddy bear? I never thought I'd see the day.” She taunted, but there wasn’t any bite behind the words.
“Oh shut up Tiger, Anna and Hannah were just showing me how to sew.” She nodded to the twins, their faces alight with youthful joy.
“Well, they seem to have a talent for it… unlike you.” In return, Bear chucked the half finished project at Tiger’s face. The plush missile hit her right in the middle of her forehead.
Before long, the four girls were caught in a heated “pillow” fight. Throwing around the soft dolls, and other pillowy items within reach.
“What in the hell is happening here?” Four pairs of eyes swivel to see Big Man standing in the doorway. His face was as stoic as ever, but there was a glint of amusement in his eyes.
Seeing as all four girls were frozen in shock, he simply shook his head in defeat.
“Nevermind, I never saw anything.” He shrugs and heads back out the door.
After a few seconds of confusion, Tiger broke the silence.
“So where did you put my fucking knives?”
Bear responded with a punch to her arm.
