Summary
The many-names Wanderer coincidentally found and saved the life of a not-so familiar oni woman on one of his trips back to his "home-land". Is their meeting another of Fate's joke? Or was it Fate's pity? Perhaps, this was completely out of Fate's calculation.
How puzzling. The body that is driven by rage and hatred found it in herself to genuinely care for another. And the youth will watch in astonishment her attempts to keep him unstained. Because that is what children supposed to be, right? Pure and innocent, sheltered from all troubles of this world. For the first time ever, someone promised him to shoulder all the evils of this world so that he could smile without a care.
How ridiculous. The fear, the fury, the hatred are all hers, while he needed only but accept her protection, that naive hope, along with the blind love that born out of her guilt. For whom is she willing to sink this deep for again?
How laughable. Until the very end, she didn't realise the lotus she so cherished had withered long ago.(Bonus chapters are in second-person perspective. It is recommended to read all bonus chapters, and it is HIGHLY recommended to read at least fifth and sixth bonus chapter to understand the plot).
