“I love you.” Nakamura says it all. Her eyes stare with doe, they stare with genuineness. Nothing about this feels like a joke, and Huh Yunjin doesn’t know how to take it.
“You- you can’t say that,” she whispers, in denial. “There’s people watching, Zuha. The world hasn’t quite fully adjusted to-“
“HUH YUNJIN. I love you,” she slams her fist on the table without a second thought, chuckling after. “Through the pattering cold, through the heat of the moment, say you won't change. Say you’ll stay forever in bloom, even through the snow. Bathe me in spring sunshine, through the fall and winter. You’re deserving of everything, Huh Yunjin, the comfort that I bring.”
And (she) says, “I love you” twice.
ALSO
Just like how the moon rambles on to me, all and only about the sun, I ramble on to it, all and only about you, Huh Yunjin.”
“I love you, Nakamura Kazuha,” she blurts out.
“Hm?” A smile creeps up her face. Like so, Huh Yunjin follows suit.
“I love you, Nakamura Kazuha.”
And Huh Yunjin says, “I love you” twice.
