Summary
Kenny McCormick, now much older, reflects on certain things and feelings that are new. He's been able to suppress a sex-filled life, has gotten over the fact that no one remembers when he dies, and has gotten to know the Elder Gods. These new feelings are comprised of wanting to be there for someone without it just being purely for sex. Basically, he wants to finally settle down and be a proper boyfriend instead of a few nightstands kind of guy. Being Mysterion every other night is his only outlet until now. Because now, he realizes someone he feels relaxed with, someone who really deserves better and to be protected.
His friend Butters focuses on the present due to his mind blocking out horrible traumatic events as a child. He expresses himself much more behind closed doors as Professor Chaos and decides he's done running instead of fighting. He and Kenny are still good friends, but he wasn't expecting to be asked out on a date. And he's asked out by the one guy who has had so many other people ask him out instead!
The only downside for the two is the fact that they don't know the other is their arch-enemy during the nights. It's actually pretty easy being nice to a bitter boy like him.
