🌬 Sanemi 100% keeps all of Genya’s A+’s and hangs his report cards on their fridge
🌱 Genya is a great plant dad, and has slowly built a mini botanical garden in their apartment. If he’s too busy with school or studying, Sanemi diligently takes care of his plants.
🌬 Genya slowly began to build body dysmorphia and insecurity when he noticed his gym progress compared to Sanemi. Sanemi always makes sure to check up on him and let him know he’s going great. Uzui and Rengoku always hype Genya up when they see him.
🌱 Genya’s love language for Sanemi is to cook him meals or pack them both lunch before they head to Kimetsu Academy.
🌬 Genya once bought fake piercings and tattoos as a prank and told Sanemi he went alone to get them done. To his surprise, Sanemi was more mad when Genya told him he went by himself. Sanemi later told him he’d be ok if he got stuff done, but he would have to come with Genya.
🌱 Sanemi hates needles with a burning passion. The only way he can get his blood work done is if Genya or Giyuu holds his hand.
🌬 There have been more than a few times people have mistaken Sanemi for Genya’s dad based on the way he acts. The Hashira find this adorable.
🌱 Baby Genya’s favorite activity is to build pillow forts and have sleepovers in them. On rare occasions, Sanemi will allow this in their apartment and will allow Genya to invite his friends. This includes the Kamado siblings, Inosuke, Zenitsu, Senjurou, Muichirou, Kanoe, and sometimes Kotetsu.
🌬 Genya was caught one time sneaking back home after he and the Kamado squad went out to see a concert of a singer Sanemi disapproved of. Sanemi almost grounded him for a month, but reluctantly softened the blow when Himejima and Giyuu convinced him to be less strict.
🌱 Genya noticed how young toddlers seemed to fear him because of his appearance, which broke his heart and his self-esteem. Sanemi noticed this as well.
- One day, Kagaya and Amane kindly asked Sanemi if he could babysit their quintuplets for a day while they go out. Sanemi adores kids and respects Kagaya immensely, so he had no issue, even declining their offer to pay for his time.
- He asked Kagaya and Amane if Genya could come along since Sanemi doesn’t like the idea of Genya being home alone (overprotective), which they excitingly agreed with.
- Genya was nervous since the Ubuyashiki kids were toddlers. But to his surprise, they all adored him and were so polite and kind. Kanata and Kiriya especially favored Genya.
🌬 When Genya and Sanemi occasionally get into heated arguments, they both separately reach out to consult with Himejima and his wife. This helps the duo solve their issues immediately. They both haven't told Genya or Sanemi this.
🌱 Even though Genya works part-time as a barista along with Sabito and Makomo, Sanemi refuses to let Genya pay for anything when they go out. Whenever Genya does secretly tap and pay the bill, Sanemi E-transfers him double the amount and will haunt his ass until Genya accepts it.
🌬 Ever since he was a baby, Genya has had absolutely no self - preservation when it comes to what he puts in his mouth. There have been too many times Sanemi has screamed and pulled out food from his mouth that had been dropped. Genya insists the 5-second rule will back him up.
🌱 Sanemi will cover Genya’s eyes and ears if an NSFW scene comes up during movie night. He’ll look at Genya with dismay as if Genya directed the scene himself.
🌬 The Hashira 100% berates Sanemi if he’s too harsh on Genya. They all adore the latter as if he was their own little brother. Giyuu will give Sanemi the cold shoulder as punishment and will spoil Genya in retaliation.
🌱 At one point, Genya was given the ‘Birds and the Bees’ talk from Sanemi, after Genya announced his relationship with Muichirou. They both ended up in tears from the agony.
🌬 1000% Sanemi has given Mui the shovel talk. Muichirou wasn’t too threatened but felt happy since this told him Sanemi greatly cared for his little brother.
🌱 When Giyuu and Sanemi showed Genya their matching engagement rings, Genya immediately started to bawl his eyes out and embraced them both.
