Chapter Text

Monkey D. Luffy finds himself sent back to the past after becoming the Pirate King with his crew. However, since he has already achieved his dream, he chooses to lead a lazy life while still keeping in touch with his crew through Den Den Mushi. Meanwhile, each member of his crew also decides to pursue different paths in their new lives, but they remain loyal to Luffy and always answer his call.

Zoro becomes an instructor at the dojo where he learned swordsmanship, replacing his late friend Kuina. He saves Kuina's life, and she joins Sabo's crew to become a formidable swordsman like Zoro.

Nami stays in her village, while Nojiko joins Sabo's crew after being persuaded by Nami to chase her own dream. They ensure that Arlong is defeated before he can harm Nami's village or her mother.

Usopp decides to accompany his cured mother in their village and support her there, as he feels satisfied with his past adventures. However, he maintains his friendship with Kaya and encourages her to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor on Sabo's ship.

Sanji chooses to remain at the Baratie as the cook, serving the customers and continuing his culinary journey. Despite his decision, he always answers Luffy's call whenever the captain needs him.

Chopper decides to stay on Drum Island and becomes a renowned doctor alongside Dr. Kureha. While he remains dedicated to his island, he is always ready to assist his friends when they need medical help, such as curing Usopp's mother.

Robin, armed with the knowledge of the future, joins the Revolutionary Army after Luffy visits her and offers his support. Recognizing that she cannot live as a normal citizen, Robin decides to use her abilities to fight against the World Government. Luffy fully supports her decision and aids her from his island. Robin becomes Dragon's vice and assumes the role previously held by Sabo in her first life.

Franky continues his work as a cyborg and assists Iceberg with shipbuilding matters. When Luffy visits him and asks for help to rescue Brook from his loneliness in the Florian Triangle, Franky willingly joins. After successfully rescuing Brook, Franky asks Luffy if he can rebuild the Thousand Sunny, fully aware that Luffy may never return to piracy. Luffy gives his approval, understanding the importance of their ship and the bond it represents.

Brook spends his time with Laboon and Crocus at the Twin Capes, finally free from his previous isolation. With Luffy's guidance, he becomes a renowned musician and holds occasional concerts. He fully embraces his identity as the Soul King.

Despite their new paths, the Straw Hat Pirates remain loyal to Luffy and always consider themselves Luffy's crew, the Strawhats.

Although Luffy's second chance at life had initially led him to seek a peaceful existence, it became clear that the world would always demand his presence. His actions in saving his brother Ace and defying the Marines at Marineford only further cemented his status as a formidable force to be reckoned with.

When Luffy calls upon his crew to help save Ace from execution, they all play active roles behind the scenes. Luffy manages to get Ace onto the Moby Dick, and with the combined efforts of his crew, they escape from Marineford with the assistance of Nami's clima-tact, Zoro's swordsmanship, and Luffy's Haki.

Before parting ways, Luffy waves to Ace and the Whitebeard Pirates from a hidden Thousand Sunny, shocking them with his strength and resourcefulness.

He holds Ace's gaze and playfully says, "See you next time," before jumping onto the ship.

The Straw Hats, then, activate the Coup de Burst and disappear from the sight of the stunned Whitebeard Pirates.
