This was a perfect evening. Akito arrived at Rui's home those weekends, and they will be perfectly alone this time. And what can two boys who are dating up to when they're home alone? Of course eat potato chips and watch some movies!
When Rui opened the door, Akito got a bit shocked as he was in some cute blue pajama with yellow stars.
- Welcome, Shinonome-kun! Make yourself at home. - he gave him a smile and took his bag with some food and drinks.
- Huh. Why are you in pajama already? - Akito asked while he was taking his footwear off.
- Because I will go to sleep now and you will go watch this movie alone. - Rui laughed and looked at him surprised. - Oh, you didn't take your pajama?
- Why would I need one? - Akito looked at him confused.
- Do you sleep in your school uniform or something? - Rui's face got as much confused as his. Honestly he wouldn't be surprised if Akito said that he does.
- No. I just sleep in my home clothes. - Akito looked at him and scratched the back of head. He never even thought about having a pajama.
- Hmm. So you're planning to sleep in those clothes you're having now while you're here? - Rui looked even more confused at that point.
- Uhh... - Akito got silent for some time. Well, he didn't think about that at all.
- Hehe. In that case... - Rui reached the closet and took away another pajama, similar to his, but green. - I will borrow you mine. Don't worry, take it. - he handed it over while Akito's face got an extremely surprised expression. But after all he took the pajama and looked back at Rui's smiling face.
- Ugh, alright. Where is the bathroom?
- This way. - Rui pointed, waiting for Akito to go.
After some time the ginger boy finally came back to Rui's bedroom. The latter's face instantly got wide smile on it as Akito looked so cute that he literally wanted to cry. He never thought this handsome guy could look that adorable.
- Shinonome-kun! You-
- Say no more freaking word... - Akito mumbled and sat on the bed next to him. His face went more red than a pack of chips that he took out of bag.
- Heheheh. - Rui just decided to postpone his teasing and take care of food. - I wonder what is this chips flavor-
He didn't finish his speech after he saw what are those chips. This was...
- Eeh? Why did you buy nori chips? - Rui's eyes went wide.
- Because you hate vegetables, don't you? - Akito smiled and took the chips back to the bag. - I just wanted to prank you a little. Don't worry, you won't need to eat those. - he took a pack of normal potato chips out of the bag. Those were cheese flavor.
- I see. - Rui sighed with relief. - It would be surprising if this adorable ginger guy did that cruelty of leaving me without food for the rest of the evening. - his face got the usual devious look. This was no point of return. They will start to fight each other soon.
- Huh? You better keep that to yourself. - Akito could feel his face blushing up to his ear tips.
- Oya? Are you rejecting my compliments? - Rui's sudden question got Akito stunned.
- Rui, I swear to god. - Akito's face got seriously mad and angry look. - I will bring you a bag of lettuce next time. You better stop it.
- I wonder what if I won't. - Rui leaned closer, looking straight into other boy's eyes with his violent smile, and Akito instantly felt an urge to pull a pack of chips straight into his face. But he resisted it. Instead, he took a pack of nori chips, grabbed one and pulled it right into his mouth.
- Mhmfhmfghmf... - Rui got too confused to understand what should he do. But he took his manners and chewed the grossy veggie food, swallowing it with greatest disgust.
- You see what will I do next time you perform that? - Akito waved the pack of nori chips and smiled. He felt himself protected for this evening.
- Of course, Shinonome-kun. You know I won't reject anything you give me. - Rui closed his eyes and smiled, but quickly looked into his eyes again. - Unlike you, who won't take my compliments. - he leaned even more close, making Akito reaching his hand to another nori chip.
- Rui. I will just feed you all this damned pack at this evening. - Akito said with harsh tone and instinctively leaned back, feeling his face going warm from this sudden approaching.
- Well you see, this pack will be eventually finished. What will you do then? - Rui slowly leaned to his face, now it were inches away from their faces. They could sense each other breathes. Akito pretty much understood what will come next, but he couldn't help himself but leaning back more, until he leaned onto the wall. - Oya, oya. It seems like you got nowhere to... - Rui couldn't finish his speech as Akito placed another nori chip into his mouth. He was forced to chew and swallow another disgusting piece of food. - Mhm. I got you. - Rui seemed to become more excited from the proccess itself. Yet he still didn't want to eat another seaweed chip, so he stayed on place and gazed at poor Akito.
It was probably for about a minute before ginger boy finally put away the pack of nori chips with a sigh. He finally accepted it.
- Alright, alright. So you want to kiss, huh? - he muttered and looked away.
- You don't? - Rui asked sadly, making him almost jumping on place.
- Ghh... What? Why wouldn't I want? - Akito's face became worried, he looked into his eyes and noticed him quickly changing his expression to smile. Surely Akito was smart enough to fall into that again. - Argh. Of course you know I want too!
- Then why would you resist? - Rui placed his hand on Akito's carefully. Akito almost took it away instinctively, but managed to calm himself down. He even leaned a bit closer to Rui by himself.
- I don't know. Let's just forget about it. - the ginger felt himself guilty for being that shy and resistant. He realized it was probably hard to handle someone like that. Well, and it was completely true. He felt sudden touch to his back, and after a second he realized it's just Rui hugging him tightly, but still carefully.
- It's okay. You don't need to act in some special way. It may sound silly, but just be yourself, Shinonome-kun. - Akito could feel a slight touch to his hair. - And if you are so shy, it's not a problem for me. It's just part of being yourself for you, and it's totally fine. - Rui placed his hands on Akito's cheeks, and the latter realized that something is happening too late. - I still got you, after all. Hehe. - Rui leaned closer to him, almost touching his lips. But then he just stopped. Akito could take this pause for thinking. Is it really okay to be that shy? Does he kill the mood for Rui? Does he make him feel bad or bored? Well, he wouldn't reassure and making this happen if he was mad. And after all, Akito really wanted to kiss. For a whole day, to be honest. He leaned closer and their lips finally touched. At this moment Akito finally let the anxious thoughts go away. This turned into comfort and pleasure in mere seconds. Akito just couldn't feel any way better, Rui slowly crossed his hands behind the other boy's back. It didn't last for too long as Rui broke it and leaned back to see what's happening on the ginger's face. Thankfully, he saw the happy and much more calm expression. He slowly pulled him in for another kiss, by now for a little bit longer. This time Akito cut it by himself, feeling he needs to calm his breathing from all that exciting experience. If only he could see his funny smile right now. Rui could feel his own cheeks going bright red. He finally saw Akito smiling!
- Ah, Shinonome-kun! - Rui said louder than before. - You look so cu-
- Rui, I swear to god! - Akito placed his two hands on Rui's mouth to make him shut. At this time his face got to previous angry look, though he was feeling like he's going to smile again at any second. But he didn't want to make Rui feeling like he's winning at this situation. He won't lose to this weird purple guy, even if they're boyfriends.
When Rui slowly put his hands away, Akito finally put his own away as well. But then he noticed something. His nori chip pack... is gone? He looked around, but didn't see it anywhere. Of course now he needed to look at Rui's face. But he won't even if you put a gun to his head.
- Hey, you better bring it back. - he said harshly.
- Mmm? - Rui looked at chips pack and thought for a bit. - Maybe I will. You know, you look so cute and adorable in this pajama. I've never thought a grumpy ginger guy like you can look like that. Truly a wonderful sight! I can't resist but feeling an urge to give it back to you to see how much can you defend yourself from being called like that. Heheheheh. - his speech sounded so heartpounding that Akito realized he's going to explode to pieces right now. One more word and he runs away from Rui's home in this pajama. His face went insanely red once more, he looked down and didn't even know what to say.
He felt for the first time that he likes being called cute. It makes him feel... somehow even more special.
- You... Look cute. Too. - he mumbled so silent that Rui could barely hear that. And then Akito just covered his face with palms and screamed silently. - This is so weird! Why do I even like being called like that? It makes me angry as hell... - he felt Rui puts his hand on his shoulder.
- It's fine. Being cute doesn't make you weird or, you know, erasing your masculinity. It's just what it is. If you were grown under a different conditions... Perhaps you could feel more free with that stuff. - Rui gently pat his head. - And it's a pleasure for me to hear that you think I am cute. - he gave Akito a cat-like smile and slowly pulled him into a cuddle. Akito accepted it willingly.
- Mhm... It's hard to think that "cute" could be applied to man as a general compliment. Not a joke, you know. - Akito said and gave out a sad sigh.
- Oh, I understand you completely. - Rui gave him another pat on the head. - I know all this. But you can be as much cute as you feel around me. I always considered you as a cute individual. Your reaction to compliments is something. Hehehe. - he ruffled Akito's hair, making him squirming a little. - You will eventually get used to it if I will continue calling you like that, my adorable goofy ginger. - Rui laughed a bit more louder as he said that and then hugged him tightly.
- Huh? Me, goofy ginger? Are you losing your mind completely? - Akito tried to free himself from the grip, but it's not like he wanted to. Yet he pulled Rui back a bit, only to be hugged even more tightly. Of course he could apply more force to free himself, but this whole situation, it just feels... cute?
- Mhm. You see, you don't even react negatively anymore when I call you adorable. You only react to the last part. Hehe. - Rui loosened his grip a bit, but Akito quickly made it back and hugged him by himself. Finally.
- Yeah. Thank you. You're probably right... I mean, you are right. You goofy purple individual. - he smiled and pulled Rui to his hug even more. The goofy purple individual felt his face going bright red, and the happy look on his face was unbelievable. He almost cried from happiness.
- Shinonome-kun... You grow up so fast! - Rui ruffled his hair carefully and laughed.
- Maybe. Also... You know, we were supposed to watch a movie. It's not like... Not like I want you to let me go. - he stopped his speech as he got stunned by the fact that he needs to come up with something to say, but his mind went empty again.
- Ah, it's absolutely fine. Wait for a bit. - Rui let him go and made himself sitting comfortable, resting on the pillows. - Now, Shinonome-kun... - he took the chips, bowl and drinks, organising it that way so they could easily reach them. - I don't really want to eat something now, I will do a bit later. So I want you to sit between my knees and lean onto me. You are free to choose anything else to sit though. But that could be so cute, what do you think? - he gave him a cat-like smile, waiting for his response. Akito felt his jaw is going to drop. But... It's really just so cute! He smiled and nodded, and then sat between his knees and made himself comfortable. Rui hugged him as he sat, and Akito felt his heart is really going to jump out of his chest. This was heavenly adorable and intimate. He felt warmth spreading across his body, his face went bright red once again. And his heart was full of love and gratitude.
He really loved Rui. And Rui really loved him back. Akito smiled, widely and calmly, giving out a deep breath and closing his eyes for a few minutes while Rui was seeking for a movie they chose before to watch.
- Hey, you know... - Akito said suddenly.
- Hmm? - Rui asked with a bit surprised tone, raising his eyebrows.
- Thank you. Really. You're cool and stuff, you know. - Akito said and shut quickly, feeling the urge to cover his face with palms from embarrassment again. Rui tightened his grip for a bit, and then brought it back to normal.
- Of course. I'm pleased to help you, my adorable goofy ginger. Hehehe. Oh, looks like I just found the movie. - he pressed the button on remote control and put it away, hugging Akito with the second hand.
- Hmpf. Alright, you goofy purple. - Akito took the pack of potato chips and opened it, starting to slowly emptying it.
And then, in the middle of chewing the chips, he suddenly said it.
- Umm.. Rui. I, uhh, I love you. - he muttered and continued to eat. This kinda helped him to calm himself down from all that enormous shyness.
- Heheh. I love you, too. - he gave Akito another pat on his head, then grabbed a small bottle of mineral water and took a sip. - And let's enjoy the movie for now.
Akito have never felt something so intimate with another person. It was something unusual, he was feeling scared at first, but so soft and comfortable it the end. He was having the moment of his life right now. Rui was having completely the same moment. And they both knew they will have a lot of those moments in future. But for now, they will live this moment as much as they can. And, of course, enjoy the movie.
