"Yeah, I'll be there. Alright, love you girls." Medusa said softly into the phone, hearing the reply from her daughters. She pocketed her phone and blinked when she felt someone collide with her back.

"I am so sorry, ma'am! I didn't mean to walk into you, I wasn't paying attention." That voice made Medusa's heart stop, the one voice that was able to get through her tough attitude, a voice that belonged to the only woman who was able to witness the soft and romantic side of her.

Slowly Medusa turned to face the person who sounded so much like her... Her eyes widened and her lips parted slightly as she stared into those all too familiar brown eyes.

25 years ago she lost the love of her life, and 25 years after she was staring right at her. Slowly Medusa reached up and pinched herself, flinching a little at the slight pain.

This is no dream.

She saw the flash of realization and remembrance in the brown eyes she was so fixated on, seeing the woman in front of her step back just a bit before collecting herself.

"Medusa?" The woman asked, her hand beginning to reach up and rest on Medusa's cheek, her thumb lightly smoothing over the flesh. "It's me... will you- will you say something? Please?"

Medusa slowly reached forward, letting her fingers gently brush against the jaw in front of her, feeling every bit of her jaw. Her lips quirked into a soft smile, feeling her eyes begin to well up with tears. "You're as beautiful as the day I lost you..." Medusa whispered, leaning in slowly. Her lips brushed against Elissa's lips, pulling away slowly after a moment.

"That has got to be the most romantic line in the history of romantic lines." Elissa said softly, feeling her cheeks light up. She leaned up just a tad, pressing her forehead to Medusa's.

Medusa chuckled lightly and pressed her lips to Elissa's forehead, taking the shorter woman into her arms. "I missed you, I missed you so much..." Medusa whispered, not even caring that her voice cracked and broke. That wasn't important to her right now...

Elissa smiled softly and closed her eyes, resting her chin on Medusa's shoulder. "Guess the gods decided to take pity on us..." She whispered, hearing Medusa let out a weak chuckle.

"That they did." Medusa whispered back, letting out a quiet sigh. "That they did..."
