    Her name is Cynthia Roth — and for the last twelve years, she’s been this Universe’s one and only Spider-Woman. She had gone through most of the same tribulations and losses as her fellow Spider-People, who she was blissfully unaware of until just last year. That's when she met Miguel O'Hara, Spider-Man of the year 2099. He was brutal — his harsh gaze always seemed to be focused on Cynthia, for reasons unknown to her. He knew a lot more than she did; knew what had to be done, and that he was the one to do it.
