When Albus feels a chill creep up his spine, resting just at the nape of his neck, he knows that any hope for a peaceful night is already gone. That chill soon becomes warmth, the ghost of a body hovering just behind him, soft breaths tickling his neck. He doesn’t move, and neither does Gellert. They’re waiting, daring the other to be the first to show weakness.
