Bilbo hadn't always been this timid. He had been an energetic hobbit, once, full of curiosity and wonder of the lives people lead outside the Shire's border.
But the Fell Winter had come, and it had taken everything from him. All he had was his life, even if Gandalf said he had much more to offer. What could a company of dwarrows want from an outcast like himself?
Join a mute Bilbo as he tries to help Thorin's Company reclaim their home. Actions speak louder than words, and although they can't quite understand him, Bilbo will do everything he can to prove he isn't as useless as his cousins think him to be. He'll show them, and he'll show the rude, stubborn dwarf King, too.
