Welcome to my first submission! Long-time writer, first-time poster.
Background:
I stumbled across the first chapter of this little writing experiment recently and felt inspired by it. It was tucked within a notebook that I used throughout college and substituting, and I reckon I wrote it near the date 4/12/18 judging by the hall pass still stuck in it. Every subsequent chapter has been written recently. Please let me know what you think!Story:
A re-telling of Hades and Persephone's love story, including the abduction, Demeter's depression, Demeter/Persephone reunion from the traditional Greek mythos, with the addition of perspective shifts, Underworld royalty fun-times, and more. While not wholly faithful to the original myth, the story features many nods and references you fellow Greek mythology nerds might catch!
