Even with the gentle rain pouring outside the luxurious room, the little finches’ chirps while sheltering on the balcony awoke Caelus first from his sleep. Golden eyes slowly opened to be greeted at the familiar sight of a pale, muscular, firm chest with his face resting against it. He let out a weak groan from the sore from his bare body, littered with hickeys and bite marks.
It definitely wasn’t just any sweet sore; his memories recalled the lustful passion spent in the night here with none other than the person beside him. A rare sight for Caelus to see the beloved Xianzhou Luofu General, Jing Yuan, still in his slumber.
Caelus carefully untangled himself from Jing Yuan’s embrace, mindful not to disturb his peaceful rest. He sat up on a soft silk bed, his mind replaying the moments of their intimate moments. A soft smile tugged at the corners of his lips as he realized how deeply connected they had become.
He reached one hand out to stroke the long white hair that was like Mimi, a mane around his face. Caelus admired how Jing Yuan’s long hair easily flowed through his fingers, marveling at its silky texture.
His hand then moved to caress his left cheek, gently rubbing the beauty mark under his eyelids, reminding Caelus how handsome the General was when he first met through Yukong’s threat to kick the Astral Express out of the ship.
Suddenly a familiar pale arm reached to grab his own and pulled the Trailblazer back onto the bed. The said culprit groaned and buried his head into Caelus’s shoulder.
Caelus couldn’t help but chuckle softly at the General’s sleepy antics. He wrapped his arms around Jing Yuan, pulling him closer and resting his chin on the General’s head. "Good morning, Jing Yuan. Did you sleep well?”
The rain continued to create a soothing ambiance outside, adding to the peaceful atmosphere in the room. Jing Yuan mumbled something incoherent into his marked skin, his hold on Caelus tightening. The latter let out a soft laugh and tried to push him off. “Not today, Jing Yuan. Qingzu has ordered me to ensure you will be punctual for your meeting later.”
Jing Yuan groaned quietly in protest, his grip on Caelus tightening even more, his voice muttered with a hint of playfulness. “Can’t I just stay here with you a little longer?”
Caelus chuckled, his fingers gently running through his beloved General’s hair. “As much as I would love that, you know we have responsibilities. We can’t stay in bed all day. Tempting it is. I promise March and Dan Heng we are meeting to run errands for Pom-pom.”
With a somewhat exaggerated dramatic sigh, Jing Yuan eventually released his hold on his beloved. Both his eyes shut while rubbing them sleepily. “Duty calls, I suppose…. However, could you please grant me a good morning kiss?”
A rare sight to see the Xianzhou Luofu beloved General behave like a spoiled child before the Trailblazer. Caelus returned with an affectionate smile, “Then, I suppose it can’t be helped too….”
Leaning closer, the Trailblazer brushed his lips gently against Jing Yuan’s. Time seemed to stand still as they savored the moment, their connection deepening with each passing second. It was a simple gesture, but it spoke volumes of their love and devotion to each other.
As Caelus was to pull away, he did not realize that one of his lover’s pale arms wrapped around his shoulder, teasingly caressing the bite mark on the back of his nape. The touch made the gray-haired man gasp a moan, allowing Jing Yuan to take advantage and invade his tongue into the familiar warm cavern.
His tongue mercilessly swallowed Caelus’s moans and groans while seeking the other to be entangled. The General maneuvered the young Trailblazer to be under him through the kiss and finally pulled away when he required oxygen in his lungs.
The familiar feline smirk curled on Jing Yuan’s lips, his hooded yellow eyes expressing smug satisfaction and growing lust for his lover. Caelus’s face reddened, and his lips bruised again, panting heavily to remind. “Ge… General, the meeting…!”
“Shh, good things will come for those who wait. Qingzu and my men know better than to be patient.” Jing Yuan moved his head closer until his smirking lips were a breath away from the other, his free hand sneaking downwards to a familiar place that would make Caelus lose all rationale and protests. “Also, I have yet to enjoy my breakfast before the meeting, my dear Caelus.”
