Summary
A new jock bully arrives on the scene to make life complicated for a group of friends still recovering from the social break down of the 11th grade the year before. Now Seniors, Janis Sarkisian and her best friends Damian and Cady are navigating their, mostly, new roles as popular kids. The former Plastics have joined their circle, while peace reigns over girl world. A handsome new varsity recruit, Jason Dean, sets his eyes on Regina and seems to be determined to make her his, by any means necessary. She finds an unexpected defender in Janis, and of course begins to see her in a new light. Or rather, a light she had shut off by force, sarcasm, and by just being a mean girl for a very long time. Janis, meanwhile, finds standing up to a dangerous bully comes with painful consequences. At least Regina, Cady, and the others are there to patch her up.
