A blue star could be seen flying across the sky, with Tradic riding on top of it. Tradic, flying on his star named Boostar. He was spotted by Keith, who was flying the same direction as Tradic.
“Tradic!!” Keith yelled, as he was now close to Tradic.
Tradic looks back seeing Keith waving at him.
“Keith, where've you been? Clutch said he was trying to get a hold of you earlier" Said Tradic.
“Yeah, I had malfunctions and errors to fix and clean,” Said Keith. “Sadly it's still incomplete” Keith added as he pulled out a tablet from his backpack, showing him a photo of an unfinished arm cannon he was making.
“Looks like we're both going to be a little late. Clutch said he's already at the client's location.” Tradic said, speeding up his boostar.
Location: Abandon Airport
“What a sketchy and beat-up place for a meet-up,” Clutch said as he saw his client on the runway.
“This was the only spot where we could meet with no trouble. Sorry for making it sketchy,” said the client.
“Eh, it's fine. You must be Argo,” Clutch said, shrugging off the apology.
“Yes, that'd be me. Where are the other two of your crew?” Argo said.
“They'll be here, just give them a moment.” Clutch told his client as he sensed Tradic and Keith heading towards their direction at full speed.
“Yo, sorry for the little delay.” They both turned to see Tradic and Keith walking towards him."
“So the whole team is here,” Said Argo, looking at the team.
“Yeah, now why do we gotta meet at a sketchy place and not at our place?” Keith asked, looking at the abandoned airport that was behind them.
“Because what I’m about to show you can’t be used around public property.” Argo answered as he summoned a door with a portal inside of it. “This door is a one-way ticket to Peltona Island, where I want y’all three to steal the Golden Ring. This map will show you your location. Argo added as he tossed a map to them.
“And why can’t you do it?” Tradic asked, catching the map.
“Because I got projects that need to be done, and hearing that y’all are the best at doing weird or crazy shenanigan jobs. I say why not see that for myself.” Said Argo.
“Well, we won’t say the best. But, we do know how to get things done in our own way.” Said Keith, chuckling nervously.
“What do we do once we get there?” Clutch asked, getting back to the topic.
“You’ll arrive in a forest, head to the center of the island where you’ll see a fortress on top of a mountain. That is where the Golden Ring is located. The picture of a fortress is on the back of the map. And make sure you're not spotted at all times.” Argo told them.
“Uhh why?” Tradic asked with a confused look.
“To make it short and brief, the people on that island are not welcoming outsiders at the moment,” Argo said.
“Alrighty then, let the mission begin.” Tradic said, jumping inside the portal with his Boostar following behind him.
“It just had to be a portal.” Clutch sighs ,jumping into the portal.
“Time to retrieve that Golden Ring.” Added Keith, flying into the portal.
Location: Peltona Island
Tradic was the first to jump out of the portal, but not paying attention to his surroundings, he fell face forward with his Boostar catching bracing for the impact. Keith flies to the ground beside Tradic, with Clutch slowly gliding down beside them.
“Stupid portals, why can’t the exit be close to the ground instead of opening elsewhere?” Tradic complained as he sat up on his Boostar.
“So this is Peltona island. I gotta say, compared to Zenith Island and Avenue Isle, this isn’t so bad,” Clutch said.
“Yeah, a nice place to relax and chill,” a voice said, walking up to them.
The three turned around, seeing a native behind them. Remembering that they were not supposed to be spotted. Clutch punches the guy in the gut, sending him a few feet backwards through rocks and trees.
“RUN BITCH, RUUUN!!” Tradic shouted as they all quickly headed straight towards the center of the island, with Clutch punching and knocking down everything that was in their way. The three ran until they noticed the forest area that was around them was now slightly cold as the grass was a snowy white color.
“Please tell me that we lost them?” Keith said, trying to catch his breath.
“Seeing how Clutch was punching people or things some minutes ago. Yes,” Tradic answered.
“Hey guys, where are we?” Clutch asked as he now fully paid attention to his surroundings.
Tradic and Keith both noticed as they felt a slight cold air breeze hitting them. Tradic quickly looked at the map
Tradic quickly looked at the map, noticing that the center of the island is called The Center of the Island. And that they’re in The Center of the Island.
“Well guys, this IS the center of the island,” Tradic said, as he showed them the map to the surprise of Keith and Clutch.
Location: Center of the Island
“Wait, so you're telling me that the Center of the Island was a place and not a single spot?” Question Clutch.
“I guess it is,” Tradic answered.
“I figured that part wasn’t going to be as easy as it sounds.” Clutch said as he sat on a nearby rock with his arms crossed as he shut his eyes.
“Hey Tradic, can I see that map?” Keith asked.
“Sure.” Tradic hands Keith the map, with Keith flipping it over as he studies the picture of the castle.
“Y’all stay here while I scout the area.” Keith said as he flew up towards the sky.
Tradic lay down on his Boostar, watching the clear blue sky and clouds to pass the time.
Keith flies above the tallest mountains and trees. He noticed a large fortress standing on top of one of the largest mountains. Looking at the photo in his hand, he smirked as he found the target.
“Hey guys, I found the fortress.” Keith said, flying down excitedly towards them.
Tradic and Clutch both looked up at Keith as they heard his voice.
“You said something?” Tradic asked as he sat back up on his Boostar.
“Yes, I found the fortress. We just gotta go up.” Keith said as he pointed at the sky.
“Alright, let's get this over with.” Tradic said.
Keith grabs Clutch’s shoulders as they fly upwards towards the Hilltop Castle, with Tradic following close behind them.
Location: Hilltop Castle
The three landed right in front of the fortress with the gates already open. They all looked around, seeing the fortress rusty, empty and beaten up.
“If I had a dollar for every time we went to a sketchy place. It’ll be two dollars, which isn’t a lot, but it’s strange that it happened twice.” Tradic said.
“Maybe I should’ve scouted a little more.” Keith said with an embarrassed look.
“At least we’re on the right track. Now let's find that Golden Ring and be on our way.” Said Tradic, walking through the open gate.
“I don’t like this. Something feels odd.” Clutch said as he and Keith followed Tradic.
“What do you mean?” Keith asked.
“This fortress, it just feels odd,” Clutch told Keith.
The three walked through the front gates, seeing the ground looked even more beaten up and torn. The gate closes behind them, catching them off guard.
“Intruder alert, intruder alert.” A robotic voice could be heard around the fortress.
“Dang it, it has a security system.” Keith said, looking around him.
“I knew my suspension was right. Show yourself!” Clutch shouted, pounding his fist together.
“Those who dare come to this fortress for the Golden Ring. Shall be erased.” The robotic voice said as a bunch of zombies popped from the ground.
“HOLY SHIT!!” Tradic said, jumping off of his Boostars. “Welp, they’re matching the theme of this fortress.”
“Eliminate trespassers who dare try to steal the Golden Ring.” The robotic voice said, with the zombies following the voice’s orders charging at Tradic, Clutch and Keith.
Clutch punches one of the Zombies as Tradic teleports straight towards a large pack of Zombies and easily hits them multiple times. Keith flies up, creating a gust of wind and shoots it at the zombies from the air.
“Yo Clutch, give me a boost.” Tradic said, running towards Clutch at full speed.
Clutch smirks as he grabs Tradic. He spins him around, knocking down a couple of zombies that were near him as he tosses him in the air. Tradic grabs his paintbrush as he signals Keith, who already had a wind barrier surrounding him.
Keith throws Tradic back to the ground as Tradic puts energy in the paint brush slamming it, causing a loud explosion knocking all of the zombies out, with Keith’s wind scattering them away. Clutch jumps above the explosion and wind, avoiding the impact in full.
“Strike!!” Tradic cheered, fist bumping Clutch and Keith, who flew down next to them.
“A small victory is all you will have.” The robotic voice said as the fortress began to shake and crumble.
Keith quickly sets a wind barrier around them as they fly off the ground. They noticed the fortress beginning to glow before it exploded with a ten-foot mech beast coming out of the explosion. The explosion noise could be seen and heard all across the island.
The mech beast looks up, seeing Tradic, Clutch and Keith slowly descending to the ground. It fires a laser beam directly at the wind barrier they were in. The three were laid down right in front of it, with Keith taking most of the damage.
“Intruders who dare try to steal the Golden Ring shall be eliminated.” The mech said, firing rockets at the three of them.
Tradic was the first to recover as he grabs Keith and Clutch, teleporting all three of them out of harm's way. Clutch wakes up seeing Tradic running and teleporting away from the mech beast.
“Tradic! Throw me at it!” Clutch yelled, getting Tradic attention.
Tradic nodded; spinning Clutch around before throwing him at the mech beast with all of his strength. Clutch pulls his arm back and punches the mech beast a few feet backwards.
“Damn, this thing is going to be tough.” Clutch said as Tradic teleported beside him.
“I set Keith on top of a tree. He got hit by the blast the most, but he’ll be fine.” Tradic said, focusing on the robot in front of them.
“Alright, let's do this.” Clutch said before dashing at the mech. Tradic followed after as they immediately threw a flurry of punches and kicks at the now recovering mech beast in all directions. Their attacks dent the Mech Beast, but not quite damaging the Mech Beast.
The Mech Beast spins around, hitting Clutch multiple times. Tradic runs up trying to save Clutch, but the Mech Beast stops as he shoots a laser beam at Tradic.
“Shit!!” Tradic teleports behind Clutch then immediately teleports them away from the Mech Beast.
Keith
“Ouch, that blast hurts.” Keith said, now waking up after recovering from the laser beam. He notices Tradic and Clutch both fighting the Mech Beast. Knowing that those two could handle themselves against the Mech Beast, he quickly and quietly flies back to the destroyed fortress.
Keith flies above the destroyed fortress, surprised to see all parts of the fortress are destroyed with a destroyed hole coming from the ground. Keith flies down the hole as he lands in a lab.
“Woah, amazing!” Keith said in excitement as he saw blueprints of mechs and weapons on the walls.
Keith looks around, but is shocked to see a map and blueprints of the Mech Beast that Tradic and Clutch were fighting. Keith grabs the blueprint, surprised to see that the Golden Ring is inside the Mech Beast and charging it as a backup mode. He was about to fly back to the battlefield, but he stopped as he had a different plan in mind.
“It’s time to get to work.” Keith said as he pulled out his tablet.
Location: Center of the Island
Tradic and Clutch both continued to rush in at the mech beast in opposite directions, but the mech beast guarded itself up as a bunch of rockets rapidly came out of its arms. Tradic ready himself to teleport him and Clutch, but a mini tornado spins the rockets around, sending them back at the mech beast.
“Keith!?” Tradic and Clutch both looked behind them, seeing Keith behind them.
“The Golden Ring is, it’s inside that mech charging it.” Keith said, surprising Tradic and Clutch. “I need you two to hold him off while I charge this.” Keith added, pulling out an arm cannon. Tradic and Clutch both nodded, rushing towards the Mech Beast as Keith charged up his new cannon.
The Mech Beast charges at Tradic and Clutch, but Clutch stops it with his fist and knocks it backwards. Tradic follows it up as he runs around the Mech Beast hitting in all directions. The Mech Beast slams its robot fist to the ground, stopping Tradic’s movement as it grabs him and slams him down like a ragdoll.
“Keith! What's taking so long!? Hurry up and fire that thing!!” Shouted Clutch.
“OK, just give me a minute and make sure you're not in the crossfire.” Keith said, aiming the arm cannon at the Mech Beast.
“Make it count.” Clutch said, once again charging at the Mech Beast.
“Ready to eliminate the target.” The Mech Beast said, throwing Tradic through a tree as it charged a laser beam.
“Sorry buddy.” Clutch said, upper cutting the mech beast, sending the beam upwards towards the sky.
Tradic quickly passed Clutch, kicking the Mech Beast a few yards away from them. The Mech Beast recovered as it immediately fired a laser beam at Tradic and Clutch.
“Tradic, Clutch move!!” Keith yelled, ready to fire his arm cannon at the Mech Beast.
“Boostar!!” Tradic Boostar flies by picking him and Clutch up as it flies them up to the sky.
Keith's blast completely evaporates the Mech Beast laser beam and directly hits it in the process. The beam goes straight through the Mech Beast, blowing it up to pieces.
“And that's that,” Tradic said as he and Clutch landed next to Keith.
“Awesome! it worked!” Keith said, taking off the arm cannon.
“So this was the weapon you were talking about?” Tradic asked, looking at Keith's new arm cannon.
“Yep, I also found a lab under the fortress and behold I found a bunch of unused tech just lying around.” Keith told Tradic, showing him a bunch of unused tech from his backpack.
“Yo guys, is the ring he was talking about?” Clutch said, looking down at the Golden Ring that was lying in the robotic rubble.
“That's the ring.” Keith said, running to Clutch just to get a closer look.
“That's it, money, here we come.” Tradic Said, picking up the Golden Ring from the robotic rubble. Tradic teleported the three back to the abandoned airport.
Location: Abandon Airport
“Why did you teleport back here?” Keith said, immediately already recognizing the location.
“Good, your back. I assume the mission was a success.” Clutch and Keith both turned around seeing their client there.
“That's why, and here you go Argo.” Tradic answered, tossing Argo the golden ring.
Argo catches it and looks at it in amusement. “So it is real, looks like y’all do get things done.”
“Oh, we’re surprised too, from fighting zombies to a robotic beast. We weren't expecting any of that.” Clutch said, reminiscing about their fights towards the end of the mission.
“That wasn’t in the record books. Oh well, the job is done and the money is already deposited. Farewell, and it was a pleasure meeting the three of you.” Argo said after leaving on a teleportation device.
“Well that was eventful,” Tradic said.
“Next time, how about we make sure we know half of what we’re doing,” Said Clutch.
“Y’all wanna get something to eat to blow all of this over?” Keith asked.
“YES!!” Tradic and Clutch said simultaneously.
The three ate out and chilled on Zenith Island, celebrating a job well done.
