It was another annoying day at school for Liam, girls kept bothering him and he kept turning everyone away, unless he was in class with one of the jomies then he'd act stupid so the girls would fuck off (cause he didnt wanna blantly shove them off cause they would make fun of him for having 'absolutely no rizz'). Liam sighed as his last period was about to end. It was a class he shared with Henry, they always hung out after this school day as they both had the last class togheter. Sadly they weren't seated togheter so they couldn't bicker about stuff. It was actually history class, which both Liam and Henry hated.
Finally, the bell rang, Liam walked up to Henry as he was seated closer to the door. When he was about to say something, the teacher both called their name. Liam sighed, annoyed again, they both walked up to the teacher and she begun.
"I'm really sorry for keeping you guys here for a bit longer, but I needed two people for this. I have some stuff in the staff room I need you boys to get." Liam was having a bad day already, but he knew better then to say anything, especially since it was this teacher.
"Sure miss, what do you need?" Liam said after taking in a breath. She begun explaining all the different materials she needed for next lesson that she wasn't able to carry herself due to her age and her being disabled. The boys nodded and Henry headed out first, and when Liam was about to close the door behind him, the teacher called out.
"Oh! And Liam, the staff door is broken and can't be open from the inside, so please remember to keep it open when both of you are inside." Liam noted the information and nodded, finally closing the door behind him and groaning.
"Ughhh.. Dude I have had a really bad day and now this too.." Liam complained as they made their way to the staff room. Henry patted him on the back and snickered a bit.
"If it makes you feel better, I fell face flat in the hallway today." Liam couldn't help but chuckle when he heard that, making Henry playfully punch his shoulder, which made him stiffen a bit.
It's not that he hated physical touch, or was uncomfortable with it. He did didn't know why but whenever Henry hugged him, nudged him, or any other kind of physical touch, he felt his cheeks ever so slightly getting warmer. He was straight (of course), so he used the excuse of being sensitive, which wasn't exactly wrong. He always flinched whenever anyone made any physical contact with him, but with Henry it was different. He couldn't exactly pin point why, so he kept brushing it off. He quickly shook his head to snap back to reality and they continued talking about their experiences from today.
When they finally made it to the staff room, he took out the keys the teacher has given him, and opened the door. He went in first to look for the stuff, but then remember about the door. He was about to tell Henry to put something inbetween the door, but as he opened his mouth he heard a

The door closed. Liam quickly turned around and he almost yelled out of frustration, he wasn't mad at Henry, why would he? He didn't even know. He was mad at himself, because he didn't tell Henry about it earlier. He scolded himself in his head, and Henry must've noticed something was up with the way he was staring.
"I'm sorry dude, I forgot to tell you that the door is broken and can't be open from the inside. I'm so stupid oh my fucking god." He put his head in his hands, the urge to scream was clawing at the back of his throat, but he stayed silent. He hated closed spaces, and Henry knew that. Before he realized it his breathing got quicker, and Henry was there, comforting him, He stood next to Liam and rubbed circles in his back, calming him down. He always appreciated that even Henry knew when to not joke around and just help his friend. Liam calmed down after a while.
"..Thanks.." Liam smiled weakly, looking around the room, he really hated closed spaces.
"I know this is really not the ideal room for you, especially cause we're stuck here for god knows how long." Henry said, that didn't make Liam feel better, he was about to say something but Henry continued. "But at least we're in this togheter man." He smiled at Liam.
"Yeah, you're right... the teacher will figure it out sooner or later.. right?" He said as he collected himself. Henry nodded, taking out his phone and noticing there's no signal.
"This room is seriously a curse!! I can't even call for help." Henry said, putting his phone away. Sure he could call 911 or something like that, but he doesn't feel like they're in any actual danger, unless nobody gets them out.
"Can't even continue my anime.." He fake sniffled, making Liam choke out a laugh, he put his bag down and sitting down on the floor. Henry walked next to him and slid down the wall so he was sitting on Liam's right next to him.
They sat for what Liam checked to be half an hour, he had been playing some offline games he had on his phone, totally zoned out and he had no clue what he was doing. That was until he felt a weight on his shoulder, immediately stiffening, he stayed frozen for a second, before hearing slight snores coming from the other. Liam opened his phone camera and flipped it so it was turned to his direction. He then moved the phone so that he could see what Henry was doing without actually moving.
And boy did Liam almost die on the spot. Henry fell asleep on his shoulder and he was trying really hard not to move. He was also trying to not have a gay panic. After everything seemed to calm down for Liam, he noticed from the corner of his eye that Henry was moving, definetly through his sleep as he was still snoring, Henry raised his hand in some sort of reaching out, then dropped it.
Right on Liam's thigh.
He jumped from surprise, making Henry slide off his shoulder and land on his lap. His hand quickly went to cover his mouth, staring in disbelief.
'What the fuck just happend?'
He did the only thing he thought of, capturing the moment. Somehow Henry was still sleeping with his head on Liam's lap. He turned his phone on and went to snapchat, he only did it to add text to the video, since there was no signal to even send the video to anyone (Though he would later to his private story which Henry wasn't in due to half of those stories BEING about Henry). He recorded a quick video of him covering his face and then flipping the camera to the green haired sleeping on him, he flipped it back and just stared at the camera in disbelief. He finished the video and captioned it: "WHAT RHE ACTUL FUCKB IS THISSSS IM FREKSIFN OUT" and saved it to his camera roll.
He put the phone down and just stared down, his legs were starting to ache, but he didn't care. He didn't dare move, not wanting to wake Henry up (even though he's a really heavy sleeper). He just stared down at his hair, thinking about how it actually kinda looks like lettuce (Jake keeps saying that to annoy Henry). He also thought about playing with it, but immediately discarded that idea, scolding himself for even thinking that.
But... it looked like Henry took good care of his hair, to Liam's surprise. It looked fluffy and Liam couldn't help himself. He reached his hand and gently placed it on top of Henry's hair, staying still to see if he was still asleep. When he got no sign of Henry being awake, he let his hand go further into Henry's curls, and boy was he surprised.
Henry's hair felt really soft and nice to the touch, is what Liam thought, He wanted to pull away, it felt weird.. Henry was his friend, why did he have to catch feelings for him. Henry is straight, and he thinks Liam is aswell.. But in all honesty, he's known he's been gay since 6th grade. Something didn't sit right with him seeing how he found no girls actually pretty and only boys in his class. He's had boy crushes before, but they never lasted as long as the one right now. Henry has been his friend since forever, he realized his feelings for Henry at the end off reshman year, but stayed quiet, and still is quiet about it because all Henry does is talk about girls. Liam plays along with the 'liking girls' part, even though they gross him out. The only girl he could consider an actual friend was Lia. She knew about Liam's crush after he accidently outed himself to her (but to be even she said she was lesbian herself, and Lia says they're the wlw and mlm duo, to which Liam approves of course). But he knows how to fake, so he doesnt think any of his other friends know. Back to Henry's hair, which Liam has been playing with for the past 5 minutes, he brushed through his hair, wrapped some strands around his fingers etc.
Liam had one free hand, so he reached for his phone and recorded another video on snapchat, showing his hand playing with Henry's hair, the video goes on for 10 seconds, and Liam thinks it's long enough. He typed a caption with one hand: "HIS HAIR ID SO SOFTTT OKFGG IM FOONG MENTAL" he couldn't care less about the typos. He wrote another text: "if he saw this i would literrsly kms i swearrrr" and saved the video, turning his phone off, putting his free hand in Henry's hair aswell.
He then realized how much time has gone by, and they still haven't been found. He really wanted to go home, but after all.. He was here with Henry, which was fine. He just hoped someone would find them soon. He figured everybody must've left the school already, but the lights were still on, so maybe there's still hope. After what felt like another hour, Liam found himself drifting off to sleep aswell, finding Henry's hair really relaxing to play with which made him fall asleep.
Henry woke up a while later, opening his eyes to see Liam's converse that he oh so loved wearing. It caught Henry off guard, almost immediately sitting up, but feeling something in his hair. He reached up to shove it off, but realized they were hands, not just anybody's hands, but Liam's. He felt himself blush a bit, wondering how this even happend. He must've fallen asleep and Liam let him place his head on his lap. But that didn't make sense to Henry, Liam was very sensitive to touch and easily made uncomfortable by any. He shifted himself so that his head was facing up, first seeing the ceiling, but then a sleeping Liam, who was breathing calmly. Henry couldn't help but stare. Liam looked peaceful, Henry thought, which made him blush the moment he realized it. He turned his head away in embarrassment, he started getting Liam's hands out of his hair, which woke him up.
"Huh- Oh! Uhm- sorry man." He quickly pulled his hands away, looking embarrassed. Henry couldn't help but giggle, which made Liam look at him a bit confused, with a cracked smile of his own.
"You're fine, if you enjoy playing with my hair you could've just said so." That made Liam gulp, confused on how Henry's so unfazed with all this. Then Liam remembers, he only sees him as a friend. Liam felt a bit on edge with the whole situation, fidgeting with his hands. Henry took notice of it. He was about to say something, but Liam did so first.
"So, how is it going with Lia?" He asked mindlessly, he knew Lia was lesbian, but Henry didn't, and he found it amusing yet a but hurtful how he kept fighting for her love even though he was right there. Someone who's never pushed Henry away, unlike Lia.
"Man, terrible!! She's still pushing me away." To which Liam laughed at, harder then usual. Henry looked confused, saying in a annoyed tone (which he put on): "Stop laughing at me you asshole!!" He said as he playfully hit Liam's shoulder, which made Liam stop laughing.
"It's just funny. You know, she isn't gonna magically start liking you after any of those acts that you do." He said, hitting Henry with the sad reality. "Plus, and don't tell anyone this. She's into girls, so your chances are at 0." He laughed again after seeing Henry's expression.
"My jaw is litteraly DROPPED!" Henry exclaimed dramatically. Making Liam burst out laughing, Henry joining right after. They laughed for a while, before calming down.
"Well, you know there's always others out there." Liam started, Henry was about to reply but Liam continued. "Maybe go for someone that shows interest in you or the same things you like?" Liam suggested, hoping he'd catch the hint.
"But like what other girl likes what I like!" And catch the hint he didn't. Liam wanted to shake him by the shoulders violently and slap him across the face many times, but he decided against it and instead he face palmed himself.
"Don't be like that." Henry said with a pout. Like what? Liam thought, trying to tell Henry its him he should look at him the way Liam looks at him? How he should realize the way Liam feels about him?
"Henry." Liam said, getting Henry's full attention. "Have you ever thought about.. I don't know.."
"A guy?" Henry finished the sentence, making Liam nod after hesitating for a bit. Making Henry turn his head at the wall, Liam followed, looking there aswell. "Yeah.. I have..." He said, making Liam eyes lit up. "Since we're already on the topic, I'm pretty sure I'm omnisexual." He smiled akwardly, Liam was a bit surprised, but he still liked girls, while Liam...
"Thanks for telling me, I'm.. actually gay." Now that caught Henry off guard. His mouth fell open and he turned to Liam in disbelief
"WHAT!" He yelled, making Liam cover his ears. Henry was absolutely flabbergasted. "You're gay!?" Liam couldn't help but laugh, more like cry laugh. He felt his lungs closing up on him from the reaction. Henry was quick to notice and grabbed Liam's shoulders. "I don't mind!! It's okay! I was just surprised! It was honestly unexpected.." At that moment Liam just wanted to kiss him so bad. What?
"Dude, if you've been gay this whole time then damn you really know how to fool people into believing you're straight." Henry said, making Liam chuckle. "Do the others know?" He added, Liam shook his head no. Henry nodded in understanding.
"Henry.. can I tell you something-"
"That you like me?"
"Huh-"
"I'm not that dumb, ever since you mentioned a possibility of there being a guy.. it became clear."
"Oh. I'm sorry-"
"Don't apologise man, who says I don't like you either."
"What?"
"You heard me, you bafoon.. Lia was.. actually a cover up."
Lia.. Liam... oh god.
"Henry.. I'm sorry for not realizing it sooner."
"Dude, don't worry, it's not like I haven't figured you like me just now.. I had my suspicion but, yeah."
"I see, well we like eachother so what now."
"You're so akward and shy when you're in loveee~!"
"Shut up man!"
"Nah, you shut up."
"Make me-"
And he did, Henry cupped Liam's face and kissed him. It was Liam's turn to be absolutely flabbergasted. His eyes widened, but he quickly leaned into the kiss, closing his eyes. The kiss felt like absolute heaven. To both of them, Liam wasn't a great kisser, but he knew how. And Henry,, seemed to know what he was doing, which geniuenly surprised Liam a bit. After theh pulled away, they just stared at each other, Henry moving his hands to hold Liam's. He felt his cheeks getting warmer, waiting for something to happen. When it wasn't, he spoke up.
"Where'd you learn to kiss like that?" He laughed slightly, Henry making a fake insulted face.
"I have experience, you know. Can't say the same for you though!" He snickered, making Liam embarrassed.
"It's not my fault I'm into guys and none want me." He said with an annoyed tone.
"Wrong, there's one." Henry corrected. Making him even more embarrassed.
"Stop that man.." He said with a shaky voice, he felt so many emotions at once. He wanted to cry, laugh, smile, scream and more.
"Explains why you're so sensitive around me~!" Henry teased with a large smirk on his face.
"Dude! It's not like that!" Liam's eyes widened, knowing damn well it did mean that, but he didn't wanna admit it.
"Hehe sure!" Henry responded, giggling. after a while they both calmed down, and Liam started.
"So, what are we?"
"Whatever you wanna be man."
"Be my boyfriend?"
"Let me think..."
"Dude."
"Yeah sure!"
Liam was then pulled into another kiss, this one being a longer one then before. Liam didn't want to pull away, but he found it difficult to breathe, pulling away without thinking. Henry only laughed at him.
"Need to work on your stamina man."
"Shut up.."
Henry only laughed, getting up and reaching a hand for Liam to take. He did, and got pulled up into a warm hug. Liam was a bit surprised at first but accepted it full on.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
They had to stay in that room for another 5 hours before they realized someone was patrolling the area, they banged on the door and someone let them out. They were so glad it was over, but at the same time.. this was a day they would never forget.
