Work Text:

College life had thrown Catra and Adora together as unsuspecting roommates. Sharing a cramped dorm room meant their lives were intertwined, but their hearts were yet to align. Catra, with her quick wit and smirking charm, couldn't help but be drawn to Adora's infectious enthusiasm and dazzling smile.

One day, Catra entered their dorm room to find a mysterious note tucked under her door. She unfolded it, reading the words that made her heart race: "Catra, the one who lights up my world, your presence is a constant source of joy.Your eyes are such a view" This was so corny, Catra thought to herself but she knew that whoever it was, she wasn’t interested her heart belonged to Adora.

Meanwhile, Adora discovered a secret message hidden in her backpack. It said: "To the person who makes my days brighter, your smile is my sunshine but you’re a little dumb but enough to make me giggle."

Both Catra and Adora were intrigued and convinced that someone else in their classes must be the secret admirer. Determined to uncover the truth, they embarked on a mission to deduce the identity of their mysterious suitors.

Catra: "Adora, I think I have a secret admirer! I'm going to keep an eye on Scorpia. She's been acting kinda weird lately."

Adora: "That's funny, Catra. I have a hunch it might be Bow. He's been acting all fidgety and staring in my direction during lectures."
Catra : Okay but Glimmer is obsessed with him… so I’m pretty sure it’s not him”
Adora just had to know while Catra was trying to make sure it wasn’t Scorpia

And so, their days were filled with covert glances and subtle investigations during classes. They observed Scorpia and Bow, convinced that one of them must be the secret admirer. Little did they know, their assumptions were far from the truth.

Catra: "Adora, Scorpia just smiled at me again! I'm telling you, it's definitely her!"

Adora: "No way, Catra! Bow just stumbled over his words when he saw me. It has to be him!"

Their efforts to uncover the secret admirer only fueled their mutual attraction and the tension between them grew stronger with each passing day. Yet their hearts remained oblivious to the truth that lay right in front of them.

Finally, on a sunny afternoon, fate intervened. Catra and Adora found themselves in the campus library, seeking solace from the chaos of their search.
Catra just finally was unable to take the absolute confusion that Adora had.

Catra: "Adora, maybe we're going about this all wrong. What if our secret admirers are right in front of us?"

Adora, her gaze softening, looked deeply into Catra's eyes.

Adora: "You mean... it's you? You're my secret admirer?"

Catra's heart skipped a beat, her voice barely a whisper.

Catra: "And you're mine? Adora, I've been falling for you this whole time.Ever since you spilled juice on me and offered to do my laundry yourself . It showed how selfless you truly are and I fell for that "

In a tender moment of vulnerability and understanding, they embraced. Their lips met in a gentle kiss, sealing their newfound love.

As they pulled away, laughter and relief filled the air. They realized that their journey to discover their secret admirers had led them right to each other.

From that day forward, Catra and Adora no longer searched for answers outside themselves. They reveled in the joy of their blossoming relationship, their adorable, useless lesbian behavior becoming a testament to their love.

Classes were no longer a source of intrigue, but rather a backdrop to their shared journey. Catra and Adora continued attending lectures and discussions, side by side, knowing that the greatest lesson they had learned was the power of love and the beauty of finding it where they least expected it.

If anyone wants to make a prequel I would totally love to read it ❤️
