It was well into the night when Lady Wifi’s alarm went off that another Akuma had appeared. She was barely awake staring at her phone until it was taken from her hand and replaced with a cup of coffee from Bubbler, who told her to take her time and they’ll head to city hall once Lady Wifi is ready.
They were the last ones to arrive and Lady Wifi knows this is going to be fun.
The Akuma is handcuffed thanks to Rogercop, who’s standing guard with Dark Cupid…though Dark Cupid is using his bow to prop himself up and appears half asleep. Actually, most of the Akumas in the room probably would be asleep if it wasn’t for the new Akuma shouting about she’ll be ‘telling on them’ or ‘do they know who she is?’ clearly not if she’s handcuffed and sitting on the floor.
“What do we know so far?” Lady Wifi asks Timebreaker, who had stolen Bubbler’s chair for some reason.
Timebreaker startles awake - looking around for a moment - before answering. “Uh, her name is Anti-bug and apparently the mayor’s daughter.”
“Mayor?” Copycat’s question cause everyone to look at him as he enters the room with Evillustrator following closely behind. “Last I check, our leader is a teenage girl with a Wifi connection.”
“We could always allow Mr. Pigeon to take over?” Lady Wifi suggests, gesturing to the Akuma in question who’s laying face down on the ground with a few pigeons sitting on his back. “I’m sure everything would work out.”
Copycat rolls his eyes and plops down into his chair - which is in between Stoneheart and Stormy Weather. However, Stormy Weather had moved to take over Timebreaker’s spot which left her own chair own; Evillustrator ended up stealing it.
“Why am I being the only one punished?” Anti-bug said, angry and very much confused. “You should be punishing Vanisher too! If it wasn’t for her then I wouldn’t be here!”
That got everyone; Dark Cupid crouch down after almost falling onto his own face when his bow started leaning forwards. “I do you mean, you’re the only one in this room?” his question actually is answered when a vase is suddenly broken.
“When did that vase get added?” Stormy Weather asks, leaning over to Timebreaker. “I thought we agreed to not add anything like that because of Stoneheart.”
Timebreaker leans over as well. “We did.”
Turns out there are two Akumas which is just great for after midnight and everyone is so tired. Vanisher has the cuff put on since they wouldn’t be able to see her otherwise; just until Evillustrator wakes up again.
They felt a bit bad since there have been a lot of demands from everyone lately. From new apartments to buildings to little things that make Anti-Paris just a bit more alive.
And all of that is wearing Evillustrator down.
This is why none of them stop Evillustrator from using Copycat as his own personal pillow. Copycat went stock still for a few minutes - eyes wide, stiff, and toothpick almost falling out - before pleading for a bit of help but none of them wanted to be the Akuma that has to wake Evillustrator up again so they left the cat to suffer.
Anti-bug and Vanisher were confusedly watching this whole exchange.
Until Bubbler walks around the table and shakes Evie up, asking for some kind of clothes for Vanisher. Evie barely stay awake as he made them.
Lady Wifi gathers up the clothes and pushes them into Vanisher’s arms. “Go get change and then we’ll figure this out.” No one has the patience for this. “And I suggest you hurry because we are all tried and willing to throw you two into jail until morning.”
Vanisher runs out of the room while Anti-bug scowls.
“You can’t do that!”
Lady Wifi pushes a finger into the new Akuma’s chest and glares harshly at her. “I am running on zero sleep and have to deal with twenty-two other Akumas, I am more than willing to throw you in jail until we have the time to deal with you.” Anti-Bug steps back. “Don’t test me.” Lady Wifi takes her seat as Vanisher comes walking back in.
It’s just a hat and a simple sundress that doesn’t fit for the winter months that are setting in. Stormy Weather doesn’t understand why she can’t keep Anti-Paris warm. There are theories being thrown around but the First Ten haven’t had the chance to sit down and sort them out quite yet. (It could be that Anti-Pairs has a proper weather system now but they can never be too sure).
“Now, we are pleased that you two only fight one another but it’s late and everyone is trying to sleep,” Lady Wifi kept her voice level while staring the new Akumas down, “which means that I want you to also go to sleep. We have a temp apartment set up for new Akumas and that’ll be where you’ll stay until a room in the actual apartment building is ready.”
“And when will that be?” Anti-bug ask.
Lady Wifi looks away from her to Evillustrator and then back again. “Whenever Evillustrator wakes up which isn’t going to be until tomorrow so Rogercop can you take them to their room.”
There are a lot of grumbles and protests as everyone heads out of the room. Copycat managed to wake Evillustrator and the two head out after everyone.
Bubbler and Lady Wifi are the only ones to not have left.
“This is going to be so much fun,” Bubbler said. He looks quite close to falling asleep again. “Let’s hope that neither of them is going to be a problem.”
Lady Wifi stands and offers a hand to Bubbler, who takes it. “We just have to wait and see, I guess.”

It’s been a couple of days since Anti-bug and Vanisher arrived, no one has been able to sleep with hearing those two fighting at all hours. Lady Wifi thought they would settle and sort themselves out but not even pulling them in their temp jail helped them; Evillustrator refused to leave his home at the edge of Anti-Paris because of the two so they haven’t been able to do anything for the city.
Another meeting was called after a week had passed and none of the council members look like they got a wink of sleep. Lady Wifi, Rogercop, and Pharaoh are the only ones that are somewhat awake while the rest are different degrees of passing out.
Timebreaker is already out and using her brother as a doorstop so her chair doesn’t spin.
Mr. Pigeon is back on the floor with his pigeons around him.
Copycat is underneath the table as if he can still hear them and using the table as some kind of shield.
Dark Cupid and Stormy Weather are playing cards but it’s clear that they are neither cheating or don’t know how to play the game.
And poor Stoneheart keeps accidentally waking himself up every time he nods off.
“We can’t keep going like this,” Bubbler said after he has taken his seat after coming from somewhere. “Anti-Paris is going to be destroyed at the rate this is going.”
Lady Wifi smacks her hands on the table while standing up and storming out of the room. (Copycat had woken up and smacked his head against the table while Mr. Pigeon’s pigeons suddenly started freaking out). She went out of the building and to the park next door where Vanisher and Anti-bug are fighting.
She pulls her phone out and swipes out two pause icons which quickly attach themselves to the fighting Akumas. Lady Wifi stands in between them – giving each of them a look – before stepping back to hopefully get her point across.
“You have two options: you both stop fighting and move on with your lives whatever that may mean to you or I can leave you paused for an undetermined amount of time.” Neither Akuma could really express what they want to do but Lady Wifi doesn’t really care right now. “Play nice.” She set out two play icons to override the pause icons.
The minute Anti-bug and Vanisher were unpaused they went right back to fighting.
So, Lady Wifi sent out two pause icons again before walking away and back into City Hall where she took a seat at the table, folding her hands together, and acknowledge the council.
“Now, we’re here to discuss adding the Eiffel Tower or not.”

Guitar Villain and Reflekta’s show went amazing and everyone had a grand old time. Lady Wifi and Bubbler were heading backstage to speak to the two of them about making this event a permanent thing when Lady Wifi caught sight of Anti-bug and Vanisher sitting with Horrificator and Stoneheart (who had just come off stage from playing the drums).
Lady Wifi smacks Bubbler in the arm; “remember when those two would fight all the time?”
“Don’t remind me but it was pretty funny when you froze them for a week, really taught them a lesson.” Bubbler kept walking and getting Lady Wifi to follow. “They never fought once after that and Anti-bug surprisingly is actually nice to hang out with as well after that.”
Lady Wifi is just glad that they don’t have to deal with any more fighting. Even when Volpina showed up, those two were the first to try and stop her from taking over Anti-Paris. Maybe it’s because Volpina remind them how they were when they arrived or what but the help was great and there wasn’t as much damage as they thought there was going to be.
“Hopefully, we never have a repeat of those two again.”
