Work Text:
141 on a leave day, Soap managed to drag them all downtown for a night out.
Price and Ghost siting on the booth while Gaz and Soap went to the bar to get them drinks. More drinks that is. They had a couple already, nothing to get them drunk yet, hence Soap on the bar yelling what he wanted.
Ghost looked around, taking in the place and the people, never one to like crowded places, so he couldn't just relax.
Price was still nursing his whiskey without a care in the world, watching the youngsters dance and flirt. Refreshing compared to his day to day duty. Price had been telling him to relax a bit, but hell it was not in him. He scoped the place again, till his eyes landed on Soap. With his back to him, Soap was talking to Gaz leaning over a bit until some random fucker, stopped close to them and stroke a conversation.
Gaz and Soap turned to him, but kept close, leaning on each other shoulder. Dude was wearing a neon shirt that hurt the eyes even from afar. They talked and talked, and Ghost could see the guy moving from feet to feet, laughing, showing off.
A shit show, if he had something to say about it.
Price said something and he answered, starting a light conversation with the Captain. When he looked back to the boys, Neon guy had his hand on Soap's arm, head thrown back laughing. He could still see Gaz leaning on Soap's shoulder while he also laughed. Neon guy then leaned between them, getting very, very, close, to yell his new order to the
poor overworked bartender.
What got Ghost attention though was his hands. Both of his hands. One on each of the boys waist.
It would look better if the guy was bigger and taller, but he was just the same height as Soap. Or that was just his mind trying to find faults in the guy, who knew.
Orders given, Neon guy never leaned back into his previous position, he stayed close, hands still on Gaz and Soap's hips.
Then, then! He leaned even closer to fucking whisper something into both of their ears.
Simon slammed his cup a bit too strongly on the table. Looking away, and trying to maintain his conversation with Price.
It was none of his business. None. Absolutely none.
He looked back just in time to see Soap looking at him. And wink. Neon guy was too close still whispering in their ears, hands still on their hips, but all he saw was Soap's wink at him. At Ghost, that is, not Neon guy. Fuck Neon guy.
Soap turned and said something, just as Gaz pulled him closer and shook his head. Soap looked over again and smirked. That devilish expression he always had whenever he was about to strike chaos. Normally associated with a big explosion. He'd be dammed if it didn't do something to him. Ghost sucked in a breath, sharply.
Price asked if there was something wrong.
Yes! There fucking was something wrong! Not his business. Not his fucking business!
He gave price some random answer and bottomed up, just in time to see Soap shake his head again and lean over Gaz. Kyle pulled him flush against his body as Soap turned his back to the Neon guy. That did it. The fucking idiot took the hint and left. Thing was. Now Ghost had the perfect view of them both. Bodies glued together as they murmured something. Gaz looked up and their eyes met. Without breaking eyes contact he lowered his mouth to Soap's ear and said something, letting lips touch it lightly.
Soap moved over him, and Ghost swore he could feel it like it was his own body there.
It. Was. Not. His. Business.
Turn away. Break eyes contact. Do something! Soap turned a bit, still inside Gaz arms, to glance over his shoulder at Ghost.
Fucking hell.
If that wasn't the hottest thing he'd ever see, he was a clown fish.
NOT HIS FUCKING BUSINESS.
Then why do you keep staring? He asked himself. He hated his mind some times.
"It's fine, Simon."
Price's voice shook him back into breathing again.
"Fuck's fine?"
"All of it. We're off today."
"I've the foggiest idea what you shitting on about"
"Well, that's an invitation if I ever seen one."
"The fuck you're on about, Price!?"
Price shook his head and turned back to watch the boys. Fuck so he also saw the whole shit show. Of course he saw, who the fuck was he kidding?
"I'm talking about how obtuse you make yourself to be."
"What the fuck, Price?"
"If you don't go there, so help me, I will."
He frowned deeper and almost snarled at his Captain. He turned back to the boys and saw, Soap mouthing on Gaz neck.
Kyle still had his eyes on him, but his expression was too much like blissed out for Ghost to turn away again. Gaz murmured into Soap's ear again. Giving it a small bite.
Ghost felt goosebumps all over his body. Fucking hell, what the fuck were they doing!?
He felt more then saw the Captain move beside him, and his hand shot to hold his arm. Almost too strongly.
Fuck if he cared.
"What the fuck is this all about, Price?!"
"Are you really asking that?"
He turned to Price once again and saw the Captain eyes widen a bit.
Shit. He just delivered it.
"If you are uncomfortable with anything, lad, you can just leave. We'll never talk about anything. Like it never happened."
"Fuck you, Price. I'm not uncomfortable. Just... when did all this happened?"
"You're asking if they're having an affair, that's it?"
"Are you? You all fucking, I mean? "
"No."
"Then what the hell is that?"
"As I said, an invitation. I never joined."
"Fucking hell. So they're fucking and you did nothing about it?"
"You mean the regulations? It would be very hypocritical of me."
"Now you gonna tell me you're fucking around too?"
"That was very out of line there, lad. But no, I'm not. Just as I said, I would join. I didn't before because I honestly tried to keep myself out of it, keep the hat. I am your Captain after all."
"That's fucking out of the window the second you see them all over each other then?"
"No. That's out of the window when they decide to open it to both of their superiors."
"What the hell is that supposed to mean? I changed this fucking game you're all playing?"
"Not a game. Stop saying shit you might regret."
Price clasped his shoulder, and Simon noticed he was still holding his arm tightly.
"It's just an invitation Simon. One that both of us want and have been playing dumb about it. We all see how you look at them, only an idiot wouldn't. No regulation on this."
Simon cursed and look up. Gaz and Soap were kissing slowly leaning against the bar, drinks forgotten. The sight caught him unprepared, even if he kind of knew it was bound to happen.
"Fucking hell..."
Arousal slammed him so hard he lost all his air in one go.
Price's hand slid from his shoulder to his neck. He turned to the captain, and John Just sat there, waiting. Their eyes locked and Ghost felt something creeping out from the fucking hell as his dick twisted at the exchange.
He would do this. Fuck.
John pulled him closer, very slowly, letting he decide, and whispered to his mouth.
"Go get them for us."
