    Sara doesn't sleep that night. The joyous sounds of her parents' laughter echo through the house as they celebrate their daughter's return, as if it's not their fault she was gone in the first place. Their carefree conversations pulse in Sara's mind alongside the awful sounds of screaming that she'll never be able to forget no matter how hard she tries. They remain ignorant of their daughter's suffering, they don't care to know about it.
