Chapter Text

Deep in the Mountain of Fruit and Flowers, a red-orange monkey with green eyes, and face markings, punches a tree with his fist making all the coconuts fall, he gathered a few into his arms along with the rest of the fruit he gathered and began making his way back to his mountain making sure not to be seen by the other monkey's. As he walks down his makeshift path he heard chatter and chirping and looks to see the other monkeys gathered around something, curious as he was he couldn't help but stay and listen, getting closer while keeping hidden, then the crowd moved revealing a tall muscular light brown monkey with bright blue eyes, and a handsome face, the red-orange monkey stared at the monkey curious about them 'I've never seen him before' he thought tilting his head "it is so good to see you again young Boqin, it has been too long and you have grown so much" the elder said looking at the other monkey

"Yes, and it's great to be home elder, I have miss you all" Boqin said, all the other monkeys began asking him about his travels and Boqin was happy to tell them all, as he was in the middle of telling about his tale, he spotted the red-orange monkey behind some elephant ear leaves and their eyes met, the two stared at each other when the elder noticed the red-orange monkey "you! Outsider, what are you doing here! Leave now before you bring the demon to us!" The elder shouted picking up a stone and throwing it at the red-orange monkey, the stone hits the monkey in the head making him yelp in pain and dropping a peach before fleeing the scene

Boqin looks at where the red-orange monkey left feeling a pang of hurt for the red-orange monkey, he looks back to the elder and the other monkey's "I'm afraid that's all for now, I'm very tired from my journey, I will finish my tale tomorrow, I promise" Boqin said, the monkey chirped in sadness but all understood and Boqin left, picking up the peach on the ground, he turns around to see the elder and the monkeys distracted and he began following the diraction the red-orange monkey went. As Boqin follows the path he notice that it was going up hill above the trees, when he reached the top he saw the entire view of the jungle "whoa" Boqin said in awe 

"What are you doing here?" A voice said making Boqin turn to see the red-orange monkey sitting under a tree covering the area where the stone hit him "I...wanted to see you, and return this to you" Boqin said holding out the peach. The red-orange monkey looked at Boqin then at the peach, with a bit of hesitation he took the peach "thanks" he said looking away "so, who bribed you to come up here and talk to me?" The red-orange monkey said not looking at Boqin "um, no one bribed me to come here" Boqin said, the other monkey scoffed "yeah right" the red-orange monkey said rolling his eyes "it's true, I came to see if you were alright, you weren't hurt badly were you?" Boqin asked. The red-orange monkey looked back at him stun by what the other monkey said "you....came here one your own" the red-orange monkey said still sunned "yes" Boqin said with a nod, the red-orange monkey slowly turns to him "what's your name?" the monkey asked "Boqin, what's yours?" Boqin asked with a gentle smile "Wukong, and don't worry about my head, it'll heal" Wukong said removing his hand to see that the bleeding had stopped

"Well that's good to hear" Boqin said with a smile, he then looks at the view "it's beautiful, you can see the whole jungle from up here" Boqin said looking at the view "yeah, I guess you can, an it's all mine" Wukong said looking out the distance, Boqin then looks back to Wukong "why do all the other monkeys hate you?" Boqin asked, Wukong frowns "because I'm different, they all think I'm dangerous and that I'll lead the tiger demon to the young ones" Wukong said staring down at the jungle "I mean, they're not wrong, I got this super strength, I'm fast, my fur is a bright color, I have this face marking, and my eyes can turn into this" Wukong said looking at Boqin his eyes black with glowing eyes cat slits 

Boqin stared at Wukong's eyes "those are.." Boqin said staring in Wukong's eyes, "unnatural, I know" Wukong said with a small scoff "amazing" Boqin said. Wukong was surprised by this his eyes turning back to normal "w-what?" Wukong said not believing what he heard "it is, I've never seen anyone have the things you have, I mean think about it, your abilities could be a great use for the tribe, you can stop large rocks from falling onto the young monkeys, and so much more" Boqin said, Wukong let out a small huff "yeah, if only the elder could see that, he always compare me as an insignificant pebble in the palm of the universe" Wukong said looking at his hand "yeah, he always do that to young monkeys when they accidentally break a rule or go out in the light, and don't get me started on how elder praises me, because I scratched the tiger demons eye out" Boqin said rolling his eyes "wait what! You scratched the tiger demons eye out?!" Wukong said in shock "yeah, it's no big deal looking back at it" Boqin said with a small chuckle

"No big...you survived a tiger demon attack and wounded it! That. Is. Awesome!" Wukong said moving closer to Boqin "yeah, I guess" Boqin said with a chuckle "you have to tell me how you did it?" Wukong said, Boqin couldn't help but chuckle "okay" Boqin said and began to tell the red-orange monkey about the time he injured the tiger demon while Wukong listened. After a while Wukong and Boqin began talking to one another, laughing at the others joke and listening to what the other said, soon hours passed and it was sunset "look at that, we've been talking to one another so long that it's now sunset" Boqin said looking at the setting sun "yeah, I guess we have" Wukong said looking at the setting sun too "I guess i better head back down before the others start to look for me" Boqin said standing up "wait" Wunkong said looking at Boqin "can you...can you come visit me again?" Wukong sad, Boqin looks at the red-orange monkey "of course I'll come back, I like spending time with you" Boqin said with a smile. Wukong felt his cheeks heat up at that "I-I like spending time with you too" Wukong said twiddling his fingers, Boqin chuckled "goodbye" Boqin said and made his way down the mountain, Wukong watch the light brown monkey leave touching his burning cheeks and placing his hand over his heart feeling it beat faster than before 'this...feeling is new' Wukong thought blinking

Chapter Text

Over the next few days Wukong and Boqin would always meet together either in secret or on Wukong's mountain talking to one another telling them about their hopes and dreams and what they wish to accomplish, becoming best friends, Wukong was most happy about this because for the first time he has a friend. One day as Wukong was walking around the jungle he spotted a large tree filled with mangoes

"Whoa" Wukong said and climbs up the tree, he picks a red orange mango and sniffs it before taking a bite "yes, ripe!" Wukong said and began picking more ripe mangoes, however he didn't notice a large anaconda hidden in the other tree stare at the red-orange monkey its tongue tasting the air as it slithers closer to the mango tree without getting spotted

Wukong was too busy picking the ripe mangoes to notice the danger he was in "just one more" he said reaching for one last mango "Wukong, look out!!" A familiar voice called out to the red-orange monkey "huh?" Wukong said turning around to see the anaconda staring at him and pouncing towards him "ah!" Wukong exclaimed as he quickly dodges the attack dropping all the mangoes, the anaconda hiss and strikes again

Wukong hops to another branch missing the large snakes jaws, the anaconda strikes again and Wukong dodges again, the red-orange monkey dodges all the anacondas attacks until he lands on the ground, he looks up to see the anaconda about to come down onto him it stops 4 feet above him, he looks over and see the anacondas body tangled in the tree branches

Wukong laughs as he gathers the mangoes he dropped "nice try" Wukong said smirking and left with a smile "Wukong!" A voice called and the red-orange monkey turns to see Boqin running towards him "Boqin, did you see that!" Wukong said going over to his friend "look out!" Boqin said pushing the red-orange monkey to the ground along with himself missing the anacondas attack

The two look to see the snake flying over them and falling into a very deep hole 'whoa' Wukong thought before looking at Boqin who looks back at him, both of their eyes met as they stared at each other their face really close, their cheeks became burning red and they scrambled off each other "t-t-thanks for the save" Wukong said rubbing the back of his head "y-y-you're welcome" Boqin said looking away shyly

Boqin looks back at Wukong seeing some of the mangoes fell out of his arms "looks like you drop some fruit" Boqin said, Wukong looks around and sees some of the mangoes scattered around "great" Wukong said picking up the scattered fruit "here let me help you" Boqin said picking up the mangoes too. Soon one mango remained on the ground and they both reached for it their hands touching in the process, they gasped and they quickly pulled away both of their faces bright red 'he touch my hand!' they both thought. They both quickly stand up not looking at each other and their faces still red "I-I-I better get going before the others spot me, thanks again" Wukong said trying to calm his blushing down "s-s-same with me and you're welcome" Boqin said also trying to calm his blushing down

The two began heading different directions before Boqin turns around "would you like me to visit your mountain tonight?" Boqin asked, Wukong stops and turns to Boqin "s-sure" Wukong said with a small smile, Boqin smiles back and the two walk away in different directions their blush still not leaving their faces. That night when all the monkey's were fast asleep Boqin carefully sneaks over the sleeping monkey's and towards Wukong's mountain, when he reached the top he sees Wukong sitting on a rock looking up at the moon

The red-orange monkey turns to see Boqin there and smiles "hey" Wukong said smiling "hi" Boqin said sitting down next to Wukong and they began talking 

Chapter Text

More days passed turning into weeks and Wukong and Boqin grew closer and closer with each passing day, every day Wukong and Boqin would meet and hang out in secret and at night Boqin would come to Wukong's mountain. However despite being careful the other monkeys began to get suspicious about Boqin disappearing for long hours, and come back by sunset and all the young monkeys want to know where does Boqin go. One afternoon, Boqin was sitting under a tree eating a papaya 

"Boqin, Boqin!" A voice called out making him turn to see three of the young monkey’s trotting up to him "hello little ones, do you wish to hear another story?" Boqin asked smiling at them "no, we want to ask you something" the first young monkey said as the three stop in front of Boqin "sure, what do you three want to know?" Boqin asked taking another bite from his papaya "where do you go all the time?" The second young monkey asked. Boqin nearly choked on the papaya in his mouth when he heard that "w-what?" Boqin asked looking at the three young monkey’s

"You always sneak out somewhere and would come back after the sun goes down" the first young monkey said looking at Boqin "and sometimes you would sneak out at night too" the second young monkey said looking at Boqin "so we just want to know where you go all the time?" The third young monkey asked. Boqin looked at the three young monkey’s trying to think up of something 'What do I do, should I tell them about Wukong, but they'll probably tell the elder, no they wouldn't do that, but I still have to keep Wukong a secret' Boqin thought 

"Well...you see the reason why I sneak off is...well...I'm--" but Boqin was cut off "I know, you're seeing someone in secret!" The second young monkey said making Boqin look at her in surprise "what are you talking about?" The third young monkey said looking at the second young monkey "think about it, Boqin sneaks out all the time, maybe to meet this mysterious monkey" the second monkey said looking at the two other young monkey’s "I thought that he saw a big shiny rock and goes to look at it" the first young monkey said scratching his head "it isn't a rock dum dum!" The second young monkey said and the three began to bicker

Boqin looks at the three young monkey’s bickering and chuckled "alright alright settle down you three" Boqin said calming the three down "now she is right, I am seeing someone" Boqin said looking at the three "I knew it!" The second young monkey said smiling "but you have to swear that you can't tell anyone what I'm about to tell you three" Boqin said looking at the three "not even elder?" The third young monkey asked looking at the adult monkey "not even elder" Boqin said, the three monkey’s looked at each other before nodding at Boqin 

"Well, the monkey that I'm seeing is....Wukong....the outsider" Boqin said, the three young monkey’s let out a gasp "you're seeing the outsider, that's nuts!" The first young monkey said surprised "elder says he's dangerous, unnatural, and leads the tiger demon to the other monkeys" the third young monkey said "he's not dangerous, if anything he's incredible, with abilities like those he could do well for the tribe like stop a boulder from crush one of us, or help gather more food for everyone, he's funny, passionate, amazing, fun, courageous, fearless, doesn't back down from anything or anyone, strong, beautiful, kind, and and...." Boqin paused looking at the three monkey’s who stared at him in awe

"You think he's beautiful?" The second young monkey asked. Boqin eyes widened in realization his face burning bright red "I-I-I ummm, y-y-yeah, I guess he is" Boqin said rubbing the back of his neck with a smile "n-now remember, you mustn't tell anyone what I told you not even elder" Boqin said looking at the three "we promise!" The three said chuckling "good, now let’s get back to the tribe, your mother's must be worried about you three" Boqin said leading the three back to the others. However unaware of the four Wukong was behind the tree Boqin was sitting under listening the whole conversation his hands covering his mouth, his eyes widened, and his face flushed red  'is that...what Boqin thinks about me...beautiful' Wukong thought looking at the direction where Boqin was leaving 

Chapter Text

Wukong hums to himself as he stands over a small waterfall hidden from the rest of the monkeys but all for him, he runs his fingers through his hair and fur, untangling any knots from his fur and hair his mind still on the things Boqin said to him 'Beautiful, me, beautiful, I mean I hardly call myself beautiful, handsome maybe but beautiful' Wukong thought his cheeks bright red. He steps out of the water and shakes it off his body, when all the water was off him he looks back at his reflection in the water 

'Everyone always sees me as an outsider, a danger.....a freak...a monster' Wukong thought staring at his reflection before looking away 'And yet...Boqin thinks I'm amazing and...beautiful' Wukong thought blushing, he can feel his heart fluttering at the thought of him 'Does he like me...more than a friend?' Wukong thought still blushing. He looks at his reflection one more time before walking away, as he walks through the jungle he remembers all the times he and Boqin spend together, talking to one another, sharing stories, telling each other jokes, the more he remembers the faster his heart beats as he pictures Boqin's face, his bright blue eyes, his soft brown fur, his kind nature, his loving personality, and his gentle smile

His eyes widened and he shook his head 'No don't think like that, he's just a friend...right?' Wukong thought coming to a stop at a tree sitting down against it. He let out a sigh as he leans his head against the tree 'I really am in love with him' Wukong thought burying his face in his hands letting out another sigh 

"Is there something on your mind?" A Familiar voice said making Wukong jolt, he turns around to see Boqin standing there "B-Boqin?!" Wukong said surprised to see the brown monkey hanging from the tree by his tail "wh-what makes you think I have something on my mind?" Wukong asked rubbing the back of his neck "you look lost, confused even, like you're deep in thought about something" Boqin said climbing down from the tree "is it that obvious?" Wukong asked letting out a sigh "yes definitely" Boqin said with a small chuckle 

"You can tell me" Boqin said with an encouraging smile Wukong looks back at him before looking away "I-It's nothing" Wukong said looking away "did elder say something about you again?" Boqin asked worried "n-no no, he didn't" Wukong said looking back at the brown monkey "it's...something else" Wukong said rubbing the back of his head. Boqin tilted his head in confusion "something else?" Boqin asked confused 

Wukong looks at Boqin his blue eyes glistening making the red-orange monkey blush, he closed his eyes and took a deep breath "Ithinkimstartingtohavefeelingsforyouandimnotsureifyoufeelthesameway!" Wukong said talking too fast "whoa whoa, slow down Wukong" Boqin said calming Wukong down "now ask me again, slower" Boqin said, Wukong looks at the brown monkey and takes a deep breath "I think...I-I'm starting to have....feelings for you, like...more than friends feelings" Wukong said blushing. Boqin eyes widened at that "a-a-and I'm not sure if you feel the same way because if you don't I-I'll understand if you don't want--" but Wukong was cut off when Boqin pulled him into a kiss 

Wukong eyes widened in shock as he felt lightning course through his body from the kiss,  after a few more seconds Boqin broke the kiss "I love you too" Boqin said with a smile, Wukong stares at Boqin and smiles hugging Boqin as he hugs back, the red-orange monkey feeling so happy 

Chapter Text

One year had passed since he confessed to Boqin and Wukong was beyond happy feeling the one thing he has felt for the first time since he came out of the stone egg, loved. Wukong was sitting on top of a tree basking and the warm sun when he felt a pair of strong arms wrapped around him "hey Wu" Boqin said nuzzling Wukong's neck "hey yourself" Wukong said smiling nuzzling back "you were gone longer than usual" Wukong said smiling at his partner "elder held me up...again" Boqin said looking at the red-orange monkey "let me guess, to introduce you to more female monkey's in the tribe?" Wukong asked smiling

"Yes, and I'm sick of it, courtship season isn't for another two months and he thinks that it's right around the corner" Boqin said, Wukong laughs "if only elder knows about us, he would probably die from shock" Wukong said laughing "yeah he would, and besides none of those females are even close to what you are" Boqin said looking at the red-orange monkey and began kissing him, Wukong chuckles at the kisses cuddling closer to the brown monkey 

"Boqin!" A voice called out making the two stop, the peak over the tree and they saw elder looking around "Boqin,  where are you" the elder said looking around "it's elder, stay here, don't let him see you" Boqin said, Wukong nodded and Boqin climbs down the tree as Wukong stayed making sure not to be seen by the elder monkey "ah there you are Boqin" elder said seeing the brown monkey "do you need me for anything elder?" Boqin asked smiling "I have someone you would love to meet, come come come" elder said grabbing Boqin's hand and leading him away somewhere, Wukong peaks over from the tree, quietly climbing down and following them while remaining hidden

After a while, the elder stops "elder, what is going on?" Boqin asked confused "I would like you to meet someone Boqin" elder said smiling at the brown monkey "Boqin, this is Lien" elder said motioning to a white monkey with slightly long hair, brown eyes, and a beautiful face "um, hi" Boqin said looking at Lien "hi" Lien said with a smile, Wukong peaked over a tree and saw the female monkey 'What is elder doing' Wukong thought remaining behind the tree

"Now you two get to know one another while I go teach the younger monkeys" elder said and left leaving the two monkeys alone, there was an awkward silence "soo, umm...listen I don't know what elder said to you but I think he's just trying to get me to mate with someone" Boqin said scratching the back of his head "you too" Lien said in surprise and let out a sigh "I know, elder is almost as worst as my parents, they introduced me to twenty males in the tribe and I can't stand it" Lien said with a groan "same, if one more female jumps onto me and begs me to mate with them, I might as well give myself to the Havoc demon willingly" Boqin said and the two shared a laugh

"I guess that's the price to pay for being the tribes pride and joys" Lien said with a smile "yeah, it is" Boqin said smiling as well, Wukong watches with slight jealousy and worry "so what do you often do?" Boqin asked Lien "well other than gather food and nuts, I've taken an interest in using plants to help wounds and sickness" Lien said fiddling with her hair "really?" Boqin asked looking at the female monkey "yeah, I even found this plant that can heal you fast, all you have to do is crush or chew on it and place it onto the wound and by the next morning the wound is all healed" Lien said with a smile "that's amazing" Boqin said, soon the two continued their conversation while Wukong listened from behind the tree feel a sense of uneasiness and worry the more Boqin talks to Lien 

After hours of talking they decided to leave going their separate ways, Boqin then noticed Wukong "Wu, what are you doing here?" Boqin asked looking at the red-orange monkey "n-nothing just...wanted to see you were doing with Lien" Wukong said with a small shrug "well we just talked and that's it" Boqin said looking at his partner "is that all...I just felt worried that you...were getting close to her" Wukong said hugging his arms "I'm not, if anything I just see her as a friend, nothing more I promise" Boqin said giving the red-orange monkey a quick kiss, Wu blushes a bit from the kiss "o-okay...I trust you" Wukong said, Boqin smiles and hugs his partner and Wukong hugs back, though the red-orange monkey could not shake the uneasy feeling off him no matter how much he push it in the back of his mind

Weeks passed and Wukong felt more and more upset and unease with Boqin spending a lot of time with Lien, the brown monkey always says that it's nothing and that it's to keep the elder from expecting anything, but Wukong didn't fully believed it the more Boqin spends time with her. One sunny day, Wukong was sitting on a rock eating some fruit when Boqin hops on the rock next to the red-orange monkey "hi Wu" Boqin said nuzzling Wukong's neck lovingly, but Wukong moves away from the loving affection

"Wu what's wrong?" Boqin asked looking at the red-orange monkey "you were with her again" Wukong said not looking at him "what are you--"but Wukong cut him off "don't lie to me, you smell like her" Wukong said not looking at Boqin 

"Wu she doesn't mean anything to me, you know that" Boqin said trying to look at Wukong "well maybe I actually don't" Wukong said giving Boqin a side glare "Wukong, you have to understand that it's only so elder doesn't-" but Wukong cut him off "doesn't expect anything I know, but I feel like that's more of a excuse than a real thing" Wukong said glaring at the brown monkey "well what do you want me to do let elder find out about us and risk you getting hurt or worse!" Boqin said getting mad "you know good well I can defend for myself, I've been alone for years I can handle what they throw at me and every insult elder says to me!" Wukong said with a slight glare

"Well I can't, I can't stand seeing you get hurt by elder and the others, it hurts me when they do that!" Boqin said glaring at the red-orange monkey "and it doesn't hurt me when I see you with Lien, eating with her, flirting together, rubbing her scent all over you!" Wukong said glaring back at the brown monkey "I keep telling you that it's nothing, she means nothing to me, you're the only one for me" Boqin said trying to calm down "am I really, am I really the one for you, or something that you can mess around with for your own enjoyment!" Wukong said angry and upset "Wu please--" but Boqin was cut off "DON'T Wu me, I honestly thought you were different but you're just like everyone else a manipulative, selfish je--!"

SLAP!!!

Wukong's eyes widened as he felt pain blossoming from his left cheek and a strong force that made his head turn, he slowly looks at Boqin with a shocked stunned look never seeing the brown monkey so angry "what...I can't hit you" Boqin said and slaps the red-orange monkey hard again "I did it again" Boqin said and slaps him again and again and again "s-stop it!" Wukong said his voice coming back "stop...alright..I'll stop hitting you" Boqin said then punch Wukong in the gut knocking him off the rock

Wukong gasped for air as he felt more pain from his stomach as Boqin approach him and began beating him "am I like everyone else Wu, Huh! Am I like elder, am I like the other monkeys, am I like the tiger demon, Am I, Am I!?!" Boqin shouted stopping, Wukong panted as his whole body hurt as he lays on the ground "answer me!" Boqin said pressing Wukong's head down hard "n-no...your not" Wukong said closing his eyes "of course I'm not" Boqin said 

"I'm basically all you have, remember that" Boqin said pressing Wukong's head down one more time before leaving. When he was gone Wukong slowly sat up his body battered and bruised blood running down his nose, his body trembled from pain and fear as he stares down at the ground so many things run through his mind 'H-he could've killed me...he could've killed me but he didn't' he thought wiping the blood off from his nose "I-I have to tell... tell..." Wukong paused remembering that he's an outsider "n-no one would hear me...n-no one would b-believe me.....n-n-no one.....will....help me" Wukong said in realization tears filling his eyes 

Later that night, Wukong was on his mountain trying to sleep when he heard familiar footsteps approaching, he laid very still as Boqin lays down next to him and pull him close before falling asleep. Wukong laid still as he felt Boqin's arm around him and let out a small whimper trying to go to sleep

Chapter Text

Wukong stares at his reflection from a small handful of water inside a elephant ear leaf seeing the big black eye on his left eye practically swelling his eye shut, his eyes red and puffy, the dried up blood from his noses and lip, and the red slap mark across his face. More weeks passed and Boqin beatings became often for Wukong almost like a routine, he tries to stop him by fighting back once...it only ended up him being almost beaten to death...so he doesn't fight him anymore, because of that his confidence and self-esteem has lowered drastically, his willpower was nonexistent, making him depressed, skittish, weak, and completely miserable 

He limps away from the leaf and picks up a coconut, he use his strength to poke a hole into the coconut and drinks the water inside it, The cool water relieving his empty belly, he barely eats due to Boqin's beatings and his depression making him more skinny. When the water was gone he prises it open and eats the white meat inside the coconut, just as he took the first bite he felt a strong hand grabbing him by the back of his neck causing him to yelp in shock the white meat of the coconut falling out of his mouth 

"What are you doing?" Boqin asked clutching the red-orange monkeys neck "I-I was just having some fruit" Wukong said trying not to shake "is that all, you weren't trying to escape were you?" Boqin asked gripping Wukong's neck tighter "n-n-no, I-I wasn't" Wukong said as the grip on his neck got tighter letting out a whimper, Boqin growls before letting go "elder needs me for something, go back to the mountain and stay there understand" Boqin said, Wukong nodded and the brown monkey leaves. When he was gone Wukong let out a breath he didn't know that he was holding in, he looks down at the coconut and went back to eating trying to stop himself shaking 

When he finished, he went to his mountain avoiding from getting seen from the other monkeys, halfway up the mountain he felt a sudden jolt of lightning course in his body, then heat flooding into his body causing him to collapse to the ground panting, his entire body felt like it was on fire especially his lower reach "wh....nnng...aahh" Wukong tries to say something but it was like his voice wasn't working 'what's happening to me...I-Is this some kind of sickness...a fever?' Wukong thought trying to lift himself back onto his feet. But his arms were shaking too much and he collapsed back onto the ground 'I can't get up...m-my body won't work' the red-orange monkey thought panting, he could feel his mind growing fuzzy as his body grew hotter and his lower reach began to ache and hurt

Wukong whimpers from the pain 'M-m-my crotch.....I-It....h-h-hurts' Wukong thought whimpering tears forming in his eyes as he chirps. It continued to grow with every passing minute, the red-orange monkey was clearly not conscious nor in his right mind as he lays there panting and chirping, he let out a distressed sob, weak and barely audible 'someone...please....m-make it stop' he thought tears running down his face. Then he smelled a harsh burnt wood smell and opened his eyes to see Boqin standing over him staring at him "what is the matter with you?" Boqin asked as Wukong continues whimpers and chirps, the brown monkey sniffs the red-orange monkey smelling a strong sweet scent of peaches and oranges "you're in heat" Boqin said his face turning red

'I-I-Is that....what's happening to me....h-heat' Wukong thought panting "p-p-please...it hurts...I-I-I n-n-need" Wukong said finally forming some words, Boqin stares down at him and locked him into a kiss, Wukong whimpers as he was kissed harshly his mouth being explored by the brown monkeys tongue, when Boqin pulls away and moves himself between Wukong's legs "I'll make it go away" Boqin said and plunged himself inside the red-orange monkey. Wukong let out a short shout as Boqin instert inside him more tears running down his face 'It hurts even more!' Wukong thought as Boqin began thrusting inside him

Boqin locks the red-orange monkey into another force kiss moving down to his neck, biting and kissing Wukong's neck, Wukong gasps and moans as Boqin thrusts inside him 'it hurts, it hurts so much why does it hurt so much' Wukong thought as Boqin thrusts inside him more. It went on for about 30 minutes until Boqin let out a long groan as he empty his seeds into Wukong, the red-orange monkey letting out a gasp as he was filled with the brown monkeys seed feeling his insides fill up, the brown monkey panted as he looks down at Wukong who was panting as well "I'm not finished yet" Boqin said and went back to thrusting making Wukong whimper and moan again 

After about 3 hours Boqin was finally done slowly pulling out, he looks down at the red-orange monkey who was limp and his eyes were glazed with tears before leaving. Wukong remained laying there blankly staring up at the sky as his heat went away leaving him with a sense of brokenness and sadness, more so than before, he let out a choked sob and curled up into a ball and cries

Wukong was in utterly and complete despair, not only has Boqin continues to beat him but forcibly mates with him as well bringing him more down than he was before, the poor red-orange monkey was in complete misery

In the late afternoon, Boqin let out a long groan as he empty his seeds into Wukong who lays battered, bloodied, bruised, and limply on the ground as he was filled again, the brown monkey then pulls out making Wukong whimper in pain from that along with Boqin letting his hair go and left leaving Wukong lying on the ground. The red-orange monkey laid there on the ground before slowly sitting up, his body was in pain and he was shaking and he let out a yelp when his bruised tail brushed on a rock, he stares at the ground his green eyes dulled and without their shine

He began to get to his feet with the support from his hands and began walking not knowing where he was going, just letting his hands and feet leading him somewhere, stumbling and swaying while limply dragging his tail behind him. Soon he found himself at the edge of the cliff next to the waterfall, he slowly sits down and lifted his head up seeing the entrance of the Havoc demons home from behind the waterfall 'Why...why does everything and everyone hate me...is it because I'm different...is it because I'm cursed...is this what love is supposed to be, to hurt them to no end?' Wukong thought looking at the waterfall before closing his eyes 'I-I...I don't want it...I don't want this kind of love anymore' Wukong thought letting out a choked sob 

He sat there for hours with the sun setting from behind the thick thunder clouds darkening the sky even more, the red-orange monkey stares at the cliff once more before standing up and just as he was about to take a step he felt a hand grip his tail tightly and pulled him back hard to the ground snapping him out of his trance "h-huh?" Wukong said just as Boqin came to his view looking very furious "what...we're you just...about to do?" Boqin said glaring at the red-orange monkey, Wukong was so stunned by what had happened not yet processing what he was about to do "we're you planning on jumping?" Boqin asked still glaring at the other monkey"I-I..I was.." Wukong try to explain but was slapped hard across his face by Boqin knocking him back down to the ground "you we're about to jump were you, you wanted to kill yourself huh!" Boqin said hitting him again

"You ungrateful bastard!" Boqin said hitting Wukong some more as it starts to rain, Wukong cries out as he was hit some more, soon Boqin stops and wrapped his hands around the red-orange monkeys neck "after everything I did for you, after loving your worthless self this is how you repay me, huh!!" Boqin exclaimed squeezing tightly around Wukongs neck, Wukong gasp for air as he tries to get Boqin's hands off him but the brown monkey only tighten his grip around his neck, the more Boqin tightens his grip the more he feels his strength leaving as he gasp for air, his vision began to grow spotty as he was about to loose conscious thunder echoed along with a flash of lightning and in that flash of lightning the Havoc demon stood over Boqin his glowing red eyes blaring down at the brown monkey. Boqin felt a presence behind him and turns around just as the Havoc demon swipes down at the brown monkey knocking Boqin off and away of Wukong, Boqin shouts in pain as he covered his left eye. Wukong takes a big gulp of air coughing holding his bruised neck as he coughs he looks up to see the Havoc demon approaching the brown monkey who was backing away, Wukong felt adrenaline flow into him and he runs hearing Boqin screams before silence

Wukong panted as he ran through the rain, jumping over logs and roots until he finally stopped he looks around as the Havoc demons growls grew louder until he spotted a hollowed log and crawled inside it. It was small and narrow making Wukong curled up inside the log as the rapid footsteps and clinking rings grew louder. The footsteps came to a halt as the sound of growling was heard, The Havoc demon walks around trying to catch a scent, the red-orange monkey covered his mouth and held his breath as the stomping and clanking of rings got closer and closer to where he was hiding, Wukong close his eyes as the havoc demon was right above the log Wukong was in, The Havoc demon growls as he lost the scent and left. The red-orange monkey stayed in that log until the clanking of rings were gone leaving just the sound of rain

Wukong slowly uncovers his mouth taking a breath and slowly peaks his head out of the log seeing that the Havoc demon was gone, when he was sure it was safe he fully crawls out of the log and runs for his mountain. He finally makes it to the top of his mountain and the red-orange monkey was completely out of breath and his body out of adrenaline, he stares up as the rain continues, thunder echos across the sky as his tears mixed with the rain, he let out a choked sob and cries out loudly, his wails getting drown out by the rain 'Why....why am I crying' Wukong thought crying in the rain some more

Chapter Text

4 weeks later:

Wukong stares down at his reflection in a small pool of water on his mountain, seeing the cuts on his lip and eyebrow was healing and the bruises were almost gone leaving just a yellow-greenish marks with a tiny tint of blue. After Boqin was taken by the Havoc demon, Wukong began to slowly heal, getting his weight back a bit, and his nightmares are becoming less and less, though his stuttering remains but it's slowly going away "I-It's almost healed up, just a-a few more days and t-t-they'll be gone" Wukong said with a small smile 

Just then he heard growling and looked over at the edge to see the Havoc demon jumping out of the waterfall and run into the forest, he looks around the jungle to see elder with a group of young monkey’s not knowing the danger "oh no" Wukong said running down his mountain. As he runs he can hear the demon growling and roaring and the sound of the young monkey’s screaming in fear, finally he breaks through a clearing and sees the Havoc demon glaring down at a baby monkey "Hey, p-p-pick on s-s-someone your own s-s-size!" Wukong said grabbing a stone and throwing it at the demon, but the stone bounce off the demon ineffective causing the Havoc demon to turn to the red-orange monkey 

"Oh no" Wukong said as the demon swatted him away, Wukong let out a gasp stunned by the swat, he slowly sat up to see the Havoc demon grabbing the baby monkey and ran off, Wukong growls and follows the tiger demon all the way to the cliff where the Havoc demon jumps through the waterfall, Wukong grabs a coconut and throws it but it was too late "n-no! It's getting away!" Wukong said as he came to a stop "you fool! You think you're some hero?" Elder said as Wukong turn to them "but I c-can beat that thing" Wukong said motioning to the Havoc demons hideout "and save the baby?" One of the younger monkeys said 

"Of course, i-if there's still t-t-time" Wukong said looking back at the waterfall "with what coconuts and stones? Coconuts and Stones are no threat to the Demon of Havoc" elder said glaring at the red-orange monkey "he could get a weapon" one of the monkeys said "ha, from where?" Elder said with a scoff "oh, oh, I know! From the Dragon King" one of the younger monkeys said pointing out to the ocean where a bright light was coming from "y-yeah, the Dragon King" Wukong said looking at the direction feeling something calling him to it "at the bottom of the sea? If you go out there, you will die" Elder said. Wukong clenched his fist "m-maybe, but I g-gotta try!" Wukong said with determination and began running towards the direction "Crazy fool!" Elder called out 'one weapon, coming right up' Wukong thought jumping off the cliff and dive into the ocean and began swimming towards the Dragon King's home

He swims and swims getting closer and closer until he swam up to a large column "wow" Wukong said in awe as the colum began to glow letting out a hum "you t-t-talked?  Wukong said surprised that the column could talk, the colum hums again "you've been w-waiting for me? H-How long?" Wukong asked as the column hums "well, five minutes isn't--F-Five thousand y-y-years?!" Wukong said surprised that this column was waiting for the red-orange monkey for that long. The column glows and hums again "y-you're looking for t-t-the most p-p-powerful being? No way! I-I'm actually on a q-quest for t-the ultimate w-weapon! W-what are the odds man" Wukong said smiling as the colum hums again 

"There's gotta be some way w-we can help each other, i-i-if you were j-just a little s-smaller m-maybe I could--" but just as Wukong touched the column glowing gold words appears on the column as the red-orange monkey felt a surge of something course through his body, a wave of light came off the colum as it began to shrink down until it was the size of a staff, Wukong grabs it and looks at it in awe, he let out a chuckle as he was lifted up to the surface by an eruption of air under him "you're incredible!" Wukong said high up in the air holding the weapon up in the air

Chapter Text

After returning to his home, Wukong stood on the cliff outside the waterfall holding his weapon "look the outsiders back" one of the younger monkey said in awe "he didn't die" another younger monkey said as the red-orange monkey turns to the troop "he got a weapon" a young monkey said pointing at the weapon, elder scoffs "he got a stick" elder said crossing his arms. Wukong looks back at the waterfall and gulps "w-we can do t-this, right?" Wukong asked looking at stick

Stick murmurs as Wukong looks back at the cliff before stepping back a bit, he took a few quick breaths and began running towards the edge stick letting out a murmur and glow "h-h-hold on, what d-do you mean hold ooooonn!" Wukong exclaimed as stick stretch out longer until the end touched the ground bending a bit before Wukong was launched into the air over the cliff and through the waterfall landing in the illuminated cave with a thud "ooww" Wukong said knowing some of his healing bruises are gonna come back, sicks glow and hums "wow" Wukong said looking at stick, suddenly the sound of a baby monkey whimpering echoed through the cave walls and Wukong follows the sound to a huge grotto with a stone throne, light coming out from above, and a bamboo cage hanging above a metal pot with boiling water

Inside the cage was the baby monkey, Wukong quietly crawls over to the pot just as the baby monkey notice him and hoots, but Wukong shushed the baby quieting the baby "s-stay h-here, and k-keep a lookout" Wunkong whispered letting go of stick as the weapon stood up on their own, stick murmurs and glow in acknowledgment as the red-orange monkey jumps up to the cage "just hang o-on" Wukong whispered as he looks over at the cage, he spotted the lock and began pulling it trying to use his strength to pull the metal lock off grunting while trying to be quiet 'come on, come on' Wukong thought, then stick began to glow and murmurs urgently as they heard a growl, they murmurs again hopping over to Wukong glowing red "I a-a-am hurrying" Wukong whispers pulling on the lock, then stick let out a shout "i-i-if you're s-s-so smart, you d-do it" Wukong said and with that said stick flungs to the cage in a swirl of purple and green knocking the lock and chain off the door flung open, the baby monkey gasped and began falling towards the pot but thankfully Wukong caught him using his tail to hold onto the door

Stick lands on the ground with a thud just as the Havoc demon jumps out with a roar his claws out, Wukong gasp and swung the cage forward dodging the claws ans the Havoc demon lands on the other side of the grotto glaring at Wukong with a growl. Wukong gasp as he lands on the other side of the grotto staring at the Havoc demon as the demon jumps into the air forward his fist in the air but Wukong jumps out of the way dodging the Havoc demons jump kick "s-s-stick, where a-a-are you?" Wukong said as the Havoc demon was about to charge again but was hit in the face by stick as they flies in the air in a flash of green and purple murmuring into Wukongs hand, the red-orange monkey gasped as the Havoc demon rub his sore face before glaring at him, Wukong let out a gasp as the baby monkey jumps out of his arms and hid in some bushes away from the demon

The Havoc demon growls showing his sharp fangs, stick hums moving towards the demon "n-not that w-w-way!" Wukong said trying to pull stick back but the weapon pulled him towards the demon and hits him across the face again "w-wait, wh-what are you d-d-doing?!" Wukong said as he dodge the Havoc demons claws, the red-orange monkey tried to run but the Havoc demon grabs him by his tail, throws him up in the air and slams him onto the ground, the Havoc demon tried to slash the red-orange monkey but stick blocks them all and landing a hit across the havoc demons face "Monkey" The Havoc demon said growling "y-you're just making i-it angrier, st-stop stick!" Wukong said and stick falls lifelessly out of his hand

The Havoc demon roars and began attacking Wukong who dodges all of them, he tries to run but the Havoc demon hits him across the face with its rings, knocking him across the grotto "come back s-stick!" Wukong shouted, the Havoc demon jumps toward him its fist in the air, Wukong let out a shout before he was pulled out of the way by his tail just as the Havoc demon slams it fists down where Wukong was. The Havoc demon looks around in confusion before looking up to see Wukong up in the air by stick who had him by his tail, the Havoc demon slashes at him again but the red-orange monkey dodge them all again with stick hitting the demon across the face multiple times, the baby monkey hoots and cheers as he watches

Wukong got to his feet just as the Havoc demon charges at him to attack but stick blocks them all, Wukong eyes perked up in realization "oh yeah! A-Awesome, I-I get it n-now!" Wukong said holding stick with both hands now as he uses stick to block the attacks, he swung the base of stick at the Havoc demon who blocks them with his iron rings both skidding back a bit, Wukong spins the staff with a laugh glaring at the tiger demon, the Havoc demon growls its fist up but was surprised when it saw the iron rings crumbled off its arms. Wukong laughs as he spin the staff, dodging the Havoc demons pounce and hits the demon towards the pot, the tiger demon roars in pain as its rear end lands inside the boiling pot as it tips over the metal pot glaring at Wukong. The red-orange monkey twirls the staff his eyes black with glowing eyes cat slits as he beckoned for the demon to come at him, the Havoc demon still stuck to the pot charges at him "wave b-bye-bye t-to the n-nice kitty" Wukong said as the baby monkey waves bye-bye, with a spin of his staff he hits the Havoc demon under its chin and sent the demon flying out the open roof far away until the demon disappears from the clouds "What?!!?" Elder said in shock as the other monkeys gasped in awe and amazement

Later after gathering the rest of the monkeys into the grotto, all the monkeys cheered at Wukong who sits on the stone throne "Monkey King, Monkey King!" The monkeys chanted as Wukong smiles brightly 'Monkey King, Yes! I like it, it has a nice ring to it' Wukong thought smiling "t-the ultimate weapon for the ultimate hero!" Wukong said feeling pride and excitement "Absurd!" Elder said climbing up to the throne arm rest "you are a tiny pebble, remember?" Elder said holding his palm out before turning to the other monkeys "he doesn't love you, he just wants you to love him!" Elder said making all the monkeys go quiet "you'll never be one of us, you're a selfish, rebellious fool, who will end up all alone" Elder said glaring at the red-orange monkey, Wukong felt an immense hurt by that until stick murmurs and glows in comfort "w-well, I'm not alone, I-I have s-stick" Wukong said with a small smile

"That weapon should be wielded by one of the immortal ones" Elder said motioning to the sky 'if that's true, then why did stick say that they were waiting for ME for five thousand years' Wukong thought, then something about Elder words made him smile "s-so, you're saying th-that i should be a-an Immortal o-one?" Wukong asked smiling "what? No!" Elder said in shock 'they can do whatever they want, i should too if I become like them, no rules, no one telling me what to do' Wukong thought smiling "they'd never accept the likes of you!" Elder said glaring at the rd-orange monkey "I c-conquered a d-d-demon!" Wukong said glaring back "you'd have to defeat a hundred demons to even get their attention" Elder said, Wukong faltered at that "oh y-yeah, I-I suppose y-you're right" Wukong said as Elder let out a scoff "of course I'm right" Elder said crossing his arms, then an Idea struck the red-orange monkey making him perk up "100 demons, c-coming r-right up!" Wukong said standing up holding stick, the rest of the monkeys cheered while Elder stared at him in complete shock

Chapter Text

And the quest begins, Wukong traveled off the island to defeat 100 demons with the help of stick, fighting and defeating demons left and right and during the journey he meets and sees all kinds of new and different things and people he saves, enjoying the freedom he has and the cheers and praise from everyone, even receiving gifts from them, he and stick became close friends during this becoming great friends and partners, his stuttering has also gotten better but he sometimes stutters still

On a hot summer day with the sun at its peak, the red-orange monkey stood at the entrance of the village welding Stick and wearing a long mint green shirt with brown spots, chest armor with a disc guard at the center, brown leather belt with waist cushion, beast heads on the shoulder blades of the armor, greaves on his feet, and one vambrace on his left wrist "99 d-demons down, 1 t-to go" Wukong said smiling as he walks into the village "hello, hero here" Wukong called out looking around for anyone

"I hear you're looking for a hero f-for a demon problem" Wukong called out cursing under his breath for stuttering, he walks up to a building and knocks on the door "where is everyone?" Wukong asked looking around and spotted someone looking at him through the other side of the building, they gasped before ducking away. The red-orange monkey was confused before shrugging, he looks back at the door and forced it open with a swift kick, he looks inside to see sn empty inn "hello, anyone here?" Wukong said looking around the dark inn hearing hushed whispers 

"Names Monkey King" Wukong said walking inside "simian s-savior, t-the legendary demon slayer, and stick m-my trusty magical staff" Wukong said introducing himself and Stick "o-our skills include pole- fighting, punching, kicking, a kick-pole punch, the double kick with or without stick, or the e-ever popular fake kick with a spinning pole" Wukong said walking towards the fire pit inside the inn "Monkey King?" A well dressed man said as he and the rest of the villagers came out of hiding "I've never heard of you" a woman said one hand on her hips and pulled out a rock sugar gourd skewer from her mouth "w-well, I've never heard of you e-either" Wukong said resting stick on a counter before picking up a bowl of rice and began eating. Stick murmurs and glows in agreement

"This village needs one of the immortal ones" the well dressed man said with a smile "not a monkey with a fancy stick" the woman said, stick let out a murmur glowing red as if they were offended 'well this desert area counts as a village' Wukong said trying not to roll his eyes taking another bite of rice "he's just gonna make it worse, get rid of him" the woman said with a scoff crossing his arms "well, thanks for stopping by" the well dressed man said showing the door "s-sir, I don't think that's-" but Wukong was cut off by the door opening and the girl from earlier walks in "he's the real deal folks a living legend" the girl said walking in "I-I am, I mean of course I am" Wukong said sitting up straight "if you got a demon situation, this is your guy" the girl said with a smirk 'huh' Wukong thought staring at the girl "where d-did you even come from kid?" Wukong said looking at the girl "I've never seen her before and I'm the mayors wife, I know everyone" the woman said looking at the girl "you better get to know us, Lin and Monkey King, unless you wanna be demon dumplings" Lin said

The villagers were stunned by this "aiya, okay whisper time" the woman said and huddled into a group "maybe the demon will eat the monkey" the woman said to the two men unknowing that Wukong and Lin hears the conversation "and leave us alone" the old man said holding a finger up "either way, we win" the village mayor said, the woman smiled "oh, I like it, break!" The woman said breaking the huddle and towards the two "brave warriors, my poor dear child was just kidnapped, every rainy season, the horrible fire beast descends down from the far mountains and kidnaps the children of this village to eat them, please you must help us" the village mayor said looking at the red-orange monkey 'fire beast, that'll be a hundred demons' Wukong said putting the empty bowl down as stick let out a shout "a-alright, I'm in" Wukong said with a smirk

"You shall, thank you, thank you very much, we shall reward you handsomely shall you succeed" the village mayor said holding his hand out as a handshake "done" Wukong said taking the handshake, then a roar was heard making the villagers gasp in fear "the fire beast is outside, please don't let it hurt my innocent little child!" the village mayor said begging to the red-orange monkey "don't worry, I-I got this" Wukong said grabbing stick and heading outside, he exits the inn as Lin follows behind him looking fore the fire demon

"Stop, let me go!" A little child voice said in fear "silence or I will devour you!" A demon voice said. Just as Wukong turns the corner where the fire demon was he looks over to see...a little human girl with two buns in her hair, chained to a bigger person covered in ash with two spike hair "ha! I see you, d-demon!" Wukong called out "huh?" The bigger person said confused, the red-orange monkey charge towards them and sung his staff down to the chain breaking it before skidding to a stop "son!" The village mayor called out coming out of hiding "daddy!" The person covered in ash said running towards the village mayor as the two hugged

The red-orange monkey blinks in confusion looking at the little girl before looking back to the villagers hiding behind a house and pointed at the girl with a raised eyebrow, they all nodded confirming that was the demon in their village 'I heard that kids were little demons, but this is ridiculous' Wukong thought looking back at the little girl "stick, y-you know anything about this?" Wukong whispered, stick murmurs as they glow "oooh a g-glamor, figures" Wukong whispered before walking up to the little girl "hey, little girl" Wukong called out making the little girl turn towards him

"So I've been hearing t-that you were causing havoc a-around here" Wukong said placing stick over his shoulders "but I wouldn't, those mean villagers were picking on me and spreading awful rumors about me too" the little girl said making a sad face, Wukong wasn't convinced "yeah, I'm not b-buying that whole cute s-sad eyes look, so why d-don't you just take off that d-disguise of yours and f-fight me like a real demon" Wukong said glaring at her. The little girl looks at him before being engulfed in a small tornado of purple smoke and when the smoke went away it revealed a blue skin demon with black ash covering her eyes, glowing red eyes, glowing orange finger tips, burnt clothes, and purple and black hair stuck upwards moving like fire

She forms a spear and spins it around pointing it at Wukong "how dare you challenge Red Girl, Monkey King!" Red Girl said glaring at the red-orange monkey "what's a Red Girl?" Lin asked as Wukong shrug his shoulders "I am Red Girl! Quake in my presence and bow to my awesome power!" Red Girl said in a disoriented voice "hey Red Girl, y-you leave these poor p-people alone" Wukong said pointing at the villagers hiding "but the kids are the ripest this time of year" Red Girl said before licking her sharp teeth "daddy!" The child said shrinking "so yummy!" Red Girl said flying up in the air

"Okay Monkey King, what's the plan? Are you gonna--" but Wukong stops her "o-okay little girl, I can t-take it from here" Wukong said spinning his staff before flinging himself up in the air towards the fire demon pushing the demon high up in the air "hey, cut that out! Behave!" Red Girl said fire coming out of her nose "hey, y-you're a little scrawny for n-number 100, b-but we'll make it work" Wukong said with a shrug, Red Girl charges forward and thrust her spear at the red-orange monkey who dodges them all with ease, her spins and pulled stick upwards pushing the fire demon back, Red Girl charges again but Wukong dodges it again back kicking her in the face "bad monkey!" Red Girl said with a glare "l-like I care!" Wukong said blocking all her attacks with his staff "d-don't give up now, ha! You're doing great" Wukong said with a smile. Red Girl was a bit out of breath before Wukong attacks her "hey, stop that! Ugh!" Red Girl said blocking his attacks

"Congratulations, t-the Monkey King's last victim" Wukong said hitting the fire demon with his tail "y-you're gonna be famous" Wukong said but then Red Girl bites his tail "ow!" Wukong exclaimed pulling his tail away, the fire demon then hits Wukongs hands causing him to let go of stick a blew a fireball at him "Stick!" Wukong called out falling, Stick murmurs and flies down to the red-orange monkey "goodbye Monkey King!" Red Girl said with a laugh. Wukong screams as he falls until Stick flies down to him and Wukong grabs him, stopping his fall "yes!" Wukong said and flies back up towards Red Girl who let out a yell "frustrated!" Red Girl said shooting fireballs towards the red-orange monkey who dodges them all "Bam!" Wukong said hitting one away

Wukong looks back to see some of the fireballs hitting the the village and muttered a small curse, he digs into his satchel and pulled out four small rain dolls "help t-the villagers and stop the fire w-while I deal with this demon" he said letting the dolls go before flying up towards the demon. The four rain dolls eyes glowed blue, coming to life and began flying down to the village with clouds following behind them, Lin looks up to see the rain dolls circling around the burning building as a rain cloud forms and rains on the building putting the fire out "whoa" she said an awe as she saw them go to another building to put the fires out "eat fire, stuttering loser!" Red Girl said shooting another fireball at him "b-back at ya" Wukong said spinning sticks in his hands making them bigger and bend them at an angle that cause the fireball to reflect back toward the fire demon hitting her

"Do you really think you can defeat me?" Red Girl said glaring at him "nope, I-I know it" Wukong said flying up to her and using his feet hands to fling her spear out of her hands and into the sky, he then holds her with stick as the fire demon struggles, the demon laughs as she spin her head all the way around startling Wukong 'creepy!' Wukong thought, Red Girl then blows fire at him making him let go of stick "Stick!" Wukong called out falling as he was covered in fire. Stick quickly flies down blowing the fire out and catches Wukong "what a team!" Lin said as she and the villagers watched an awe "where did you get that stick? It's fantastic!" Red Girl said in amazement. Stick murmurs and glows to Wukong "g-good idea Stick" Wukong said looking back at the fire demon "you w-want them?" Wukong asked with a smirk

"Yeah, yeah, yeah! Gimme, gimme, gimme!" Red Girl said making a grabbing motion "I-If you can hold it f-for ten seconds, their yours" Wukong said spinning and tossing Stick to the fire demon causing her to spin from the force "one, two.." Red Girl counted with stick spinning her around "four..." Wukong said as he watches "four..." Red Girl said spinning "s-seven" Wukong said smiling "seven..." Red Girl said spinning down to the village "five!" Wukong said landing on the ground safely "Stop it!" Red Girl said as she spins "four...seven...six!" Wukong said watching her spin "one...two...three.." Red Girl counted but Stick shakes her hands off them as she spins, drilling herself deep, deep in the ground

"You let go, and know t-this demon, d-don't let the stuttering fool you!" Wukong called out looking at the hole,, he looks up at the village to see the damage, it wasn't too bad with a few burns but everything looked to be in one piece thanks to the rain dolls. He looks up to see the four rain dolls float down to him "you f-four did great" Wukong said gently petting one of the rain dolls, the four rain dolls hummed and giggled before floating down to the red-orange monkeys hands and going limp, he then looks at stick and cheers with stick murmuring happily and he gave them a high five "one-hundredth d-demon vanquished! Monkey King and Stick reigns supreme!" Wukong said smiling holding Stick "that was incredible! You got her to fall right into your trap, I will learn so much from you" Lin said an awe walking around the big hole as Wukong walks towards the villagers

"Well I'll say it, I never thought you would defeat that demon that easily and leave this village in tack, and you save our son, thank you" the mayors wife said crossing her arms with a smile, the rest of the villagers bowed at Wukong "now that demons gone, let us celebrate!" The village mayor said and everyone cheered as Wukong smiled

Chapter Text

Later that evening after fixing the village up and putting out the rest of the fires, the villagers set up a big party outside the village with lots of food and music playing as well as the chattering from the villagers, the mayor and his wife were laughing and dancing while their son was eating a third plate of dumplings, Wukong watched eating a dumpling with Stick propped up by the table 'this is a really good dumpling' Wukong thought taking another bite of the dumpling, then the music stops as the village mayor stepped onto the stage "my people, for years the fire demon has raided our village and steal our children, but now the nightmare is finally over, thanks to our hero, Monkey King!" The village mayor said 

Wukong quickly finished the dumpling, grab Stick and went onto the stage, the villagers clapping and cheering "t-thank you, thank you" Wukong said smiling "you have freed our village and save my son, we cannot thank you enough" the village mayor said placing a large metal around Wukongs neck, the villagers began to cheer again chanting 'Monkey King!' Over and over making the red-orange monkeys chest swell up with pride "stop, stop this fiasco!" A voice called out making everyone stop and turn to see a dragon demon wearing emperor clothes in a tub that was being carried by two fish demons breaking through the crowd, Lin gasped shrinking away a bit, The Dragon King steps out of the tub and walks towards Wukong "that Stick is mine" The Dragon King said pointing at Stick "y-yours, what do you mean yours, S-Stick belongs to me" Wukong said confused

Stick let out a high pitch shout making Wukong, the villagers, and Dragon King cover their ears "y-you know this c-clown Stick?" Wukong asked looking at Stick "Stick, you've never talked to me" Dragon King said shocked and a bit hurt "w-wait a minute, who a-are you!?" Wukong asked looking at the Dragon King "I am the Dragon King of the East, que the lighting and thunder.." the dragon said just as lightning and the sound of thunder was heard "there it is" The Dragon King said with a smile "oh no" Lin said shrinking back a bit

"And you, little thief, have stolen my weapon, so hand it to me" the Dragon King said holding his hand out "w-what! No, Stick chose m-me,  w-what makes you think t-they want to go with you?" Wukong said pulling Stick away, the dragon let out a hmph "have it your way thief" the Dragon King said snapping his fingers, his two minions charged at the red-orange monkey but Stick glows and pulls Wukong away from them leading the monkey away from them "after him you fools!" The Dragon King said hopping back into the tub as the two henchmen lift it up and began running towards where Wukong left, Lin follows after them

"Stick, w-where are we going?" Wukong asked, Stick glows and murmurs, but then the two henchmen tackle the simian causing him to fall off a steep cliff, they tumbled down the steep hill before being launched up into the air by a large pile of rocks, they soar in the air before Wukong land first standing on the large medal still holding onto Stick as he slide down the hill. Then the two henchmen grabbed each end of Stick "Babbo, I'm gonna get the stick!" One of the henchmen said holding on "Stick, l-left!" Wukong said, Sttick murmurs and stretched their left end out making the pink fish henchmen hit some trees "n-now to the right!" Wukong said and Stick stretched their right end making the blue henchmen hit some trees and a large rock

Wukong turned a corner of the mountain hill just as the Dragon King still in the tub slide next to the red-orange monkey "Stick, darling, it's Dragon" the Dragon King said smiling "t-they're mine!" Wukong said glaring at the dragon "jump in the tub!" The Dragon King said pointing in the tub "t-they only listens to me, scaly" Wukong said with a glare "I don't see a ring on it, honey!" The Dragon King said glaring back before getting hit by Stick pushing the Dragon King back causing him to fly up in the air and land in a tree. Wukong laughs as he continues to slide down the mountain but his eyes widened when he saw a cliff 

"H-Hit the breaks!" Wukong said slamming the right end of Stick down to the ground trying to slow down "f-fun ride, huh?" Wukong said smiling, he hops off the medal and launch the two henchmen in the air see ya!" Wukong said watching them fly in the air before gravity sent them down at the bottom of the cliff "ha ha, the Monkey King reigns s-supreme!" WUkong said twirling Stick. He looks back to see an avalanche coming towards him along with Dragon King "Stick! Catch me!" Dragon King said reaching towards Stick but Wukong quickly pulled them away just as The Dragon King falls off the edge and into the river as the rocks falls off the edge

Stick murmurs and glows before falling to the ground and rolling off towards the edge "gotcha!" Lin said catching Stick before they fall off the cliff, she grunts as she held the very heavy weapon "Dragon King?" Lin said looking ad the edge before letting out a shout of surprise when Wukong leaps over her and lands "f-fear not little girl, t-the villain is gone" Wukong said dusting himself off before taking Stick "W-what's your name again kid?" Wukong asked looking over at Stick picking off the loose dirt and off them "Lin, sir" Lin said with a smile "w-well Lin, see y-you later" Wukong said and walked away "hey, wait up!" Lin said running after the red-orange monkey

Wukong wondered down the dirt road with stick "twenty m-minutes and still n-no invite from t-the Jade Emperor, w-what am I missing?" Wukong said looking at the sky, Stick murmurs and glows "I-Immortality, of course it's right in the name, to become an Immortal one I-I need Immortality!" Wukong said looking at stick "Maybe I can help with that" a voice said making him turn to see Lin standing there with a wave. Wukong let out a sigh "okay, l-look kid, y-you see this" Wukong said holding his palm out as Lin runs close to him "your palm?" Lin said confused "no! I-I mean yes, but no, this h-here is me" Wukong said looking at the girl "okay?" Lin said still confused "and this t-tiny thing is you, u-understand" Wukong said picking up a pebble and place it at the center of his hand "huh?" Lin said still confused "I-I'm the universe hand, a-and you're an insignificant....u-useless pebble" Wukong said realizing that he was sounding like Elder. He shook his head and flick the pebble to Lin who caught it

"Even a tiny pebble can make a big ripple, you know" Lin said smiling, Wukong was surprised by what she said "y-yeah, whatever you say, pebble" Wukong said walking past her "s-so Stick, Immortality, w-where should we go?" Wukong asked looking at Stick, they let out a hum and glowed "r-really huh, b-but how d-do we get there?" The red-orange monkey asked, Stick hums again "a graveyard?" Wukong said surprised 'spooky' Wukong thought looking at Lin before looking at the stone rocks with carved words on it 'come on Wukong think, match up the letters you've seen before to the words on the rocks' Wukong thought looking at the rocks

"Can't read?" Lin asked making Wukong look to her "o-only a few sentences a-and words, but I-I can figure it out" Wukong said blushing from embarrassment, Lin smirks and walks in front of him "graveyards that way" Lin said pointing in the direction "o-obviously" Wukong said crossing his arms 'I was close to figuring it out myself' Wukong thought, then Stick hums "no, no, no, no, no, w-we don't need her" Wukong whispered to Stick walking into the direction of where the graveyard was but Lin heard him "they want me to come, doesn't they?" Lin said smiling "j-just go home kid, t-this isn't suited for k-kids" Wukong said giving her a glance "I can't go home, there's trouble back there, a-and it made me do some things, things I've probably shouldn't have done" Lin said looking down ashamed

"D-did you kill s-someone?" The red-orange monkey asked looking at her "no!" Lin said shaking her head "oh" Wukong said slightly relieved that the kid didn't do murder "I just wanna do big things someday, like you" Lin said looking at the red-orange monkey as he continues to walk. Stick murmurs glowing red as they wack Wukong on the head "ow! I-I know I--" but he was cut off by stick as they murmur more, giving the red-orange monkey a lecture "n-no I...y-yes but..." Wukong said dodging Stick from wacking him "H-how much reading could w-we possibly need?" Wukong said, Sticks murmurs more still glowing red 'that much?!' Wukong thought as Stick murmurs louder "Fine, I-I said fine!" Wukong said letting out a sigh as Stick murmurs on last time "so Lin, y-you coming or what?" Wukong said, Lin perks up and runs over to the red-orange monkey "b-but know this, I-If you're going to stay, y-you need to do exactly w-what I say, got it?" Wukong said glancing to her "got it, so, where to next?" Lin asked catching up "oh, y-you'll see" Wukong said

Soon they reached the graveyard where it had dozens of headstones covered in moss, the two watched as a blue orb floats into the graveyard and into the stone pond, Wukong and Lin walks to the stone pond "in there, us, how?" Lin asked looking at the red-orange monkey "w-with this, t-there like an all-access VIP pass, a-any realm, any dimension, even t-the Land of the Dead" Wukong said looking at her "but, you're not dead?" Lin said pointing at him "a-and if all goes well, n-never will be" Wukong said looking at her "okay,I-If we're gonna fit in, w-we gotta dress t-the part" Wukong said grabbing a handful of ash from the incense holder "h-hold your breath" Wukong said blowing the ash in her face. Lin coughs a bit "what the heck?" Lin said waving off the smoke "not heck, h-hell" Wukong said slamming Stick into the pond making them glow and a portal to appear "h-hold on" Wukong said tossing Lin onto Stick making her let out a shriek as she slide down, Wukong grands another handful of ash and throws it on himself before jumping and sliding down Stick 

Lin screams until she reached the bottom letting Stick go as she lands on her butt with a groan, Wukong reached the bottom and jumps off Stick landing on his feet as Stick shrinks down to normal size "y-you alright?" Wukong asked as Lin picks herself up "y-yeah" Lin said rubbing her sore butt "good, n-now try t-to keep up, this I-Is no place to get l-lost" Wukong said walking to the glowing entrance, Lin follows him "are we even suppose to be here?" Lin asked feeling nervous "a-absolutely not, Isn't It g-great" Wukong said smiling "s-see the day you're s-suppose to die is r-recorded in the Scroll o-of Life and Death" Wukong said as the orbs float above them towards the light "i-if my name should somehow g-get crossed out, then no death registered a-and guess who's immortal, me!" Wukong said walking in but stops "one more t-thing, die in hell s-stay in hell, so don't die, okay" Wukong said looking at her, Lin gulps and nods "okay" Wukong said walking inside 'this is a bad idea' Lin thought as she takes a deep breath and walks inside as well

When they reached the other side, they saw hundreds if not a thousands of lanterns floating above and a line of white ghost of those who passed "next!" A booming demon voice called out "a-act like a ghost" Wukong Whispered to Lin, she held her arms out and made 'woooh' noise hopping 'oh great, now she's giving ME chills' Wukong thought using Stick to float forward pushing past the ghosts with Lin following behind "Next, release form" A demon king with a pot on his head said before letting out a groan "you brought a live chicken to the underworld? No living things allowed!" The demon king said slamming his stamper, Wukong looks at the ghost that held the live chicken "we really should go now" Lin said scared "w-watch and learn pebble" Wukong said floating to the ghost. The chicken let out a squawk while Lin let out a wince as Wukong float back blowing the feathers off his hand "that's better, pit of infinite agony" the demon king said slamming his stamper down, rolling up a scroll and handing it to the ghost "fourth floor to your right, next!" The demon king shouted 

Wukong and Lin floats up to the demon "yes, g-good morning, I'd like a q-quick glance at the Life and Death Scrolls" Wukong said looking at the demon king "release form first" the demon king said looking at the red-orange monkey "I-It's in my other armor?" Wukong said with a sheepish smile "Rejected!" The demon king said as a ghost push past them, Wukong groans as he looks at the demon "Well back to the world of the living" Lin said about to walk back to the entrance "Not. s-so fast" Wukong said grabbing her head and pulling her back "as my assistant, your first duty.." Wukong said spitting in his hand making Lin groan "is to be a d-distraction, so I-I can find those scrolls" Wukong said wiping the ash off her face "t-trust me" Wukong whispered to her before pushing her away "she's alive, h-here in hell! You're alive, how scandalous!" Wukong shouted making the demon king look at her, Lin looks around in fear but Wukong gave her a wink "and you cut in front of all these people?" Wukong said placing his hands on his hips

Lin eyes widened in realization 'ooohh' she thought realizing what Wukong might be planning "no living thing allowed!" The demon king said slamming his stamper down. The ghost begins to surround her "trust me" Wukong whispered in her ear before leaving. Lin looks to where Wukong left and think of something "uh, uh I...I'm not...I couldn't be more dead, I'm a fresh corpse" Lin said looking up at the demon king rolling her eyes up and sticking her tongue out "how did you die?" The demon king asked narrowing his eyes at her "u-ummm...I was accidentally poisoned! See the man sitting next to me was meant to be the one poisoned but you know matching cups, so I drank the poisoned tea and that's how I got here" Lin said hoping the demon buys it. The demon king looks at her "hmmm....okay, you're in, chamber of accidental deaths" the demon king said slamming his stamper down "fifth floor down the hall" the demon king said rolling up the scroll and handing it to her

Lin gasp and took it before running to where Wukong left, she spotted another door with light and hops down the huge rocks, she let out a gasp as a ghost fly past her, before letting out a scream when she found Wukong next to her "hi" Wukong said smiling "you abandoned me, in the middle of hell, what happened to don't get lost?" Lin said glaring at the red-orange monkey "hey I-I told you to trust me, a-and things worked out, besides I told you t-that you need to do e-exactly what I say right" Wukong said. Lin groans as she crossed her arms "yes, but still you shouldn't do that" Lin said looking at Wukong "a-alright alright, the sooner you find my scroll s-so I can cross it out, t-the faster we'll get out of here, come on" Wukong said heading to the big door and opening them "this should be easy" Wukong said until they saw that the room has over a million scrolls "I-I stand corrected, at least I-It's alphabetical" Wukong was as he and Lin walked inside

Wukong and Lin looks at the piles of scrolls "what's your family name?" Lin asked looking around "d-don't have one, I was born f-from a rock" Wukong said with a shrug "a rock?" Lin said confused "m-more of a rock egg, the scrolls l-list your family history, I-I must have parents, right?" Wukong said looking at her "well I guess, everyone does" Lin said giving him a smile "ha!" A voice said making them stop as the demon king runs up in front of them "looking for your scrolls?" The demon king said with a laugh "my scroll, why does he have my scroll?" Lin asked confused "you don't belong here, outsiders" the demon king said taking the golden hat off and putting thee scrolls in there before putting it back on "time t-to defeat demon 101" Wukong said getting into a fighting stance "mighty brush, stamp of doom! Open!" The demon king said writing words in the air before pushing them, then clones of the demon king appeared "t-through 115, clones" Wukong said as the demon kings clones looked at him. Then Stick murmurs to Wukong "I-I can, really, cool!" Wukong said plucking strands of his hair and blows creating clones of himself "Monkey King reign supreme!" The clones said their eyes and Wukong's black with glowing red slit

Soon both the demon kings and Wukongs clones began to fight as Lin backs away, soon Wukongs clone managed to knock the gold pot off the demons kings head and kicks it to another clone who bounced it around laughing, the demon king tries to grab it but the Wukong clone moves away hits the hold pot onto the demon kings head "Shaolin soccer!" Wukong said kicking the gold pot towards the real demon kings face, knocking him away. He lands with a thud right to where Lin was hiding and spotted her "wait, time-out, I'm not a part of this" Lin said backing away "nobody's on the bench!" The demon king said chasing her. A Wukong clone runs as he kicks the gold pot kicking it to the real Wukong as he hits it with his staff "duck k-kid!" Wukong called out as the gold pot hit the demon king in the face knocking him out and making the two scrolls fall out

Lin quickly grabs them "got 'em!" Lin said but then she let out a yelp as she was buried by more scrolls, she pops up at the top and dugs around "Monkey, I got 'em, this one is mine" Lin said holding her scroll, but her smile fell as she reads her scroll "hey, f-focus!" Wukong said snapping Lin out of it and she open his "what's i-it says" a Wukong clone said blocking the brush "a-about my family?" another Wukong clone asked as Lin looks it over "it says...you don't have one" Lin said looking at him Wukongs eyes went back to normal at this "I-I'm all alone" Wukong said feeling his heart ache with this news. Then she un-rolls the scroll more reading it "wait wait, there's more" Lin said making Wukong perk up at this "it says.....you're pregnant!" Lin said surprised "I'M WHAT?!?!" Wukong and his clones said at the same time completely shocked "it also says that their twins, both boys" Lin said looking back up at him

Wukong quickly snaps out of it "give me that scroll!" Wukong said looking at her "third, fourth and fifth line from the bottom" Lin said pointing at the line "step away from the scroll, you flea-bitten, stuttering, mortal lowlife" the demon king said writing another glowing word "Close!" He shouted and everything began to get sucked in "Come on" Wukong said running from it along with Lin dodging the demon kings clones and other scrolls, Wukong pushed her away as a demon king clone flies were Lin was as they continue to run, but the sucking became too strong and soon Wukong and Lin was pulled in

Thankfully Wukong grabs his scroll and Lin with his tail as he slams Stick to the ground bringing him back to the ground "b-brace yourself kid!" Wukong said and throws her to where the real demon king was "that hurt" the demon king said glaring at the red-orange monkey, Wukong then jumps towards the demon king and slam his staff down on the demons kings brush snapping the brush in half, Wukong caught the brush end letting his scroll onto the ground open and he crossed his name out along with two other names "a-and now, I'm immortal!" Wukong said as his whole body glows, then everything began to shake as scroll rain down, Lin yelps as she covers her head from the raining scrolls

Wukong then noticed a book he uses his demon eyes to get a closer look and saw that it was a book on how to have full immortality "oooh, Stick d-door!" Wukong said throwing Stick between the two metal door, Stick murmurs as they grew wide bending the doors "Lin, g-get the book!" Wukong said as Stick flies back into his hands, Lin runs to it and grabs the book "I got it!" Lin said holding the book "let's go" Wukong said picking Lin up and running out of the scroll room "oh no you don't!" The demon king said shooting arrows at the red-orange monkey, a few hit him but he kept running, he pushes the door open and jump up the rocks and push past the ghost, he runs to the entrance and throws Stick at the center making them grow taller, he throws Lin onto them as she shoots up, and he jumps onto Stick as he shoots up them as well "MONKEY!!!!!" The demon king shouted as the two exits the portal and runs out of the graveyard

They came to a stop "hah, well t-that was fun!" Wukong said plucking the arrows off his back "y-you got the book?" Wukong asked looking at Lin "uh, um, uh.." Lin said patting herself to where she had placed the book "y-you didn't lose it did you?" Wukong asked as she looks around "uh, uhh" Lin said panicking "you had one job! One job a-and you blew it!" Wukong said glaring at Lin, Lin looks at him in fear until Wukong pulls out the book "aha! I-I'm just messing with you!" Wukong said handing the book to her with a laugh "do you treat all your friend like this?" Lin said glaring at him, Wukong looks at her "friends, I don't have any friends before Stick, I-I was always a-alone" Wukong said holding Stick, Lin eyes widened and looked at him "oh...sorry" Lin said, Wukong shook his head "a-anyway, this book can t-tell us how I-I can get full Immortality" Wukong said as Lin opens the book and flips through the pages "w-what's it say" Wukong said peaking over Lin's shoulders

"Umm, uhh" Lin said flipping the pages until she stops at one "oh 'Full immortality can be attained by eating a magical peach from the Enchanted Orchard of everlasting Life'" Lin said looking at the book "w-wheres that?" Wukong asked, Lin pulls the book to see it had a map drawn on "this could take a while" Lin said looking at the map, Wukong sighs "w-we'll take a break now, giving you e-enough time to look into it" Wukong said walking in a different direction as Lin walks in the other. Wukong went back to pulling the arrows off his back wincing a bit as he pulls all of them out "finally a-all out" Wukong said tossing the arrow away, he let out a sigh as he sat down on the soft grass "f-full immortality here I come" Wukong said his hand going over his stomach, he looks down and saw that his eyes looking down at his flat stomach where two little babies were nestled in 

'I-I'm actually pregnant, really, this has to be some sick trick there's no way I'm--' Wukong stopped mid thought as memories of Boqin forcibly mating with him plays in his mind over and over again, his breathing quickens as he feels the phantom pains burning on his neck as more and more bad memories surfaces, He was snapped out of it when Stick wacks him oh the head "ow!" Wukong said rubbing his sore head, Stick murmurs and glows in a way of comfort for the red-orange monkey "t-thanks, I-I nearly went back to that d-dark place huh?" Wukong said with a weak chuckle, Stick murmurs again leaning against Wukong smiles as they comfort him "thanks a-again" Wukong said smiling

Wukong jumps from one tall tree branch, breaking through the thick clouds to another as Lin holds onto him "so, what are you going to do, now that you have, twins on the way!" Lin said hanging onto the red-orange monkey "d-don't know, never thought a-about kids" Wukong said jumping to another tree "can I ask who's the father?" Lin asked, Wukong stops his eyes widened a bit "uumm, c-changing subject!" Wukong said jumping to another tree "y-you sure this it t-the right way t-to get to that fancy p-peach orchard?" Wukong asked looking at Lin "yeah, definitely" Lin said nodding her head as the red-orange monkey lands on a branch making the branch rock a bit before jumping to a few more trees "do you have to go top speed?" Lin said as Wukong lands on a tree "this, hah! Please, I-I'll show you top speed" Wukong said with a smirk "h-hold on tight kid" Wukong said, Lin began to protest but it was too late

Wukong began jumping from tree to tree at top speed, leaping through the air as Lin held onto dear life as the red-orange monkey jumps, flips, and leaps from tree to tree unaware that Lin lost her grip, until he stops at the last tree at the edge of the forest "where t-to next, the h-hills, the desert?" Wukong said pulling Stick from behind his ear "Lin, L-Lin?" Wukong said looking behind him to see that she wasn't holding on anymore "great" Wukong said letting out a sigh "Trees, s-so many trees" Wukong said looking at the many trees. He climbs down to the ground and began searching for Lin "kid, k-kid where are you?" Wukong calls out looking around the dense cloudy forest, Stick murmurs and glows "how was I s-suppose to know she fell off, s-she could've told me o-or something" Wukong said walking

Stick murmurs and glows more scolding the red-orange monkey "yes I know humans are f-fragile but they can't be t-this fragile" Wukong said looking around. He let Stick go letting them stand up on their own as he look around "Where I-Is she?" Wukong said holding his hands out, then he heard fain screaming and Lin fell right into his hands curled up and her eyes clenched shut "oh, t-there you are, y-you good?" Wukong asked looking at her as she opened her eyes to look at the red-orange monkey "what?" Wukong said, Lin gets out of his hands "YOU'RE CRAZY!!" Lin shouted glaring at the red-orange monkey holding her right arm before stomping away

Wukong froze from that shout, his hands trembling before shaking his head and went to follow her grabbing Stick. Soon it was nightfall and they made it to the peach grove all bearing ripe peaches "are you sure t-this is the peach grove?" Wukong said looking around the peach orchard "oh yeah, one bite of the magical fruit and you get full immortality" Lin said smiling, then there was a pipe music playing making the red-orange monkey look over to see two demons dressed like giant bumblebees appeared from behind some bushes "behold this magic, full of magic nature, It's the Orchard of Everlasting Life" the two demons singed dancing "we are the magic guardians and the pollinator of this magic orchard, which is definitely real" The two demon sang shaking their stingers 'I don't know why, but I like these guys!' Wukong said with a small smile

Lin let out a sigh of relief when she saw the red-orange monkey smiling "ha ha ha ha ha, handsome hairy stranger, we are the protectors of the nectar of immortality, we promise there's no danger, so eat the poison peach I mean, the peaches that are juiciest are in that glowing tree" the demon singed pointing to the glowing tree as they buzzed. Wukong looks at the glowing tree they pointed at, he walks over to it and picked a peach off from the branch "go on, take a bite" the demons singed, Wukong, looks at the peach and bites into it, he looks at the peach then back to the two demons "I d-don't feel anything happening" Wukong said taking another bite of the peach "do I l-look immortal?" Wukong asked looking at Lin "hm, well--" Lin said shrugging her shoulders

Wukong finished the peach "or maybe it's the tree over over here" The tall demon said pointing to the middle peach tree "that's ridiculous, the one in the light has the juiciest--" the short demon said and they began arguing about which peach tree is the immortality one "maybe it's this tree, the one in the dark that's the most delicious" The tall demon said smiling "hold it, let me check" the short demon said plucking a peach and eats it "nope, definitely not a juicy as the one--" but then the short bee demons pupils dilated and smiled "the tree in the dark..." the short demon said with a loopy smile "uh, I-Is he okay?" Wukong asked as the short demon licks the peach tree "...has the tastiest bark" the short demon said laughing before collapsing

"T-That seems suspicious" Wukong said walking to the tree "no no no no, this is definitely the right tree" the tall demon said plucking a peach smiling "eat it" the tall demon said holding the peach out "no, y-you eat it" Wukong said pushing the peach back "no, you eat it" the tall demon said pushing the peach to Wukong "y-you eat it first" Wukong said looking at the tall demon as they argue back and forth on who would eat the peach, Lin watches this before plucking a peach "how about at the same time?" Lin said tossing the peach to the red-orange monkey. Wukong catches the peach "fine, i-immortality here I come" Wukong said eating the peach, the tall demon eats the peach as well, they swallowed the peach Wukong look at himself "I d-don't feel anything" Wukong said

"Oh wait, m-maybe I do" Wukong said swaying a bit, the tall demons pupils dilated and burps, Lin watched "I feel so good!" The tall demon said smiling "me too!" Wukong said smiling as they hugged 'wait, would this effect badly on the babies?' Lin thought watching them "um, maybe you should sit down" Lin said looking at them "hey! buzz off lady, and mind your own...beeswax" the tall demon said holding Wukong "no! Beeswax" the tall demon said before collapsing onto the short demon "ugh! Clear the stage, I'll take that Stick thank you very much" The Dragon King said walking out of the bushes and towards the tipsy red-orange monkey "hey I know you!" Wukong said looking at The Dragon King. Lin let out a gasp as she reached for the staff

"Oh, y-you're skin's all cleared up, you're s-so gorgy! You must b-be from the Dang Dynasty!" Wukong said smiling "y-you remind me of someone, w-what was his name Loqin, Moqin...Doqin?" Wukong said rubbing his chin but shrug his shoulders "h-hey hey, you gotta try these peaches man" Wukong said using Stick to toss three peaches into the dragons mouth. The Dragon King swallows them "you idiot! Don't you realize what's in those!" The Dragon King said but then he was affected by the peaches as well "yummy, mouth-watering...who wants to take a bath with me!" The Dragon King said smiling "I do!" Wukong said smiling "Yay!" The Dragon King said stumbling "We're hot-tubbing with the dragon tonight!" Wukong said as The Dragon King picked up his two minions and went to the bathtub "everyone's gonna get crazy!" The Dragon King said but then he trips and falls into the bathtub causing the tub to slid down into a river, floating away

"Aw man, I-I love those guys, t-those...those guys are good people" Wukong said looking at Lin "b-but you two are m-my best friends" Wukong said walking over to Lin and place his hand on her shoulder "no no no no no, w-we're not friends" Wukong said point at her with a serious face "the f-five of us, we're family" Wukong said giggling before hugging her patting her back before losing consciousness as Stick murmurs. Lin grunts as the red-orange monkey's weight was on her and she slowly lowers him to the ground letting out a sigh "what just...what just happened" Lin said an awe at what happened, but she quickly snapped out of it as she runs to the river "um, Dr..Dragon" Lin called out but the dragon didn't hear her

Lin let out a groan before looking beck to Wukong "Monkey, are you awake?" Lin asked quietly walking over to Wukong who still slept on, she walked over to Stick and picked them up but the weight was too heavy and she was pulled back to the ground. Lin began to gently pry the red-orange finger when she heard a whimper, she looks at Wukong to see his sleeping face looked scared and in fear, his body shaking 'is he having a nightmare' Lin thought as Wukong whimpers "w-wait, Boqin p-please I'm s-s-sorry" Wukong said talking in his sleep "Boqin?" Lin whispered confused, Wukong whimpers more and curls up in a ball "n-no...please" Wukong said, Lin looks at the distress red-orange monkey then at Stick, mentally torn on what to do. She hears Wukong whimper with tears forming in his shut eyes, before letting out a sigh "I really hope I know what I'm doing" Lin said moving to Wukongs' head and gently stroke his hair, humming a lullaby her mother sang to her when she was little

She watches as Wukong slowly calms down his face looking calm as his whimpers die down as he nuzzled into her hand 'he is kinda cute when he's sleeping' Lin thought with a small smile, but then it fell 'but this Boqin person, what did that guy do to make Monkey King have a nightmare about him?' Lin thought, but then Wukong's eye flew open "wait!" Wukong said, Lin quickly scramble away from him opening the book making it look like she was just reading "did t-the peaches work, a-am I fully immortal?" Wukong said looking at himself, Stick murmurs as they stand up, he grabs Stick and look at Lin "knock m-my head off" Wukong said

"Wh-what?" Lin said confused "t-take my stick and whack m-me in the face, c-come on, come on d-do it" Wukong said holding Stick in front of Lin "I-I won't even feel it" Wukong said pointing at his cheek. Lin hesitates to grab Stick, Wukong groans "f-fine, I'll do it myself" Wukong said standing up, he holds stick out in front of him and whacked himself on the face "ow!" Wukong said falling back "t-those peaches w-were defective" Wukong said sitting up "maybe they're out of season" Lin said looking at the book "w-what our quest was a fail Stick" Wukong said as stick murmurs, Wukong let out a groan as he leans his head on Stick "you're still half-immortal" Lin said

"I-I don't do half-things" Wukong said looking at her "yeah, I noticed" Lin said, Wukong let out another sigh "my tribes elder once t-told me all the things I couldn't do, that I'd wind up alone" Wukong said looking at her "yeah "you'll never amount to anything" I heard that all the time back home" Lin said letting out a sigh "wow, I-I guess we have something in common, w-we're both told that we c-can't do anything" Wukong said placing his hand on top of Lin's head before standing up "well, t-thanks for your help" Wukong said looking at her "you're leaving?" Lin asked looking at him "I-I mean, the quest was a fail, and t-there isn't any other p-peach orchard around" Wukong said turning around to walk away "but no!" Lin said grabbing the end of Stick and try to stop him "don't go, you said we're a family" Lin said being dragged as she held on Stick "n-no I didn't" Wukong said trying to deny what he said "you did" Lin said holding on "I-It didn't sound like me" Wukong said

"Well, you said it" Lin said looking up at him "t-that was just the p-peach talking" Wukong said tugging Stick free "but you promise we do big thing, we can't give up now" Lin said, Wukong sighs looking back at her "Lin, I-I was hopeful about a lot o-of things, and nearly all of it was crushed b-by people who want's t-to stop me, and I'm s-starting to get tired of it" Wukong said. Lin looks up at the red-orange monkey before glaring at him "you know what? Go ahead, walk away, you're so selfish, you only cared about yourself" Lin said turning away her arms crossed, Wukong looks at her before turning around and sat down with a sigh, holding Stick

The two sat in silence as the sun rises from the mountains, then Stick began to glow and murmur as they turn to the book on the ground "hm?" Wukong said as Stick murmurs and glows again "w-what are you yapping about?" Wukong said, Stick murmurs and glows as Wukong looks at the book they were talking about "huh, w-who's that?" Wukong said looking at the picture on the book, he nudge Lin to get her attention "L-Lin, what does it say?" Wukong said as Lin looks at the picture of a smiling old woman "An authority on Everlasting Life, the royal sorceress, Wangmu, can often be found in her laboratory brewing her famous Elixir of Immortality" Lin said perking up after reading it. Wukong perks up as well holding the book

"Yes! W-we're back in the game, one s-sip and they'll have to accept me" Wukong said looking up at the sky smiling "way t-to go Stick!" Wukong said looking at them before looking at Lin "you t-too Lin" Wukong said tossing her the book before ruffling her head and hair a bit, Lin let out a small chuckle as she fixed her hair "well w-what are we waiting for, heaven here w-we come!" Wukong said standing up, but then he falls to his knees and throws up "o-oh my gods!" Lin said quickly going to the red-orange monkey as Wukong throws up again

Chapter Text

When Wukong felt better enough, they immediately fly to heaven by Stick, Lin holds on as they fly fast up in the air "is that the Jade Palace?!" Lin said an awe "a-absolutely" Wukong said smiling and motion Stick to fly towards the Jade Palace as Lin held on, the two fly around the palace with a few loopy-loops before coming to a stop at a cloud that was a bit far from a small cloud cottage. Lin hops off Wukong as the two knelt down at a cloud as they stared at the cottage, Lin let out a small gasp as Wukong looks at the picture on the book "there she is, Wangmu" Lin said an awe as Wangmu exits her laboratory before jumping far away onto another cloud "queen of heaven" Lin said an awe "a-alright, let's go m-make me immortal" Wukong said heading to the laboratory as Lin follows behind

Wukong jumps across to another cloud as Lin stops looking at the edge to see how far up they were before jumping to another cloud and head towards the laboratory. Wukong grunts as he jiggles the door before letting go "locked" Wukong said looking around, he spots a cloud haetae statue and picked it up revealing a key underneath, he picks up the key and was abut to throw the haetae through the door when Lin snatched it away "no! No, no" Lin said giving the red-orange monkey a stern look "ugh, f-fine" Wukong said using the key to unlock the doors, he opens them and they walk inside "s-somewhere in this room a-are the ingredients for m-making the Elixir of Immortality" Wukong said looking at the many bottles that covered the walls "so one o-of these has t-to be the E-Elixir" Wukong said looking around before spotting a pink gourd on the desk

Lin opens the book and flips through the book as the red-orange monkey takes the gourd and opens it bringing it to his face as blue smoke comes out of it "wait don't drink that!" Lin said holding her hand out "I-I wasn't-" but Wukong stopped mid sentence as the blue smoke floats into his nose and his eyes widened as he was covered in blue smoke, Lin covers her eyes for a second before opening them to see Wukong as a baby monkey chirping in confusion as Stick falls to the ground "uh, Monkey?" Lin asked looking at the baby monkey, baby Wukong tilts his head cutely at her with a chirp

The red-orange monkey looks around the laboratory with wide curious eyes chirping and hooting before hopping over to a shelf "ah-ah-ah c-careful careful!" Lin said as baby Wukong looks at the jars on the shelves before hopping onto another shelf. the baby then jumps to the desk spotting a bowl of fruit and sniffed it, he picks a lychee and placed it into his mouth causing him to be teleported to a shelf, the baby shakes his head and went back to the bowl, eating more of the fruit and began teleporting around the laboratory as Lin watches. Baby Wukong then teleports on Lins head and chirps happily "you cheeky" Lin said as she went to grab the baby red-orange monkey but the baby ate another lychee and teleports again dropping a lychee on Lin's head, she grabs it just as baby Wukong is teleported in a furnace

Wukong chirps as he struggled to get out of the furnace, Lin watches before looking at Stick laying on the ground, she was about to head to the furnace but stops going over to pick up Stick. Just as she picked them up she heard a shriek, she looks up to see baby Wukong looking at her with a pleading look as his little chest rise up and down rapidly. Lin bit her lower lip as she looks at the baby monkey then at Stick before letting out a sigh, she placed Stick down and went over to the furnace "it's okay, it's okay" Lin said opening the furnace door. Baby Wukong chirps at her before lunging at her wrapping her in a hug

Lin was surprised by this before slowly hugging the baby monkey, baby Wukong chirps happily, soon she pulls him away from the hug "I'm sorry monkey, I can't fool around anymore" Lin said placing baby Wukong down and picked up Stick, the baby monkey reach up to her with a small hoot "my people are counting on me" Lin said and began walking away. Baby Wukong whimpers as he watch her leave before spotting the pink gourd and picked it up looking at it as blue smoke came out of it. Just as Lin was about to leave Stick flies out of her hand and into Wukong's who was now back to normal "g-going to drink i-it" Wukong said but then his eyes widened as he looked at the gourd and back to Lin "w-what just happened?" Wukong said confused 'he doesn't remember what happened?' Lin thought as Wukong looks at the gourd and placed it back on the desk "a-anyway, what d-do we do" Wukong said looking at Lin

"Well, the first ingredient is...there, a pinch of instant karma" Lin said pointing at a gray jar, Wukon grabs it and hands it to Lin "l-let's get mixing" Wukong said smiling but then "stealing from an old lady?" An old woman voice said making the two turn to see Wangmu there her hands on her hips "you have no honor" Wangmu said looking unimpressed "uh-oh" Lin said  holding the jar "first I punish you, then I shame you" Wangmu said cracking her knuckles"w-well technically we haven't s-stolen anything, since we h-haven't left, a-and you can't shame m-me, I have n-no shame" Wukong said with a shrug as Stick murmurs in agreement as the red-orange monkey gently push Lin behind him and got into a fighting stance "and you have no exit" Wangmu said holding her hand up before closing it into a fist

Then the doors and windows all closed "y-you get the Elixir ready, I'll t-take care of her" Wukong said holding Stick "eat lightning chimp!" Wangmu said sending a red bolt of lightning to the red-orange monkey, Wukong grunts as he was hit sending him flying to a shelf as red lightning crackled across his body, he grunts as he held his chest "L-Lin hurry!" Wukong said as Wangmu jumps up and slam her foot down where Wukong was if the red-orange monkey didn't jump away to a top shelf above the door and jumps away as Wangmu jumps leaps to the shelf "a spoonful of chi" Lin said looking at the shelves as she hides under the desk "there, the blue jar!" Lin said pointing at the blue jar. Wukong jumps to where Lin pointed to and grabs the blue jar "s-spoonful of chi, c-coming up" Wukong said grabbing the jar and throws it to Lin

Lin caught it but bumped into Wangmu who tries to grab her but Lin ducks under the desk and Wukong appears on the other side of the desk and use Stick to knock Wangmu across the laboratory making her hit a shelf "alright w-what's next?" Wukong said looking at her "a drop of moon essence, the green jar" Lin said as she pours the chi into a bowl, Wangmu quickly got up "bad monkey!" Wangmu said charging towards the red-orange monkey "o-on it" Wukong said dodging her attacks as he "ha! Missed" Wukong said dodging her attacks again as he grabs the green jar "yes" Wukong said jumping off the shelf and toss the jar to Lin who caught it "yeah, that's it" Lin said pouring the moon essence into the bowl "a-and what else?" Wukong called out

"Last one, Nectar of peach!" Lin called out, Wukong began looking at the shelves for the jar 'nectar of peach, nectar of peach, nectar of peach' Wukong thought looking at the jars, he grabbed a big pink one and held it out "yes!" Lin said smiling, Wangmu chuckles as she crack her knuckles "h-here you go" Wukong said tossing her the jar, Lin caught it and opens the lid "this is going to sting!" Wangmu said and shoots red lighting at the red-orange monkey who dodges and reflects them all with Stick "y-you call yourself a-a god?" Wukong said as Wangmu charges up to him and he uses stick to block her hands "I'm a l-little disappointed, what a b-bummer" Wukong said using Stick to push her to a wall, Wangmu grunts as she glares at the red-orange monkey but then notice something about the red-orange monkey, she scans him before stopping at his flat stomach, with swiftness she placed her hand on Wunkong's stomach and squeezed

Wukong gasp in shock and moves away holding his stomach "hmm, interesting" Wangmu said with a raised eyebrow, Wukong growls and knocks her away with Stick to the door forcing it open, Wangmu quickly caught the edges of the window before she was thrown out "it's stuck, I-I need a spoon, or chopsticks or--" Lin said looking at Wukong "S-Stick, help her!" Wukong said throwing Stick to Lin, Stick let out a yell as they shrink down small enough for Lin "perfect!" Lin said catching them and use stick to pull out a pink glob of peach nectar and stirred it all into the bowl, making a warm orange glow "I think I did it!" Lin said smiling as she placed stick down and grabbed the bowl here, taste this" Lin said pushing the bowl to Wukong who caught it "taste death!" Wangmu said shooting a blast of lightning at the bow shattering it "No!" Wukong said trying to grab the remaining Elixir that floated in the air but it disappeared, Wukong glares at her "t-that does it!" Wukong said leaping towards her and the two began to fight with Wukong dodging her attacks while landing a few attacks on her whenever he has the chance

Wangmu then got the upper hand and punch Wukong sending him flying out of the Laboratory and high up in the air, Wukong grunts as his senses where completely out from the punch, flying further up into the air before finally stopping, he looks around an awe at the many stars in the sky "w-wow" Wukong said looking at the many stars, before looking back down "I-I gotta go help Lin" Wukong said pushing himself down as gravity began to do its work, he falls down from the air and back into the laboratory landing on his hands before jumping back on his feet "S-Stick, Lin, where a-are you?" Wukong said looking around, but then he heard a chuckle from behind him and turns to see Wangmu towering over him "back for more, monkey!" Wangnu said as her hand crackled with red lightning, Wukong gasp as he dodges the first bolt but was strucked by the second bolt causing him to scream in pain

Wangmu laughs as Wukong grunts in pain falling to his knees "goodbye, mortal" Wangmu said laughing "h-h-half-m-m-mortal" Wukong whispered before falling to the floor barely conscious, he could hear Wangmu talking but it was too muffled for him to make out as the sound of his heartbeat thumps into his ears, but then he felt something cold and metal enter his mouth and the taste of something sweet entered his mouth, his eyes widened as a bright light covers his body instantly energizing him up, he sits up and take Stick out of his mouth looking at his glowing body as Stick murmurs and glows "I l-love it when people tell me what I-I can't do" Wukong said standing up with a smirk, Wangmu grunts as she shot red lightning at Wukong, sending him flying to a shelf causing him to let out a shout, at first it stings, but then it went away, he looks at himself letting out a laugh as he began to grow, Lin stares in awe as Wangmu gasp "my lightning makes you stronger?" Wangmu said

Wukong looks at himself smiling "I-I'm Immortal!" Wukong said smiling as Stick murmurs and glows "a-and huge!" Wukong said looking back at Wangmu "I'm o-one of you now" Wukong said smirking "you will never be one of us!" Wangmu said glaring at the red-orange monkey "Monkey!" Lin called out but Wukong didn't hear her "w-who's gonna stop me!" Wukong said glaring at her "I summon the Immortal Ones!" Wangmu said shooting lightning from the hole "I'm a-already here!" Wukong said glaring at her "they're coming, we gotta get out of here!" Lin called out but Wukong didn't hear her "what are t-they gonna do, I-I can't die!" Wukong said his demon eyes glowing "there are fates far worse than death" Wangmu said, Wukong looked at her in shock but hides it as he glares at her "we really should go now" Lin said then her eyes widened as she took out the lychee from her robe "bring t-them on, I-I am a god" Wukong said glaring at her "Monkey!!" Lin called out finally catching Wukong's attention "w-what?! I'm busy!" Wukong said looking at her "bet you can't catch me!" Lin said popping the lychee into her mouth and she teleports outside of the laboratory and falls

Wukong looks at where Lin vanished his eyes returning back to normal before looking back at Wangmu, he let's out a frustrated grunt before running past Wangmu, pushed the doors open and jumps towards the edge of the clouds, leaving Wangmu there glaring at where Wukong left with a tiny bit of worry. Wukong flies down holding Stick as he saw Lin screaming as she falls, he maneuvers himself towards her and caught her as they landed in a big body of water inside a giant Jade necklace and causing a huge splash Wukong swims up to the surface as the water returned back down as he and Lin were at the ledge with Lin propped upside down panting while Wukong was glaring at her "you came back...for me" Lin said bewildered

"W-what's the matter with y-you?!" Wukong said glaring down at Lin "you came back for me!" Lin said standing up smiling "a-are you trying t-to go back to h-hell, a-and you call m-me crazy!" Wukong said glaring at her "but you came back, because you care" Lin said leaning over to him "n-no" Wukong said looking away "admit it, you care, say it" Lin said smirking "no N-no!" Wukong said glaring at the girl "say I care" Lin said smiling "never!" Wukong said glaring at the girl "admit it!" Lin said still smirking "I admit n-nothing!" Wukong said still denying it "he so cares about me" Lin said booping the red-orange monkey on the nose. Stick murmurs and glows as they talk to Lin 

"I know, he was all like 'We're not family, and you're a tiny pebble' and then he saves me" Lin said laughing as Stick murmurs like a laugh while the red-orange monkey watch them with a deadpan expression "A-are you two done, c-cause I got to get to t-the Jade Palace" Wukong said looking at them "to do what?" Lin asked after she stopped laughing "t-to defeat all the i-immortal ones, then I'll b-become their ruler t-the new king of h-heaven" Wukong said looking at her "wait, are you sure, sounds kind of crazy" Lin said ringing her hair dry "y-yep!" Wukong said hopping onto some jade rocks "w-whatever The Monkey King does, h-he does big!" Wukong said standing on top of some jade stone "and you won't ever stop" Lin said ringing more water out of her braid "not until t-the day I die" Wukong said jumping off the jade stone "which is" Lin said as Wukong lands in front of her "never, I'm I-Immortal!" Wukong said looking at her

"My thirst for n-new challenges will n-never end, I'll never b-be satisfied, I'll never be f-fulfilled" Wukong said before pausing "w-which, when I say it out l-loud sounds incredibly depressing" Wukong said sitting down at the edge 'did I just cursed myself?' Wukong thought as Stick murmurs and glows as Lin sat down to him "maybe defeating everyone isn't always the answer, maybe, you'd find happiness by, I don't know by...helping other people, that could be your new path" Lin said looking at Wukong "Hmm?" Wukong said thinking about it "like, say you could save a starving village by lending out the Stick" Lin said fiddling with her fingers "my Stick, okay h-how about I'd just r-rip off my tail and give t-that away too" Wukong said with a small chuckle "but you could save the lives of so many" Lin said looking at him "a-and that does sound like a g-good Idea, but I-I don't think g-giving up Stick would d-do any good for a-anyone" Wukong said looking at Stick

"You can do great things, I'm just a mortal" Lin said looking at the red-orange monkey pleadingly "y-your the only m-mortal I know who's g-gone to hell and heaven i-in one day" Wukong said giving her a smile "that wasn't my accomplishment, that was you" Lin said looking down at the water "when we were in hell, I read my scroll, it said 'Lin, common peasant girl, tried to make a difference, never did'" Lin said closing her eyes "does it have to end that way?" Lin asked looking up at Wukong. "I-I mean what do y-you like doing back a-at your village?" "Lin asked pointing at the water "interesting, I-I don't know, two t-three, years!" Wukong said taking a deep breath and jumps into the water, sinking down. Stick murmurs as they tilted sideways but Lin caught them, she looks around and drags Stick deeper into a jade cave that had more water and took out a vial, opening it and pouring a single drop into the water. later she waited at the edge of the same large water as two fish demons walked over to her, she stands up and handed Stick to them, not looking at them "don't be sad, you done good girl" the tall demon fish said placing a hand on her shoulder "go home, your storm is coming" the short demon fish said as they left with a chuckle, Lin stood there as she looks back at the water Wukong was in, feeling guilt gnaw at her heart

By sundown, Lin was throwing small jade rocks into the water as Wukong jumps out shaking the water off him "ah I w-wasn't going to wait t-the whole three, c-come on, grab Stick an we'll" Wukong said turning around to where Stick was but Stick wasn't their "w-where's Stick?" Wukong asked looking around "I hand no choice, he just need to borrow them" Lin said looking at the red-orange monkey "b-borrow them?" Wukong said looking at the vial in her hands "w-where did you get that?" Wukong asked looking at her "The Dragon King just--" but Wukong cut her off "Dragon King?" Wukong said remembering the dragon form the village celebration "My village is dying, my family is dying, the Dragon King can help them" Lin said trying not to cry "I-I trusted you Lin, I saved you" Wukong said looking at her "I saved you first, and I asked for your help, you said if I want something, don't ask just take it, that's what you said" Lin said glaring at the red-orange monkey

Wukong growls at her "I had to do it" Lin said, Wukong growls as he grabs the vial and throws it into the water, then the water began to bubble and float, creating an image of The Dragon King with Stick "Well hello, you" The Dragon King said smirking down at Wukong "t-that Stick belongs to me!" Wukong said glaring at the dragon "Sticky poo here had a momentary fling, but now they've come home, in fact you'll be the guest of honor at my celebration tonight, invite only, and a warm thanks to you for the help my child" The Dragon King said looking at Lin "Tell your village that drought is over, it's all over...for you, your people, and the entire world!" The Dragon King said with a laugh before the image returns back into the water "the world?" Lin whispered before realizing what the dragon meant "no we have to stop him!" Lin said looking at Wukong "y-you betrayed me!" Wukong said glaring at her "I had no choice, we're still family, right?" Lin asked hopefully "I-I. Have. No. Family!" Wukong said glaring at her "I'll help you get Stick back!" Lin said 

"You, w-why should I trust you, h-how can I trust y-you, this monkey h-heroes alone!" Wukong said with a stomp, causing everything around him to shake as a large piece of Jade falls down towards Lin, she closed her eyes waiting for the impact but felt none, she opened her eyes to see Wukong grabbing the jade piece before tossing it into the water, making a big splash "I'll s-show you crazy" Wukong said his eyes turning demonic "Wukong!" Lin called out as the red-orange monkey jumps up high in the air, disappearing into the clouds. Wukong reaches higher up into the sky, breaking through the clouds before coming to a stop, his chest heave up and down before lifting his fists and slam them on the clouds shouting as he shouts, hitting, or throwing any clouds in front of them until he stops, still angry

'Don't breakdown, d-don't breakdown, not here...not ever' Wukong thought breathing heavily burying his face into his hands as he tries not to breakdown as he sat on the cloud, a few minutes later he calmed down enough to not breakdown crying. Wukong looked through the clouds, seeing that the ocean was different 'huh? ' He thought as he lowered the cloud he was on down to see that the ocean was rising and beginning to flood the land "w-what the?" Wukong said confused, then he heard booming laughter through the rain and followed it seeing the Dragon King a giant while laughing more, red lightning crackling out of his hands, Wukongs eyes widened at the sight 'Lin what have you done' Wukong thought
