Li Jing didn't respond this time. But MK caught a slight nod before the general moved on to the next pile. MK chuckled softly and continued to help put the useless items into the boxes. They worked in silence for a moment, the only sound heard was the scraping of items being put into the boxes. Until they didn't realize that they had been doing that for two hours with several boxes that had been filled and stacked.
However, MK started asking, breaking the silence. “Li Jing, have you ever been close friends with a mortal?”
