Hannibal's knees gave out, he kneeled onto the cold frost biting snow. The snow fell onto him, the cold chain around his neck dragged onto the floor. He was lost in the open, the young boy's fate undecided. The shouts of the soldiers rang through the sky, he let himself be captured.
New Orleans was insufferably cold, especially for will. He laid crumpled on a snow pile near a dumpster. He hugged his small frame weakly. He was hungry, tired and frozen. He was waiting for his father. He never returned to collect Will.
