Work Text:

Nanami awoke to the delightful aroma of breakfast wafting through their cozy home. The smell of sizzling bacon, freshly brewed coffee, and the subtle hint of pancakes filled the air. He stretched lazily in bed, reveling in the comfort of their warm, inviting bedroom.

With a yawn, he swung his legs out of bed and padded into the bathroom. As he splashed his face with cool water and reached for his toothbrush, he couldn't help but smile. It was mornings like these that made him appreciate life's simple pleasures.

After a quick shower and a change into a comfortable t-shirt and pajama bottoms, Nanami made his way to the kitchen, following the tantalizing scent. He stopped in the doorway, his heart skipping a beat as he saw his beautiful wife, Tiana, standing by the stove, her dark wavy hair pulled back into a bun. She was humming a sweet, melodic tune, lost in her culinary world.

Nanami couldn't help but admire the graceful curve of her neck, the way her apron hugged her figure, and the sunlight that streamed through the window, casting a soft glow on her. Tiana was radiant, and it took Nanami's breath away every time he saw her like this.

He couldn't help but reflect on how incredibly lucky he was to have met such a wonderful and hardworking woman. In moments like these, he found himself drifting back to the day they first crossed paths, a memory that remained etched in his heart.

Nanami had been on a dangerous mission, chasing a lead that led him to the back alley of a small, inconspicuous restaurant – Tiana's restaurant. He had been wounded and disoriented, blood staining his clothes. Tiana had appeared like an angel, her eyes widening in surprise and concern as she rushed to help him.

The vivid image of her face, framed by those beautiful, worry-filled eyes, was something Nanami could never forget. She had tended to his wounds, providing a safe haven when he needed it the most. It was the beginning of a bond that grew stronger with each passing day.

Lost in his thoughts, Nanami was suddenly snapped back to reality as Tiana turned towards him, her eyes sparkling with warmth and affection. "Good morning," she said with a smile, revealing the deep dimples that Nanami adored.

He grinned back at her, his heart swelling with love. "Good morning, my love," he replied, crossing the room to wrap his arms around her waist. They stood there, in the warm embrace of their kitchen, the scent of breakfast filling the air, as they savored the simple yet profound joy of being together.

Nanami no longer needed fairy tales to believe in happily ever afters. He was living one every day, right there in their cozy kitchen, with the woman who had stolen his heart in a back alley, and now filled their home with love and the delicious aroma of breakfast.

After a delicious breakfast filled with laughter and conversation, Nanami and Tiana cleared the table together, savoring these precious moments of togetherness. Nanami often marveled at how their love had grown since that fateful day in the back alley.

As they finished cleaning up, Nanami fetched the car keys and held the door open for Tiana, a tradition that had become second nature. She stepped out onto the porch, and Nanami followed, locking the door behind him.

The short drive to Tiana's restaurant was a cherished routine they had established over the years. It was a time for them to share their plans for the day and exchange sweet nothings. The engine purred softly as they drove through the quaint streets of their town.

As they pulled up to the front of the restaurant, Tiana turned to Nanami, her eyes filled with affection. She leaned in, capturing his lips in a gentle kiss, as she had done countless times before. Nanami's heart raced, and his cheeks flushed as their lips met, a burst of warmth spreading through his body.

Tiana broke the kiss, her eyes sparkling as she whispered, "I love you, Kento."

Nanami's voice caught in his throat for a moment, as it always did, but he managed to reply with a heartfelt, "I love you too, Tiana." He couldn't help but smile, even though he knew he would be blushing for the next few minutes.

Tiana chuckled softly, her fingers gently caressing his cheek. "You're so cute when you blush," she teased.

Nanami's blush deepened, and he playfully nudged her. "You do it on purpose, don't you?"

Tiana laughed, her musical laughter filling the car. "Maybe I do," she admitted, leaning in for one more quick peck before opening the car door. "I'll see you tonight, my love."

Nanami watched her gracefully exit the car, feeling grateful for the love and happiness they shared. He waved as she walked into the restaurant, then pulled away from the curb, still blushing and with a heart full of love.

Each morning drop-off was a reminder of the incredible bond they had built, and Nanami knew he would never tire of hearing those three special words from Tiana or feeling his cheeks warm with a blush. They were the everyday magic that made his life extraordinary.
