Chapter Text
"Well, dear brainless people and social misfits, it's time to teach you an important lesson as part of the Say Yes Studies, No Drugs program. What a shitty name..."
"What a shitty presentation", Tweek thought, about his school's new attempt to teach something to the (no longer so little) kids of South Park. Strangely, time had passed, most of the time, everything came down to Stan's group getting into trouble or Cartman trying to make all the attention revolve around him.
Over the years, the blonde had realized that many of the problems in his small mountain town came down to those four little ones. It's true, there were equally stupid and controversial characters who brought one or another conflict, but Marsh, Broflovsky, Cartman and McCormick were especially idiotic and always attracted setbacks.
He still remembers the weeks he spent with them when Kenny had "mysteriously" disappeared for a while. They were the worst of his life, and he drank about 7 or 8 cups of coffee a day. Thanks to the small cafeteria that his family ran, getting this delicious elixir was no problem. Furthermore, his father had always encouraged him to consume it, it was nothing bad and at the same time it did a little publicity for the establishment.
After thinking about it for a few seconds, he found it funny that all those children who were once in the dreaded fourth grade were now just one year away from finishing their school years. A small smile graced his face as he thought that, despite everything, they had survived longer than people expected. They were idiots and got into all kinds of trouble with the government of both their country and other countries. He could tell that he came from a small town, but not a boring one.
"Hey, if you're thinking of a joke or something, you should tell me. I'm getting bored like you have no idea." Interrupted the voice of the person who had become his greatest confidant, his best friend and boyfriend since he was 10 years old.
Tweek turned his face to look at Craig, every day he wondered how the most handsome kid in school became the most attractive boy in high school. For the blonde, he had not changed anything, he only knew that he loved him with every fiber of his anxious heart. He didn't notice the change until one of his classmates had told him, "It must be a dream to go out with Tucker, he's literally a sex bomb."
He also constantly wondered why the idiot had stayed with him and swore he loved him. Their relationship had started due to social pressure, but now they couldn't see a future without thinking about each other. No matter who approached Craig, he always gave them the middle finger and told them to fuck off, men or women, no one seemed to have room in his heart more than his coffee addict.
"I was just thinking about how the time passed, Craig. We're graduating in a few months and here we are listening to some stupid drug talk. Don't you think we're wasting our time?"
"If you are inviting me to escape from this place, I accept," the raven man mentioned with a small smile before taking his boyfriend's hand.
"Mr. Mackey," Craig called; however, the counselor seemed absorbed in who knows what, "Mr. Mackey, Tweek started to feel bad. We're going to the infirmary!"
The man who had already gone completely bald over the years turned to face him and mentioned his classic "Mmmkay." They both felt excited to leave that place to find somewhere to talk for a couple of hours. As they were getting up from their seats, the speaker giving the interesting information about drugs raised his voice.
"Now let's move on to amphetamines, or one of the most used drugs of all time: methamphetamine. Its greatest use was during World War II, this type of narcotic makes people very alert and hardly sleep. For this reason, the military decided that soldiers should consume it, especially those who flew the planes. After this tragic era, the Japanese continued to consume methamphetamine to satisfy the demands of their nation. With this stimulant, they could concentrate a hundred times more and do twice as many activities... Between 1980 and 1990, methamphetamine was a major drug distributed to treat Attention Deficit Disorder, if any of you were detected between those years, it is likely that they have consumed it."
"Tweek? Honey, let's go." Tweek did not move, there was something in the man's crude explanation that caught his attention and began to generate great anxiety, he had been detected with ADD in the 90s, had he used methamphetamine? Oh, God!. Oh, for all the gods existing and yet to exist. Did his parents know about him? And if they didn't know, maybe when they find out, they will judge him and throw him out of their home for being a drug addict. If he thought this logically (as Craig always advised him), since he was 8 years old he had not stopped taking his medications and had never observed his components, since their parents hid the box.
"Finally, after years of research it was proven that methamphetamine was not good for children with ADD, and it was removed from the market, although some doctors still recommend it in extreme cases. In general, these are the symptoms of constant meth consumption: delusions, psychosis, euphoria, aggressive behavior and moments in which a person experiences a feeling of overconfidence. Among others, we find paranoia, depression, anxiety, chronic fatigue, itchy skin that will cause the user to begin to uncontrollably scratch parts of their body, generating wounds..."
"Tweek?" Little by little his breathing accelerated, his heart rate increased, the room seemed to spin and those images and voices that he thought he stopped feeling returned. He wanted to run away, hit someone or cry. He wanted to disappear. He wanted ...
"Man, you didn't need to describe Tweek," Cartman said with a big laugh. Some of his classmates continued with the fat man's joke. "We all know that he is an addict."
That word was the trigger for a well-deserved panic attack.
