"Kitty, what's the hold up?"
A woman with pale skin, short, auburn/blood red hair, brown eyes and red-rimmed glasses with her whole face painted white was knocking at the door, dressed in a long coat that is white on the right side and black on the right side with cuffed sleeves, a hooded poncho with bear ears that is white on the right side and black on the right side, leggings that are white on the right side and black on the left side, white gloves boots (the right one being white and the left one being black) and a black half mask on the left side of her face with an evil smile and a red, horizontal, jagged eye. She is Josie Sakura and right now, she is dressed as a human version of Monokuma from Danganronpa.
And by the looks of it, Josie is waiting for someone to come out.
"Kitty, we're gonna be late for the Halloween party!" Josie exclaims. "Aren't you dressed yet?"
Then, a white anthropomorphic cat who is shorter than Josie with brown eyes and light brown sclera and tufts of fur that look like hair comes out of the room, wearing a long hooded bear onesie that resembles the Yin-Yang symbol with the right side being white and the left side being black and the belly remains white with an "X" shape mark on the center, a pair of mittens (the left being black and the right being white), a pair of boots (the left being black and the right being white) and a pair of sunglasses with the right lens being black and round and the red being red and shaped like Monokuma's left eye. She's Josie Kitty, Josie's cat sister.
Josie looks at her sister's costume and notices that she too is dressed as Monokuma, well, not the human version, but still. When Kitty looks at Josie's costume, she becomes embarrassed.
"Oh, crap." Kitty said in dismay. "Well, one of us is gonna have to change."
Then, Josie crosses her arms and glares at Kitty. Kitty sighs and says, "Fine, I guess we can both be Monokuma."
"If you're both gonna be Monokuma, then I hope this doesn't interfere with our group theme, Ultimate Despair." said a woman who just came in.
The woman has pale skin like Josie's, long black hair tied in pigtails and red eyes dressed in a gothic lolita black dress with red and white on it, a red rose on a white ascot collar, white gloves, white leggings, red Mary Janes and a small black top hat with a white bow on it and a red rose attached to it. On her pigtails are twin bear hair clips that are based on Monokuma's two sides. The right clip is a completely white bear with dot eyes and a neutral expression, while the left is a black bear with a white muzzle, jagged red eyes, and a wicked smile. She is Josie Sakura's twin sister, Pyrose Sakura and she is dressed as she is in Ultimate Despair.
Along with her are other adults. The first one is a young man with pale skin, auburn hair and brown eyes wearing red glasses, white gloves with clawed fingers, a black jacket with white shoulders, black capri pants, large, black shoes with pointed toes and a white stripe on their midsections, black and red bandages wrapped around his legs, fake fangs, his face, more ashen and shadowed, being particularly the area around his eyes and a Monokuma mask on the right side of his face, covering his right eye. He's Corey Sakura, Josie's male counterpart and clone and the unofficial triplet brother of Josie and Pyrose Sakura and he is also dressed like he's in Ultimate Despair.
The second one is a young man with pale skin, blonde hair, blue eyes, a black crown above his head, a white dress shirt with red lining on the collar and red buttons, a dark gray vest, a black coat with red lining and white buttons with cuffed sleeves that are red with a black stripe on each one, a red tie, red jeans black lining on the bottom, a black belt, white leggings and black dress shoes with red on the top. He is Lucas Gold, Josie's boyfriend and just like Pyrose and Corey, he is dressed as she is in Ultimate Despair.
The third one is a young woman who is the female counterpart of Lucas with longer hair in a ponytail tied with a red scrunchie wearing a white dress shirt with red lining on the collar and red buttons, a dark gray vest, a black coat with red lining and white buttons with cuffed sleeves that are red with a black stripe on each one, a red bow on the collar, a long red skirt with black lining on the bottom, a black belt, white leggings, black Mary Janes with red straps and a silver crown with red and white gems. She is June Gold, Lucas' younger sister and just like Pyrose, Corey and Lucas, she is dressed as she is in Ultimate Despair.
The fourth one is a young woman with pale skin, short white hair and green eyes dressed in a white bodysuit, a long black dress with red lining and a red belt on it, a red bandana tied around her neck, long black shirtless sleeves with red lining, black gloves with red fingers on it, black boots with red lining, a red headband and red shades. She is Mandy Silver, Lucas' other girlfriend and she is also dressed like she is in Ultimate Despair.
The fifth one is a young woman who is black with dark brown hair tied in a big poofy ponytail with a red bow on it and brown eyes wearing a white tank top, a black jacket, a red skirt, red fingerless gloves, white leggings, black boots with red lining, sunglasses with red lenses and bear earrings similar to Pyrose's hair clips. She is Kailey Jones, who is also dressed like she is in Ultimate Despair.
The sixth and last one is very familiar to Josie and Kitty. A female humanoid creature with a square head, light blue skin with doll-like joints, blue and pink eyes, long rainbow hair tied in pigtails with hair clips used like Pyrose's, a unique hooded black-and-red dress with red ruffles on one side of her skirt and black, red and white plaid on the other, red bike shorts underneath, thick belted black boots, white bracelets and long red fingerless gloves.
"Candy, is that you?" Josie asked. Candy Rainbow is Josie's imaginary friend turned real friend.
"You look like Junko Enoshima and Kairi from the Kingdom Hearts series." Josie added.
"I know, but we don't have time to talk about who's dressed as who." Candy complained. "We're still waiting on Angel, Leroy, Pinkie, Dezre, Casey, Rosie, Kimi, Brenda and your brother, Joey."
"Oh yeah, now, I remember." Josie said. "Speaking of Pinkie."
A young woman with pale skin, pink hair and wine red eyes dressed in a white bodysuit, a long black dress with red lining and a red belt on it, a red bandana tied around her neck, long black shirtless sleeves with red lining, black gloves with red fingers on it, black boots with red lining, a red headband and red shades appeared. She is Pinkie Heart and she is wearing the same costume as Mandy, much to the latter's shock. The former notices this and becomes shocked as well.
"Is this a joke?" Mandy asked. "Are you wearing the same costume as me?"
"I know you're offended, but I am not changing!" Pinkie replied, not wanting to change her costume.
"Well, I'm not changing either!" Mandy replied, glaring at Pinkie.
"Girls, stop fighting!" Kailey exclaimed, breaking up the fight. "We still have to be at the party!"
A female anthropomorphic fox and a young man enter as well. The fox has red fur with a tuft of fur, a twin drill hairstyle, dark red paws, light red fur around her muzzle with cheek tufts, front torso with fluffy fur on top of her chest and the tips of her tails, light red canals in her ears on top of her head and a small black nose and wears a black hoodie, a gray shirt underneath, red shorts, long black and white striped socks, red crocs and bear hair clips similar to Pyrose and Candy's.
The man on the other hand is gothic with pale skin, black hair and eyes, bags under his eyes and thick black eyebrows wearing a red tank top, a black vest, long black and red striped fingerless gloves, black capri pants, long black and red striped socks, black boots and a black face mask.
Their names are Angelexei D. Vixen and Leroy Marx and they are also dressed like they are in Ultimate Despair. They had never got along before, but this is their first time and right now, they are talking.
"Maybe we could get to places on time if you take less time with your makeup." said Leroy.
"Maybe I would if you stop ripping on me for dating L." Angelexei said before noticing the group. "Oh. Sorry. We're not the last ones, are we?"
"No," Corey said. "We are still waiting for-"
"We're here."
Four more women arrive, one being a pale woman with white hair and blue eyes, one with blonde hair and blue eyes, one being a Black woman with long dark brown hair and brown eyes and one being an Asian woman with black hair in pigtails and indigo eyes. They are all dressed black polo shirts with red collars and red lining on the sleeves, red capri shorts, white knee socks, black sneakers with red lining and white laces, long red fingerless gloves, black face masks and Monokuma hair clips. They are Dezre Azul, Casey Clovers, Rosie Brown and Kimi Dragonfire and they too are dressed as if they are in Ultimate Despair.
"But we're not alone." Dezre said. "Look who came with us."
A British woman with pale skin, orange hair, brown eyes and red glasses arrives with a red bow with a Monokuma pin on it wearing a white dress shirt, a black coat, a black bow with a red brooch on the collar, a red skirt, long black and white striped socks and red mary janes. She's Brenda Green.
Along with her is Josie and Pyrose's (as well as Kitty and Corey's) younger brother, Joey Sakura, a young man with pale skin and brown hair and eyes wearing a white dress shirt, a black coat, a red tie, red capri pants, white leggings, black dress shoes with red laces and a Monokuma pin on his coat.
"Hey, sis, I see you and Kitty are dressed as Monokuma," said Joey.
Josie and Kitty looked at each other for a moment.
The scene switches to Candy's car, driving through the woods.
"Man, I can't wait to get to the party," said Lucas. Then, he turns to his sister and said, "It's gonna be all, like, "What's up, Ultimate Despair?""
He laughs and then hi-fives June.
"Lucas, enough," said Mandy. "You're embarrassing me and Josie."
"Hey, guys, do you think they'll have snacks?" Pinkie asked.
"It's the biggest Halloween party in Toonopolis, Pinkie," Josie replied. "They'll have all the candy you can eat."
"Yeah, but all the good stuff will be gone before we get there!" Kitty complained. "This drive is taking forever!"
"The map says it should be right around here." Pyrose said, reading the map.
"Guys, you sure you know where we're going?" Candy asked while on the driver's seat. "Seriously, I haven't seen a house for miles!"
"It's fine, I know what I'm doing," said Pyrose.
"Ugh! I'm dying of boredom back here." Joey complained.
"What are we gonna do to pass the time?" Rosie asked.
"I know!" Josie exclaimed. "How about a scary story?"
"Yeah-yuh!" Kitty added.
"A scary story?" Angelexei asked. "How is that gonna pass the time?"
"Everyone loves scary stories," said Josie. "Besides, I've got the perfect one!"
"What is it?"
"That depends," Josie added. "Anyone interested in a scary story about Eric Cartman?"
"Cartman?" Kitty asked.
"Cartman?" Pyrose asked.
"Cartman?" Angelexei asked.
"Cartman?" Brenda asked.
"Cartman?" Pinkie asked.
"Cartman?" Corey asked.
"Cartman?" Lucas asked.
"Cartman?" June asked.
"Cartman?" Mandy asked.
"Cartman?" Kailey asked.
"Cartman?" Candy asked.
"Cartman," Josie answered calmly. "And he will be the villain of this story."
"Figures that he would be an antagonist to a scary story." Rosie said. "What's this story about anyway?"
"The South Park Specter." Josie replied. "And yes, Cartman is-"
"We know." everyone else said, interrupting Josie.
"Huh?" Josie asked.
"No offense, but we've already heard the ghost story which is a what-if horror story about Cartman being the Specter." Dezre replied. "But if you wanna tell us a scary story about Cartman as the South Park Specter, be my guest."
"Yeah, we're quite interested in a South Park Specter horror story." Casey added.
"You'll tell us, won't you, Josie?" Kimi asked. "It would be nice to hear about Cartman being the villain."
"Funny you should mention that, that is exactly what I plan to do." Josie said.
"This is gonna be good." Joey said, happily.
"Halloween is always a fun time, but at South Park, that is where he comes out: Eric Cartman, the South Park Specter, died 100 years ago at the tender age of 10 and haunts South Park every year on Halloween night to steal the souls of his victims. This Halloween is different because it will also feature Josie Rosaline and Harold Boggs as the protagonists. Submitted for the approval of the Midnight Society, I call this story "The South Park Specter: Haunted Halloween"."
"Hold it!" Pinkie interrupts. "We're not the Midnight Society!"
"She's right," Leroy added. "And besides, doesn't all Midnight Society stories start with "The Tale of"?"
"I'm trying to add a reference to the show Are You Afraid of the Dark?." Josie replied. "What do you want me to say? "The Tale of the South Park Specter"? I'm pretty sure that title is taken."
"Hmm, you do make a good point." said Leroy.
"But we're still not the Midnight Society, we're Ultimate Despair." Lucas told Josie.
"Okay, if you insist, the title stays." Josie said. "Submitted for the approval of Ultimate Despair, like I said before, I call this story "The South Park Specter: Haunted Halloween"."
The South Park Specter: Haunted Halloween

100 years ago...
October 31st, 1923
The scene switches to the town of South Park in 1923. It was Halloween night as a small, chubby figure with his entire body draped from head to toe in a white bedsheet with eye holes was seen walking in the forest by himself, holding a bag of candy. The boy's name is Eric Theodore Cartman, an evil, manipulative, sadistic, rude, greedy, gluttonous, racist, sexist, antisemitic, xenophobic, bigoted, deceitful, selfish, lazy, spoiled, short-tempered, narcissistic, delusional, psychotic, foul-mouthed, troublemaking bully who was only 10 years old and he was dressed as a bedsheet ghost for Halloween, his favorite night of the year. He just went trick-or-treating by himself so that he won't have to share any candy.
The boy was laughing joyfully as he said, "Oh, what a night! I can't believe I got all this candy by myself! I hope I didn't get any of that gross hippie candy or raisins. That's what pisses me off!"
Then, Cartman starts coughing. He remembered that he had been suffering from a terrible illness that's making him grow weaker and weaker. No one, not even Cartman himself, knows what the illness is, but Cartman is the only one who is aware that he was sick and didn't care, for he had to keep his illness a secret.
"Damn illness, why can't you let me enjoy myself for once?" Cartman complained as he kept coughing.
Soon, Cartman got weaker and weaker and collapsed on the floor. He wanted to let people know that he's sick, but that would mean that he would miss out on Halloween. This made him more upset. He wanted to throw a fit, but he doesn't have enough energy left. He realized that he was dying.
"Body getting weaker..." Cartman groaned weakly as he began to lay down. "Can't seem to-"
Then, Cartman kept coughing as he got worse. It was his fault for not telling anyone about his illness and now, he's taking it to his grave, but he blamed everyone else as he realized that no one was there to help him, meaning that he was all alone. As he lay down on the ground dying, he looked into the sky in anger and said something sinister in the form of a poem.
"As I lay with final breath,
A vow I make upon my death
That I shall return once a year
On Halloween night where you shall know fear!
If I can never be avenged,
I'll haunt this town as an act of revenge!
I'll hunt you down, those who did me wrong
I'll drag you down the underworld where you belong!
You've hated me in life, but now, you will learn
To fear my ghost for I may return
From beyond the grave, where I have the last laugh!
Respect my undead authoritah or suffer my ghostly wrath!
You think you've seen the last of me,
But the horrors of Cartman will live on eternally!
Once I get my hands on you,
I'll make your fears and nightmares come true!
So beware, for you will all get what you deserved!
In my twisted legacy, revenge will be served!
So Happy Halloween and fuck you all,
One by one, you will all fall!
Mark my words, you deserve my worst!
From this day forward, South Park is cursed!"
In the morning, Cartman's body was found in the forest and nobody knew how he died. Underneath the costume, he was not only fat, but had medium brown hair and a double chin, wearing a white dress shirt, a red 1920's jacket, a yellow ascot, yellow mittens, a blue hat with a yellow puff ball on top, brown pants and black shoes. For an evil child like him, his death was peaceful, but little did everyone in South Park know that Cartman would return from beyond the grave.
99 years later...
October 31st, 2022
In the year 2022 on Halloween night, we see a cab going through the streets with someone looking worried glancing through the window through the foggy night as a thunderstorm started. Inside, the man named heard a noise, looking confused.
"Huh?" the man asked.
He looked outside, looking at the pumpkin headed scarecrow flash from the lightning with old rags blowing. He sighed a bit while at the driver's seat, the driver heard the thunder, looking fearful as he searched around.
The driver floors it, quickly going through the road while the one inside sighed. Just then, the sound of rattling chains was heard as the man looked around, then looked more scared as an eerie child's laughter was heard. Just then, scythe blades were heard along with a slash. He then noticed blood spraying and looked to see the source of it, gasping in horror as he saw his driver without a head.
"OH MY GOD!" the man cried.
He looked around a bit in fear before quickly opening the door, jumping out of the cab while the corpse darted onward. He went into the fields, panting in fear as thunder was heard. He stopped, looking around as he gasped a bit. He heard more noises before running, then gasped, noticing the scarecrow close to him. After a few moments, he looked a bit relieved.
"Phew..." the man sighed.
Just then, he heard the sound of rattling chains, slowly turning before a voice whispered, "Trick or treat."
That is when the man saw a horrific sight: a ghostly white figure who is short and fat with red eyes, an eerily youthful appearance and chains all over his body floating right in front of him. Despite being young and fat, the figure resembles a walking corpse, with pale bluish white skin and ever-present dark circles under his eyes. His eyes themselves are abnormally bright and blood red, lacking any pupils, and his hair is a mess of bluish silver colors. He wears a white tuxedo with a tattered coat, white gloves, a white top hat and light gray shoes, so he quite literally looks like he stepped out of the Victorian era. His legs are also turned into a ghostly tail for eerie effect, adding a touch of the macabre. The figure's physique is further enhanced by the chains, which represent his past sins, that adorn his entire body. These chains are silver in color and he has shackles on his wrists and his left ankle with a ball and chain on his ankle shackle. He also is continually surrounded by a ghostly white glow. This adds a further sinister element to his appearance, as it is a reminder that he is a force of supernatural origin.
"Wh-wh-who are you?" the man asked.
The ghost smiled evilly as he replied in a sinister tone, "I'm the ghost of Eric Cartman, but you may call me the South Park Specter."
Before the man could scream, the South Park Specter takes out a dagger and stabs the man in the chest with the head of the jack-o-lantern scarecrow's head having blood splattered on itself.
