Summary
“Danny and Colleen are so cute together,” Matt says, as if reading Jess’s thoughts.
“Is that why you agreed to come out tonight?” Jess asks.
“Danny is very cute when he’s asking for a favor. He’s like a puppy begging for a treat.”
“Matt!”
“What? It’s true!”
Jess laughs. “They made a mistake when they made us hang out for a whole night.”
“Was it a mistake, or was it a stroke of genius?”Jessica Jones surprises herself by enjoying the beginning of her night, which starts when she accompanies Danny and Colleen to a new night club. It helps that Matt's there too, being as reluctantly happy as she is. But between the good champagne and the great dance floor, things go sideways. Jess finds herself triggered, caught off-guard, and reacting badly. She fights to get herself and Matt out of a situation she feels that she created.
