“No.” I simply replied, “And I doubt they’ll be home anytime this week.”
“That perfect.” Adachi’s tone sounded eerie as he said that. I could picture him smiling menacingly like he did when I foolishly burnt down the threat letters before him. “That would help me chat with my favourite accomplice privately face to face.”
